A. R.A lovely little treasure of a coffee shop with vintage memorabilia to board games and an old bicycle on display out back. A reminder of my home while growing up. Great coffee. Great choice of cakes. The service was ok, but a bit busy so not much time for the waitress to chat. I might go back when it's a bit quieter.
L. M.Lovely coffee shop! Nice and cozy atmosphere and have got plenty options for drinks. I got a caramel brownie which was lovely and a strawberry & banana smoothie. I have a feeling the smoothie might have had milk in which made it taste more like a milkshake but it wasn’t too bad. I would certainly return and recommend the cafe to others!

E. C.I go here several times a week and I walk away feeling warm and happy each time. The staff are always friendly and polite and make you feel special. They have a wide selection of books for you to read through or buy, along with some vinyl records, too. It is child-friendly with some toys and board games to keep both them and yourself amused (me and my girlfriend like to pop in and play scrabble from time to time, getting wired on too much caffeine!) Overall, I'd recommend this place to everyone - it's a great cure for the modern-world-blues.

S.comfortable. like you're in someones kitchen. books of interest to read or to borrow. fairly good coffee, but not exceptional. ive had toast with a vegan spread and jam for a few days in a row, and it does not disappoint. casual seating in a funky, kitschy environ. it makes you feel welcome. and is a fine place to have a civilized chat with friends. a few pastries including a vegan bar the days ive been there. clean bathrooms, and lovely people behind the counter.

S.As a coffee shop, Heaton Perk fulfils it's primary function as the beverages here are good, there are light meals and snacks available, and it has a shabby-chic ambience that makes one feel comfortable. Worth a visit, if only for the chance to examine all the paraphernalia from the 1950-60s, including old radios,books, signs furnishings etc.
