We got there for 8.30pm as it said on Google they close at 10pm. We were rushing to order because we didn't want them to be late with closing. Found out after the close at 11pm. The food was great. My husband enjoyed his meal and My children wanted the dessert so they ate a bit of the pizza. I order the meat lasagna which was OK but had no spice. Overall its was great my children loved it and staff were great and friendly too.

Although taste was good but service wasn't very good!! Very slow service!! Traditional desi items as well as pasta, BBQ, pizza, desserts and ice-cream!! Rates slightly more than average!! Parking on site available usually out of office hours!! Overall a good option specially if looking for Halal and desi!!

The chicken biryani was delicious, defo recommend. The chicken steak was one of the best ive had. The portion size was huge, recommended to eat with the biryani rice. The service was extremely slow and lacked in hospitality. But the food was Peng. Defo try the the mix kebab platter very nice with the yoghurt chutney sauce. Keema chips sounds simple... But definitely got my dimples showing.. it was outstanding!!! it's a Defo a must have. The pizza was a let down the base was under cooked and lacked in flavour due to too much cheese... Chicken tikka did not have much flavour. Hot shot Parmo was very bland...and very hard to chew (chicken must have been triple fried or something proper leather). Overall experience would be a three. I would go back for sure but the service needs to scratch up and the staff need to communicate to get things running more smoothly!

Really good food, we go here weekly, if not twice a week! The curries are amazing, so many choices for other kitchens if you wish. We tried the Sunday dinner a few weeks ago which was on point! I recommend cakes/deserts too. We have tried everything at this point and It never disappoints! Definitely going back again and again. Thank you to the lovely staff aswel!

'CHICKEN BIRYANI' ... probably the best description to this place is the dish. If you ask them to make it Desi Style Spicy, they will give you a remarkable tasty Biryani, which is very rare to find around here. The Daal and Haleem are also good side dishes to have (if you can handle a good quantity). They have a WIDE variety of desserts to choose from (it will come in handy, trust me). If you want less sugary dessert, then you can go for Pistachio Milkshake, it has very mild sugar taste and if you have a sweet tooth then either go for a Gajar (carrot) Halwa or Gulab Jamun, with requesting a vannila ice cream scoop. Thank me later.

Great Food, Great Service, Reasonably Priced. Casual dining place with a mixed menu of Asian food and burgers/pastas. The food is delicious and freshly prepared, portions are generous and the staff are warm, attentive and friendly. The restaurant is spotless and there's a huge dessert counter for those with a sweet tooth. Burgers are highly recommended, 100% smashed beef, one of the best in Newcastle! Very spacious and suitable for large groups, reasonably priced and great value. Would definitely go back. Highly Recommended!!!!

Good selection of food to satisfy most tastes. Ordered a chicken nambali which was nice but have nicer elsewhere. The mixed grill was nice and decent portion. Got the cornflake tart as I used to love it as school, however it was stale and disappointing. Mrs Carrot cake was much nicer though. Place was quiet on the day we went and service was good. Interior decor is really nice, staff are very friendly and do go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I would have given them a higher score, however, I didn't find their Khyber Grill for 1 very tasty and it was quite well done. There are other local Grill places which are much better in comparison. The other friends who went with me really enjoyed The Punjabi Karahi, Sea Bass, Nihari and their desserts.

Nice, warm and welcoming restaurant. We were promptly seated, and they took our order in a timely manner as well. We ordered cheesy potatoe skins to start. A main of grilled chicken burger & chips, and keema matter and spicy chips. The portions were on the bigger side, so no complaints. The food tasty, and would recommend people to try it out.

Was very quiet when I went and the food was lovely. Staff were friendly and service was great. Nice seating if you can get the booths or seating by the window. Limited free parking is also available outside. The restaurant is also away from the busy congested part of west road so you do not have to worry about stressful parking issues.

The food was okay, not amazing but not bad however the service was so slow for the fact that they weren't even busy. Honestly the service ruined the food for me. We had to ask for a menu and plates which you would think just come to your table anyways. The prices are very high for the portions of food you receive. Delicious food and lovely desserts and really great friendly service. The menu is varied with HMC certified meat & poultry but also good vegetarian and fish choices and a kids menu too. It is child & family friendly, and it was nice to see such a variety of people of all ages and backgrounds while we were there. It is spacious, clean, tidy, nicely decorated and has a disabled WC plus baby change as well. We will definitely visit whenever we are in Newcastle. I would recommend this place.

Been twice since it’s take over and it’s been really nice. Although, food was a bit delayed on our last visit, the service made up for it. Nice and spacious, plenty of choice, starters, mains and lots of desserts. Easy to get to, hardly ever any queues and no trouble parking. Love the fact that you can exit out of a different door so people coming into the shop don't get in the way of people leaving. I always enjoy going to Fazals and would recommend it is you're in the area or fancy going somewhere nice to take the family.

I've been there a couple of times. Usually go there in the evenings with friends and colleagues. IveI really liked that place. The atmosphere is very calming, well it least it appeared for me so. It is clean and nice place to spent sometime with friends over the food. Up untill know I have tried many different foods that they offer, for example chicken/lamb briani, different burgers( I liked lamb burger the most) chicken mozarella, chicken parmesan and chicken Tikka. I have moved here 2 months ago and this is a no.1 place to go to have some Italian or Asian food. II'v been there today as well (30.12.2019) and tried chicken and mushroom pasta this time. I had tried Asian food, because I like spicy food. However chicken and mushroom pasta was something special. The way how it was cooked and served was very enjoyable. The taste was incomparable to other foods in other restaurants. It takes about 10-20 minutes depending on your order, but I like that they use fresh ingredients, because I am sort of a piky person, so I do not really like food which was made by gone off or low quality stuff. You can always go and check that out if you want. At least I found this place a very nice place to spend evening, eating nice food. I guess the prices were fairly reasonable. They use fresh ingredients. I've been to few restaurants in Newcastle but the prices were different. Somewhere prices were very high compared to the taste and the quality of food. Another thing which I've liked is the owner of the cafe. The guy is very friendly and greets us and everybody with special treatment. He might be an example of a real caring owner. He is very friendly. He keeps his staff conscious and controls everything himself. The Staff are experienced, ddiscipldis and friendly. To conclude my advice will be going there and trying foods like chicken Tikka for starters and lamb briani or chick and mushroom pasta for mains, and for desert you can choose from variety of cheesecakes, cakes, brownies, milkshakes, iceicreams and/or waffles. I personally like cheesecakes, and they make it and serve it outstandingly. Anyeay, it is better to see once rather than hearing it many times, so when you have time visit that place, hope that you will not regret it.

Came here for a family meal as I haven't been since it's changed from Fazals. Food was really nice and staff were helpful and asked us a number of times if everything was ok. There were a few mistakes during our time there (i.e wrong sundries) they resolved them quite quickly and apologised for the mistake.

This place has a huge range of desserts, from waffles, hot cookie dough, once creams, gelato, ice cream sundaes, brownies, cheesecakes, tarts, cakes, amongst many other items. Their dessert range is always fresh and presented very beautifully, very reasonable price and very large slices. The pistachio gelato is just devine! I have ordered a specially customised fresh cake from there before and it was made perfectly and so light and fluffy with beautiful piping. They also have hot meals, such as the mix grill for 2 people At £15, which is so delicious. Good curries and large delicious fresh made naan breads. They also have a more British selection on their menu as well. They really cater to all customers. The restaurant is veey chic in its decor and classy, very clean and modern but also comfortable. It's not an expensive place, it is affordable. I recommend it for all ages and events. Best thing is they are also open till late on a Sunday.

Food was of acceptable quality for the price. Major issue was when I came to pay. They advised their card machine wasn't working. I had to drive to the nearest cashpoint to withdraw some money to pay them. Maybe a notice at the entrance wouldn't go amiss.

I'm personally not a fan of Fazals cafe, been a few times and it seems to be a favourite amongst locals if your popping over to catch up with your mates ect, 4 of us ordered, we waited a while. When it eventually arrived we had to ask for serving spoons, water, clean glasses and the waitress was so rude every time we asked for something which should have been provided with the meal, she would rudely roll her eyes. I go to fazals cafe, reluctantly but stick to basics.
