N. P.What a discovery. Missed Gosforth to charge our car and found Chapel House. Cafe on the Corner we will be back when travel up north again. Great welcoming team who went over and above to help us. A lovely light and airy cafe. Daughter had a panini and salad we went for hot cross buns which were scrummy. Came away with Easter Fayee crème egg scotch eggs and mini egg cookie dough. Cheese cakes looked amazing too. Get off the A1 and go there. Easy 5 min drive

This is a newer business in a newer building: bright, airy, broad menu, excellent food (especially the cakes) and lovely staff. Definitely, definitely, worth a visit: I went two days running... Top tip: there aren't masses of parking spaces out front, so you may have to hunt around a bit...
