S. N.Beautiful interior, good food, and quite large portions, so very filling. The coffee is amazing and the Hollandaise sauce on the eggs royal was one of the best I’ve ever had. The place is quite busy, presumably because it’s so popular, but it might have just gone onto my favourite brunch places list.
C.What a lovely place! Having a coffee around lots of plants creates an excellent atmosphere. And to add to that, the staff are really lovely! I was greeted straight away and complimented on my outfit, I had a nice little chat with the person behind the counter. I had a flat white and the quality of the coffee was incredible. It had just the right amount of syrup in and was served in a lovely cup. I’ll definitely be coming back!
A.We called on Sunday for breakfast and were welcomed by staff straight away who sorted us a table really quickly. We both ordered the full English, which was delicious. Some other reviews mention prices which I'd say are a little bit high for the area but you can understand why when you see the food and the quality of the ingredients. The sausages especially were really really good and I'd say it was worth the money overall. We both got coffee's, which were great, and they also offer non-dairy alternatives. All in all, I highly recommend Fork in the Rose to anyone, you won't be dissappointed.
R. P.This cafe/florist looks lovely inside and out. They have a great selection of foods and cakes on offer and is naturally made beautiful by their selection of house plans and flowers on display.
I went there with a few people for lunch, and plenty of options of vegan/non vegan food. I got a "build you own sandwich" with avocado, apple brown sauce and smoked iceberg lettuce (the nicest thing that's on the menu). Would definitely reccomend to anyone! Everyone I was with thought their food was delicious too, although the Baked feta on toast with significantly smaller than the rest of the portions and a tad disappointing. Sometimes felt a bit rushed to finish the food, pay the bill and get out too. I'd definitely go back though.

S. W.Easily the best food in Heaton! Amazing friendly staff too. With all locally sourced ingredients, the prices are beyond reasonable. Should be on everyone's list as a must when passing through Newcastle. Owner is incredibly nice and talented when it comes to plants, can't help picking up a few new ones every time I stop by!
P. S.Gotta love the smashed avocado and poached eggs on sour bread toast. The veggie full English breakfast is also a favourite. Nice atmosphere. And you can buy a small plant whilst you are there. Quirky.

J. S.Small friendly café, specialising in brunch. Clearly a popular spot on Sunday mornings as we had to wait 10 minutes for a table.Had the cooked breakfast which was very good. All the ingredients were top notch and well cooked. I don't think it was great value for money at £13.50. I had an apple juice which was fine but the 'fresh' orange juice ordered by the rest of the table was terrible. Tasted like it came from fruit that was well past its best. Staff were really friendly and service was good.
G.Glad this has popped up on Heaton road, it's got lots of windows which means it's nice and bright on the inside. Combine that with the florist and you get an appealing atmosphere.
Try the Rose latte if you get a chance, it's really fun. Prices are what'd you'd expect for a nice coffee shop like this, nothing silly. The carrot cake was delicious and me and my girlfriend found ourselves fighting over the last crumb.
Staff are relaxed, attentive and friendly.
J. H.Coffee is great, they use quality oat milk too so good if you are vegan/want to avoid dairy, always really friendly.
I have also ordered flowers from here too, they were beautiful! lasted a really long time too, far better than any supermarket bought ones.
overall 100% recommend and I am looking forward to eating here too!
R. S. H.My hubby and myself come up to Newcastle every 3 to 4 weeks to visit our daughter who has just recently moved to this area. We come for breakfast on a sunday morning before coming home. The place is spotless, and looks so lovely with all the flowers and plants. All the staff are so friendly. Cant do enough for you. The food is amazing. Credit to the chef.Especially the black pudding from Stornoway. (I originally come from Glasgow).Also just started going out and it was great to see staff wearing masks. Will be back in a few weeks and will definitely be having the fry up again. Cant wait. Take care everyone. See you soon. Thanks again. x
