P. J.Visited for the first time after Covid lockdown. Something went wrong with Coffee Bean. First it's no longer open on weekends. Second - cleanse level went down and latte coffee is without taste and milk topped only. Strange direction as was one of our favourite coffee places. Hope will improve soon to previous level

K. S.One of the best coffee shops I have visited. The coffee is lovely and is presented to you by Friendly, professional staff. It has a great selection of sandwiches and treats available at all times. Several sofas are great for relaxing on and the free WiFi is a nice bonus.

The coffee is a lovely blend, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. A good place to sit and enjoy your drink at a lunch time.
L. M.A light and airy spacious space with a good atmosphere and plenty of seating. The layout and interior are great and the carpet and wallpaper are fun and different (coffee beans and stains). I would definitely go again and I imagine its a great place to take your laptop/notebook and get some work done too.

A tad expensive but hey this is central city location and coffee franchises generally work on an 80 percent markup profit on each cup sold. A few outdoor seats but they are right on pavement next to smelly traffic. Hardly relaxing!

The decor is looking tired, some of the furniture is damaged, and has been for several months. This is only a minor concern as it does not detract from the coffee or the atmosphere you can expect.
Unlike other establishments I could mention the shop is relaxed and chilled out. However due to it's proximity to St james Park, I have avoided the area on match days.
Highly reccomended all things considered, I often spend a spare hour or so in Central Bean enjoying a coffee, gathering my thoughts and relaxing.

J. T.A tea shop in Newcastle on the Gallowgate street I don't think I need to explain why it's called Gallowgate. ANYWAY the tea shop very nice well spaced out sitting areas, with comfy seats especially next to the windows so people watching is easy.
