Reviews of Flat Caps Coffee
C.
This is a great little spot with wholesome tasty food options. The brunch and coffee are both exceptional! The service was great, the staff were friendly and helpful. They cleared the table regularly and asked if we wanted to order more drinks/food. We spent the morning working in this cafe, as did many others, there was no push back or feeling that we had to move on that you sometimes get in other cafes. We will be back again for sure :)
R. B.
Excellent atmosphere, coffee and food. Menu has a number of unusual and creative brunch dishes. Definitely will be returning for a third time!
L. H.
Great brunch options and a good vibe. Due to the kitchen being open and part of the cafe, we did leave smelling of food/grease however. Would still go back though! The Mexican brunch was really good.
S. H.
I read that this was one of the 10 best places to go in the North east for brunch. Read reviews and nearly didn't go, poor service I'd read. Decided to go anyway, so pleased we did. It's a bit quirky inside, open kitchen, which I love. We had brilliant service 👏. I had a bacon sandwich and hubby had the breakfast with saukraut and we both agreed we'd be back again. We were there just before 10, good time to go as it starts to fill up, not sure if you can book. Great little find, don't always go by reviews, find out for yourself!
C. D.
Nice looking place, coffee is good, slow service though - coffee was cold by the time we got cake to go with it, sugar not served at same time, Nutella brownie was nice but lemon drizzle was a pile of crumbs.
S. N.
An ideal place to get coffee, brunch, or study/do work with a drink. The iced lattes in particular are unreal and breakfasts and dishes are extremely creative - brilliant combinations of flavours, not sure if similar brunch can be found anywhere else!
I. J. M.
Amazing food and service as always. Great place for brunch, recommend the homemade tomato soup & Italian avocado 😋
A. D.
Really nice space to relax, outside seating is available as well. Coffee is pretty good, on the pricier end especially for the serving size compared to other local independents. Overall, still recommended!
D. L.
Don't even know where to start.. Ordered some porridge for my son, absolutely unbelievable taste and deserves 5 stars alone! - We ordered the Mexican Avacados and was so delicious and fresh!.. Props to the chef!
S.
coffee is on the more expensive side but definitely worth it. (fyi if you like to sweeten your coffee they don't have anything but regular sugar).

The cold brew is not good
Turkey egg is very special
Service was excellent

Great cafe and lovely staff. Spacious so there's lots of space between tables and lots of alcohol gel available.
Delicious coffee and my my friends dishes looked great. I love the feel of the place - industrial/horticulture vibe. Could easily spend a whole day chatting here with friends. A chilled out place where you could come to read a book or catch up with work. Recommend!
B. S.
Incredible coffee and delicious food. Chef was incredibly helpful with regards to allergies. Access is tricky with a pram however plenty of staff willing to help you back up the steps.

Lovely atmosphere, clean tables, delicious food and coffee

Unbeatable coffee. Also good for sit down all-day brunch. Would recommend going out of your way to try this place!
J. L.
Excellent coffee, excellent food. Had the Turkish eggs and was delicious. I am one of those picky coffee enthusiast people and I really liked the latte 🙃 Thanks!

Place was busy and they seem very short staffed but that's understandable in the current situation. Coffee was good and the place had a good vibe. Just didn't really want to stand at the door for over five minutes just to grab a quick coffee.
E. G.
Great food and coffee with a nice vibe all round
W. A.
Meh. It looks nice inside but the total bill is always quite high (around £30) for quite average food. Thankfully, they started serving other breads than just sourdough but they’re all still so hard to cut, it ruins your meal. Also don’t come unless you fancy smelling like bacon and sausage upon leaving - the kitchen is open and in the cafe so you end up smelling like a college canteen.
J. B.
Good coffee and delicious huevos rancheros 😋 definitely worth a visit
S. E. J.
Lovely, clam place to enjoy the coffee. Highly recommended for students if you are looking for a place to sit and study.
J. E.
My go to coffee shop in Newcastle, I like the earthy fresh interior and the when the late afternoon sundays peer through it's a nice space. They serve some great coffee too the fre times I've visited the serve up 'hasbean' beans which are some of the best in the country. There is parking available on street that's never been an issue. The coffee machine in this coffee house is beautiful to look at. You won't be disappointed.
J. O.
This has become my regular coffee haunt when in Newcastle. I love the industrial atmosphere, large airy ceilings and wooden school type chairs mixed in with sofa seats. Coffee is absolutely superb - they are top notch baristas - and they have water out for you to help yourself too. Food is delicious and the portions are big! Good range of larger meals and snacks and sandwiches and the cakes are yummy too. Finally, they’re pet friendly too!
P. D.
Great gourmet breakfast/brunch spot hidden away in a basement. Prices reflect the quality of the food & drink. Will bookmark for future return visits to Newcastle.
K. B.
Absolutely wonderful. Dog friendly ! The waitress brought the dog a bit bowl of water which was very much appreciated. The food was to die for ! The coffee is amazing.
T. H.
Great coffee with an interesting and delicious food menu. Friendly and helpful staff to boot. Flat Caps has a lovely atmosphere - highly recommended!
C. M.
Amazing coffee and food to die for. Would recommend the French toast! Staff always spot on.
I. M.
Really nice spot in the center of Newcastle. The staff is super friendly and the food absolutely delicious and they also have a nice variety of coffees to taste. The place was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!
K. O.
Amazing atmosphere, good quality coffee, welcoming staff! The coffees are one size only rather different to other coffee franchises like starbucks or costa.
A. S.
We had heard about this cafe and visited it today for the first time
It's a lovely quirky cafe staff very friendly and food delicious
Will definitely visit again.
M. C.
Food was great and coffee was good! Lunch time was very busy (and thus noisy) so not the place to go if you want some quiet. It has a great lively vibe though!
T. C.
Lovely coffee, I had a filter which was brewed with a kalita wave, very juicy and lived up to the tasting notes. I also had the haggis crunch, haggis, hash browns coleslaw and poached eggs, absolutely divine, really recommend this place!
J. Z.
This is my favorite place in town. Excellent coffee, amazing food, really friendly staff and brilliant atmosphere!
M. W.
This place knows coffee. Any coffee you could want. Add in a great vibe and good food and you’ve got yourself the perfect breakfast/brunch/lunch spot.
A. M.
Great coffee and cake. Spacious to come and work on your laptop or meet with friends over coffee. Nice music. Everything you'd want from a hipster cafe!
S. D.
The fine dining of coffee shops - I’ve frequented here for years and they always make consistently amazing coffees with loads of bean variety and brew methods, and incredible food (mainly brunch-style) - could not recommend enough
D. H.
Fantastic speciality coffee bar. Maybe slightly out of town but without doubt worth the walk. If you prefer something a little specialist over a cappuccino etc. make sure you request a Kalita Wave brew.
s.
Made a special trip because their online menu notes they have Turkish Eggs - unfortunately they couldn't offer this as they didn't have any Arabian flatbread. I had granola and coffee instead, both were very good.
R. L.
Wonderful staff and service, dog friendly and incredible food. Great for veggies too!!
E. V.
Lovely down-to-Earth cafe & fantastic staff. Great coffee; their Macchiato was just like I remember it in Italy. Good selection of food. Will certainly come there again ❤
J. J. S.
Delicious coffee and great food.
The coffee when we visited was from Workshop and Colonna. The filter prepared on a Kalita Wave was excellent but the espresso was outstanding, both on its own and with milk.
The food was also very good. They have toasted ciabatta rolls, avocado on toast with perfectly made poached eggs and a selection of baked goods for dessert.
The space is very spacious and bright, with plenty of seating.
A. j.
It's ok
D. M.
Great coffe, loved Turkish eggs last time but today I ordered Italian Avocado with extra poached eggs and it's feels really overpriced in comparison to the quantity, taste-wise it was fine (Turkish eggs much better tho).
S. C.
Wonderful hidden gem near the city centre. Fantastic coffees and food, plus talented mixologists for later in the day with their well-stocked bar (ask Roy for a cocktail, he will never disappoint!) Highly recommend giving Flat Caps a visit.
t. h.
Very good coffee and breakfast option. Being open so late is helpful if you are a freelancer and have a lot of work to finish. Great place to work with a laptop 🙌🏻 super friendly staff
S. E.
Just moved here and this is the best coffee I've had in Newcastle so far, great chilled atmosphere and would recommend to anyone!
E. K.
Amazing time! Go quite alot to study after college and the staff are the loveliest!! Would recommend to everyone
I. Z.
Absolutely the ambience! I was looking for a cool place to unwind and do uni work on my laptop.
Also, the grilled sandwich and barbecue sauce were surprisingly delicious!
J.
Over priced coffee, slow service. Left us waiting at the door for too long.
A. C.
Fabulous setting, great coffee and food with some extremely knowledgeable staff. Well recommended 👌
J. s.
I'm a huge coffee lover and know a lot is down to individual taste but i found the coffee to be nice but not worth the price tag! My first visit yesterday and i ordered a latte to take out, i paid £3.70!! for a tiny cup. This was the most i've ever paid for such a tiny takeout cup (and i buy coffee a lot!) if it wasn't for the fact the barista had already made it i think i would have cancelled my order when i realised how small the cup is. I cant help but feel completely ripped off, i appreciate small businesses have to factor costs into their pricing but for the size and fact it was a takeout it was well over priced. I think they should reduce the cost for takeout coffee to be even remotely competitive. The coffee was smooth but there are other places in the city which serve great coffee at much more realistic price point and where you dont leave feeling ripped off.
Left feeling disappointed,
A. B.
Favourite coffee spot in Newcastle, also does great food :)
T. D.
Really cute place with loads of plants and space to work/study. Also it's right under Blind Tiger so you can have a coffee before and after getting inked!
E. P.
I had an awesome day getting work done at Flat Caps today. They met and exceeded my expectations of a coffee shop.
Plenty of good options to choose from for food and drink. I personally ordered a latte with almond milk, the avocado on sourdough(Mexican) with an added 2 poached eggs. After breakfast/lunch I went back and got a pour over(filtered?) coffee that was out of this world delicious with no milk! I just love when you can get a coffee and enjoy it for the simple pure taste of it. I would order it every time. I also stayed hydrated with the water they generously provide at the front(that they never let run out🙂). The bonus to it all was the dark chocolate selection they have. I went for the 100% dark of single origin, just like their coffees by the way😉.
On top of all that, the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. There were plenty of tables and even some with outlets. There were lots of pastries to choose from that I did not try, but that is what subsequent visits are made for!
The staff were really friendly and nice. Someone is obviously on top of it here in organization. It is not easy to make a business look and run this good.
So do yourself a favor and go try this place out.
T. S.
Probably the best cafe in Newcastle for remote working. The food is fantastic and the coffee is reasonably priced and decent. They also offer filter coffee if you don't want to buy expensive milky coffees all day
A. L.
TOP ESPRESSO.NICE AND THICK WITH A HEAD😊FOOD WAS WELL MADE,LESS CORIANDER OR NO CORIANDER..I DONT KNOW ANYONE WHO LIKES THAT SHIT🤣
S.
Always a great, experience. Food is delicious and a good choice of food / drink intolerance alternatives, would highly recommend
J. M.
Exceptional food. Coffee isn't quite as good. Reasonable place to work in town.
c. g.
Lovely food and lovely coffee. I do think the coffee prices are on the high side (£3.50 for a flat white if I recall correctly) but my flat white was delicious. Slightly too much foam for a flat white but that is nit-picking really!
L. T.
Luscious coffee, and the white choc blondie is to die for. Cool decor but not too over the top, comfortable and casual.
S. C.
some of the staff lack any enthusiasm what so ever, some of them barely will utter a word, it doesn't personally bother me although it would be a nice touch to have staff that don't seem sick of their lives.
However this is a specialist coffee shop, and they do serve the best coffee in Newcastle its just that simple, with 3 options available and 2 of them changing constantly it will most likely always offer a variety you will think of as superior to other coffee places, if you want to experience good coffee try the different offerings available at flat caps coffee.
Only negatives I can find are the steep price and a few staff seem disinterested which may bother some. Thanks for the amazing coffee FC its certainly the best in a large radius..
K. S.
I've only just discovered this place but I'm very impressed. There is loads of room inside and plenty of seating although they could do with more comfy seats to relax with your coffee. About the coffee. It is lovely. The house blend has a lovely liquorice taste to it which I love. It is prepared with meticulous care and as such can take a little longer to receive It, but it's worth the wait. I haven't tried the food here but it looks delicious.
S. H.
Had a coffee and lunch today for the first time. Lovely lunch of Turkish eggs, first time I have had this and was not disappointed 😊😊. Bacon and eggs for Ann simply beautiful. Nice coffee and great staff. We will be back 👍👍👍👏👏👏
M. H.
This place is a urban coffee house with bohemian vibes. Popular with Students, creative, and hipster types. What I really like is that relaxed but sociable atmosphere, you can bring your laptops in and co-work or meet-up with colleagues or friends to discuss. Coffees, brunches, and small eats are here, free WiFi, and also dog friendly! I wouldn't choose anywhere else! Highly recommended!
E.
Great coffee that you don't need to throw sugar or milk in and they really know their stuff! Also really love the gluten free bread! Love the chilled environment, I bring my laptop there some times to get a bit of work done and the staff is cool with it. Definitely would recommend.
N. L.
Great coffee and cakes in a lovely, bustling environment with a great atmosphere.
S. M.
Really nice aesthetic, great little quiet spot
F. J.
Love this place! The vibes are amazing, great coffee, great staff. Really nice to come and work/study in or for a hangout with friends
The only downside is that they used to be open late on weekends and they aren't anymore. We sued to bring a large group on a Friday evening for hangouts but have had to find somewhere else now
S. A.
A little hidden gem close to Newcastle’s center. Amazing decor, and variety of seats (coaches, and regular tables). Kinda has a hipster-y vibe which is nice. I went there with a friend so we can write for a bit , and there were many others doing the same thing as there were many electrical outlets to charge either our phones or laptops. I would definitely be frequenting this place more, my new favorite cafe in Newcastle.
J. P.
Really nice coffee but not a huge fan of the main food - though it is mostly vegetarian. Brownies were delicious. Would go again for a quick coffee.
K. C. (.
Spacious table, the French toast is nice and the Italian avo is amazing too.
K. G.
Relaxing café where you can enjoy some great coffee or food. Perfect for a meal or just a quiet place to read with an accompanying treat.
R. B.
Great flat white, great music choices, great service, however the WiFi was just a little slow
L. P.
Nice cosy coffee place in Newcastle with comfy sofas and the usual tables. It quite big inside, bigger than most coffee shops I've been in. The coffee was probably one of the best flat whites I've ever tasted! Much better than the usual chain coffee shops. The missing star was due to the fact its quite worn out and tired inside. I think it needs an update, the sofas were torn and to be honest probably could do with a thorough deep clean.
S. M.
I frequently enjoy taking my laptop to work here; it always has a nice atmosphere without being overly full of people. The staff are super friendly and the food is great! Would recommend the salted caramel brownie👌🏻
R. C.
Amazing food & coffee!
M. M.
Amazing coffee, with great atmosphere! The place is going for a "hipster" feel, and for what its worth it fits perfectly. Slightly off from city center, but within shorter walking distance. Staff/barristas offer 3 types of coffee each day, with choice of regular filter, air filter etc. The breakfast is to die for, both their standard one and the vegetarian one, despite costing £8. The place is roomy and has wifi, and apparently works 24/7.
Highly recommended, went there several times and would do so again!
س. ع. ا.
It is a lovely cafe to study and chill in.
L. G.
I’m a certified coffee obsessive and I’ve loved geeking out about coffee over the years with Joe. His shop is a treat and the delivery service (ridiculously quick!) that he’s offered during lockdown has kept me sane, bringing some of the finest roasters in the world to the Toon. I love what he does and his desire to make Newcastle a coffee connoisseur’s destination.
m. s.
Nice coffee, large open space for remote working etc. Prices of coffee and food over priced for the qualify of the product used. Take out latte is in a small flat white size cup for £3.70 as an example!
A. Q.
Nice place to work to have great meal
R. C.
This cafe has a nice vibe. It's subterranean position literally gives you an interesting view on the world seeing people outside through the top lights that are at the top of the walls. I am not a great coffee lover, but had a very good tea. However my son is a coffee lover and flatcaps is clearly for those that worship at the altar of coffee. Thoroughly good place, nice light snacks with good bread and local Northumberland cheese. Worth a visit.
O. W.
Great new venue with much more space to chill with an excellent supply and choice of coffees.
However far removed from the Bijoux delight that was the original premises, with excellent table manners and grace, I was met with a grumpy "Barista" with barely the manners to grunt a price at me never mind explain the offerings of the week.
I will return at least once more and hope that today was simply a one off bad day.
I. P.
Nice place to relax with great selection of coffees, inspired food plates and delicious brownies. In a quiet area very close to the city centre. Friendly staff 😊👍
D. W.
Only been once even though I live across the road. Can't wait until January to get my student loan in so I can go again! This has got to be the best coffee in the best location I've ever had. 10/5
J.
Love love love flat caps! Got an iced latte for £3.50 that was really milky and delicious :D some people think it's diluted, but i really enjoy it. Probs my 10th cup this year. The ambience is great, service is top, and I can just sit in there for ages. Got a great selection of beer and food as well <3 the only thing I dont enjoy is the nitro cold brew... Not sure why but it just didn't taste pleasant. A little sour and watery... But i still LOVE FCC no less!
R. I.
Very very nice coffee shop, staff clearly know what they are doing and make an extreamly crisp cup of coffee!!!
K. M.
Possibly the nicest coffee in Newcastle? I’ll let you decide...Top class baristas, friendly and easy vibes about the place. Nice big open space plenty of seats to get cosy too. The simple things like self service water vending is a nice touch too.
J. C.
Amazing staff and atmosphere with beautiful hanging plants all over the ceiling. The coffee is great. Usually three choices from various countries brewed using your preferred method (filter, aeropress and even siphon!) along with your usual coffee expectations. Pretty awesome nitro cold brew too!
J. B.
Brilliant food worth the wait. Thank you
C. M.
Amazing coffee. Has its own roaster so provides different coffees on a regular basis.
J. P.
Excellent coffee. Food tasty too. Loads of seating options- small tables, large tables, stools, sofas. A good place to do a bit of laptop work. Now has a drinks licence and a cocktail menu.
C. E.
Delicious avocado on toast with light crispy., springy toast and good quality olive oil. Decent, helpful staff. Good decaf coffee. Cool environment. Just wish all hanging plants were real
D. J.
The Syphon coffee was awesome. Great breakfast too.
K.
Great coffee with knowledgable staff that actually know what they are talking about when it come to coffee. Love going there because the selection of different brewing methods and coffees are great.
Highly recommend this place.
G. B.
Lush little place for a coffee, cake and chat. Staff are lovely which is always an added bonus.

Visited Saturday 13th April 2019.
I was recommended to try Flat Caps....I was told "great coffee if a little off the beaten track". I liked the atmosphere but was very disappointed in a number of things. First impressions ARE very important.
It's got a warehouse house environment but that shouldn't be at the expense of cleanliness. Flooring & the only one functional toilet ( other had a bulb out and no one was using) were grubby. The rug near the door was in need of a sweep/ hoover.
The disinterested 'attitude' of two of the "barista" gentleman serving was disconcerting. Attentiveness to the needs of any and all customers is a pre requisite to any service industry. A bored looking , uncommicative worker comes across loudly to those being served. Lacked enthusiasm certainly.
I don't know why but I expected loose leaf tea but no, tea bag. And the coffee.... was ( as my hubby consumed) was okay and cool. As a comparison the coffee at Waterstones was stronger, smoother, nicer and cheaper & The tea was loose leaf.
Lastly I noted my small milk jug was not clean so I returned to the counter, there was no hassle taking it , but some simple words like " thank you for bringing this to our attention, sorry that this has occured, ill bring another jug over to where you are sitting directy" ....i awaited my milk. It was duly bought without a word or acknowledgement. That in my opinion is a little rude.
Will I go again...may be not. There's plenty of other places to explore 😊👍
J. C.
As far as coffee is concerned, definitely in the top three in the city. With options for Aeropress, syphon and pour over coffee, they unquestionably know their stuff.
I’ve not tried their food, but it all looks decent, albeit a tad expensive for what is essentially a coffee shop.
A. H.
The best breakfast I have every had. French toast with bacon, maple syrup and extra haggis. A washed Columbian San fermin aeropress. Definitely a place for true coffee and did geeks.
C. J.
A great space, and spacious too. Superb coffee and cake (although more lemon in the lemon cake please). I've heard that the food is excellent too. Suitable both for working alone and drinking with friends.
M. S.
Exceptional coffee and a great atmosphere. The staff have a passion for their products and a real drive to serve their customers well. You feel very welcome and very comfortable here.
M. Y. &. Y.
Great place for food and coffee. Also they opened a cocktail bar on Friday and Saturday run by Roy. So it is staying open later, bar opens on Friday four pm till midnight also the same on Saturday. There is food on but only nibbles.
21st December The cocktail bar is now open on a Wednesday and Thursday same times as Fri & Sat.
A. L.
First rate coffee and breakfast line up. A must if you love your coffee! Only thing they could improve on would be if there was a small shop offering filter papers and beans to go.
C. H.
Fantastic coffee with friendly staff, but no-one was wearing a flat cap.
R. P.
I don’t want to score this place too harshly because the coffee and food was very nice but hopefully an owner or manager will take note that today (Sunday) the cafe was desperately under-staffed. I was told there would be a 20 minute wait on food so opted for a cold snack instead and then the coffee took about 15 minutes to come because of the backlog of orders ahead of mine. One staff member seemed to be working incredibly hard to get coffee orders to tables but was fighting to keep his head above water. I’ll visit again but hope this is rectified next time.
C. R.
Really nice space with really good coffee. I had the cheese toastie which was on of the best I've had! Best coffee shop in Newcastle in my experience.
F. S.
A comfortable and relaxed coffee shop that's pleasant to be in. Nice coffee and decent food. The staff were great too.
N. P.
Very welcoming place and a brilliant place to meet friends. The year was excellent, there was a wide selection of cakes with lots of them gluten free. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
A. M.
Excellent coffee and a good selection of cakes, including good gluten free choices. We didn't try the brunch but we look forward to trying it soon.
R.
Extremely friendly staff, such a cosy and lovely environment for a lunchtime break.
I ordered a salted caramel brownie and it was devine!
Highly recommend
L. J.
Super delicious and fresh food (had my best breakfast in town!), true selection of good coffee, lovely staff for decent price! Recommend!
d. a.
It is always good to meet friends or for study. Friendly staff and great food 👏🏻
A. H.
Food, although good, was slightly overpriced for Newcastle. Nice enough if you're there to work but not necessarily good for just coffee. The salted caramel brownie was good, though...
C. M.
Chilled out café nice atmosphere to read a book or just have a talk with friends, the menu is unique and cakes are sooo tasty. The staff is very welcoming.
n. c.
Fantastic coffee, one of the the best in Newcastle. Superb value for beautiful freshly made food. Fab staff too.
A. T.
Really nice place, nitro cold brew coffee was great, as were brownies. Really impressed!
R. A.
Has to be one of my favorite coffee shops in the world. Great breakfast, great staff, lovely atmosphere... a local staple even as a visitor
C. N.
Excellent tea and superb cakes! Lots of other great food on the menu and a lovely environment. Definitely a Newcastle gem!
D. M.
Great coffee and a decent tea selection - fabulous pastries too. Good wifi so handy for spending a morning in with a laptop - or alternatively, a good book!
V. C.
A great space - much bigger than the previous premises, with a great menu, plants, lots of natural light & delicious specialty coffee. Keen to go back for an evening drink or am event.
B. B.
Great looking space nice and big so plenty of room for a bigger group. Had the aeropress and was super tasty. Lovely staff and would definitely recommend a visit.
M. C.
Nice food
L. Q.
Best breakfast I've ever had (haggis breakfast), delicious coffee, great atmosphere. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
S. A.
Always a great coffee with great service. These guys are awesome 😎
J. C.
Amazing. Lovely venue, serves delicious coffee and amazing sweet treats. Caters for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and others.
H. A.
One of my favourite places to eat and drink. Amazing coffee, selection of soft and alcoholic drinks with warming food.
I. B.
A really nice location with a wide open space which they've really managed to lighten up. Could do with a few more soft seating areas (I think there's only one or two sofas) but other than that it's great!
R. P.
Coffee was great and the Lemon Blondie was AMAZING
J. O.
The coffee is a bit expensive (flat white at £3), but the atmosphere is great, very cozy.
A. H.
Had a really delicious breakfast here during my visit to Newcastle. Delicious eggs Benedict. Great coffee.
K. V.
Great coffee, on the day I was in the staff member was snappy. I have never had this experience at flat caps before but I would normally have left 5 stars.
L. r.
Lovely relaxed coffee shop to work from during the day or head to after work. One of the only coffee shops open after 6 in the city centre!
L. R.
I've always loved Flat Caps for its excellent coffee, great toasties and fantastic cakes. Here's to a bright future in the new home.
E. C.
Great coffee (I can recommend the mocha) and food served here but be prepared to wait for food if it is busy as it is made to order.
N. C.
Quirky and I love it. The food is superb, gf options too. Coffee is the best you will find anywhere.
R. M.
