Really cute experience and would definitely go again!! Staff were lovely and made me feel at ease around the cats as I've never really been around them much. The drinks were lovely and came with cute cat spoons which was appreciated. There was lots for the cats to do and so many different personalities. Hope to go there again soon :)

Went with my fiancé for her birthday, the cats were well looked after. Some cats were a little reserved but that was fine. We both had a latte which was lovely they came very well presented with a little paw print 🐾 and a cat spoon. The staff were knowledgeable very friendly. We just got off the plane and needed time to kill before check in. This was the best idea. The staff are so friendly, very helpful and patient. Drinks are lovely too! But the cats are so adorable and lovable, they love a cuddle and attention. Take an hour out of your holiday or day to just relax.

So I originally booked this as a birthday treat, however had to reschedule due to illness. The staff member I spoke to on the phone was lovely and booked us in for another day. However, when we got there our name was not on the system, I was a little worried that we would be turned away and we had travelled an hour to get there. Luckily the lady was lovely and said she could squeeze us in as they had a space left. The cafe was lovely, lots of things like bridges, cat trees, an exercise wheel and loads of toys to keep the cats entertained. The drinks and biscuits we had were lovely, we didn't eat so can't comment on the food. The staff were lovely and chatty and were happy to talk to you about about cats and you could see they genuinely cared about them all. We were given biscuits to feed the cats and were encouraged to play with them. As my second visit, I had a great time and will definitely be back. I would 100% recommend!

Lovely place, but the cats are a bit frustrated as they are not allowed to go outside. Food looks good but is not the best, you can't pickup the pets but they have toys that you can play with. The room is a bit smelly but everything there looks clean.

Was in Newcastle for the weekend and was taken here as a surprise. I loved it! The cats were well looked after, healthy coats and clearly very content. They have many toys and structures to play on including some up high if they wanted to get out of reach. There was also an escape route for them so they could leave the cafe area at any time. There are, rightly so, a few rules about the handling of the cats but once they had been discussed you are free to mingle with the cats. We had lunch and a lovely coffee and cat cuddles, what more could you want. The cafe was spotlessly clean and the kitchen area out of bounds to the cats The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and happy to chat about the cats and their welfare. This is not everyone's cup of tea, of course, but anyone that likes cats, even a little bit should pay them a visit.

If you've been to other cat café's it probably wasn't as good as this one... A smaller space and more cats mean that less people are there at once and the cats are more than happy to come up and say hello... Especially if you have cake or a hot chocolate with toppings. Watch out for Bean, he's incredibly naughty.

A lot better than most cat cafes, staff were friendly and let the cats do their own thing. The room was clean and there was plenty of organic stimulation for the cats to interact with the customers and have their own space. The cats had a range of personalities and were friendly to one another and clearly were well looked after. Choice of food was somewhat limited. Would recommend to anyone this cafe is far above others in its genre.

Amazing experience. The cats were all friendly and used to humans, and didn't seem to mind us being there at all. They all had their own individual personalities and the staff seemed extremely knowledgeable about their cats which made the whole experience better. It provided a lovely relaxed atmosphere for a coffee and some food which were both really tasty. My only advice is don't leave your bag on the floor as some cats rather took to mine!

My partner and I were flat hunting and were missing our own moggy so decided to drop by at this cat café to suppress our cat withdrawal. This café has a great atmosphere with adorable cat-themed decor, a plethora of cat toys and furniture and guidelines and character introductions for the cats in the menus. The cats were all very sweet, they are all from shelters and seem very happy and healthy so you know the £5 entry fee is well spent. The staff are friendly and the food is pretty good too. I'd definitely recommend visiting if you're a cat lover.

Lovely welcoming staff, who are an assesst to the cafe. A nice selection of rescue cats with some really interesting coats and personalities. It's a small space but works well this way, doesn't feel too cramped as bookings are limited. Must book ahead!

What an amazing place!!! Me and my son went today,Daniel has autism and really struggles in social situations. He absolutely adores cats so we thought we would give it a try. A cat-lover's dream. Fantastic friendly atmosphere where you can eat and drink in comfort with the benefit of feline company. A great variety of cats, all with different characters - and all so photogenic! The staff are all very pleasant as you'd expect and will talk to you all day long about the cats. There's a £5 fee per person which is absolutely worth it - it all goes to the upkeep of the cats and the business and the food and drink is relatively inexpensive! Booking recommended.

My table became a 'table for 4' when I got there as 3 cats were sharing it! First time at a cat café, which I found interesting. The staff were friendly and cats were well looked after. Most of the customers wanted to play with the cats constantly, when the cats didn't seem to be in the mood to play, which I felt frightened the cats. We sat in Dexter's corner and he sat with us for a few minutes, enjoying being stroked. For the rest of the hour, we tried to let the cats come to us, as it felt more appropriate than chasing them round the room. Overall a great experience, with the exception of the coffee, which I drank to be polite, but it tasted terrible 😕

Fun place to go if you're a cat person. The food was pretty good although I'd prefer a few more choices. There were veg options. The cat-paw-chino had a playful cat paw print. If you get a drink with whipped cream or a sandwich with cheese, expect the cats to be sniffing around but they're not super aggressive about it. In fact they're all adorable!

A little oasis of smoothing calm. A charming ambience both of cats and people. It is of course well worth noting this is a cat cafe; we are talking cats not performing monkeys so be patient. Very cute cats (and lots of them). We got to give treats to the cats so that was a plus. The Chocolate milk was fine, maybe a bit too sweet but oh wel. Spoons were to die for... and the lids on the Chocolate milk end other things were really smart. Keeping those cat tongs away from your whipped cream.

Cat haters need not apply - this is a cat cafe, and thus there are several delightful cats allowed to roam free about the cafe room. Lovely coffees, cakes and panini's, and also a chance to give some cats love and attention. All cats here are rescues - two are even rescued from overseas, and the entrance fee for the cafe goes towards their food, toys and vet care. You do need to book in advance on weekends and school holidays - the cafe is small and the visitor numbers are limited to ensure the cats are not overwhelmed. Really worth it though to meet Stan and all his furry friends.

Velvet cake and scones were delicious and kids loved to be able to play and stroke the cats. Def would love to go back if in Newcastle again. Never been to a cat cafe before but loved it! There were so many things there to keep the cats entertained - toys, scratching posts, a big wheel. They all seemed very content and the staff were great with them. We had lunch, which was lovely and was even offered some cat biscuits to feed them, which got a good response! A £5 entry fee is needed to go towards looking after the cats and you need to take your shoes off as well. We didn't have a booking but thankfully was able to get in. Would go back again!

All animals were well fed and cared for, although it's a it of a gimmick the animals are not taken advantage of as they are clearly all rescue cats.

The only other time I encountered anything like this was in Amsterdam, on the Puzzenboat. What a fantastic job the cat ladies are doing. My greatest wish is only to see more places like this opening up, combining helping animals and pleasing the human taste buds at the same time with heir delicious array of cakes, and other things to eat and drink. I was elated to see how many people showed interest, and wanted to come in before the cafe even opened. It has made my day to see those happy moggies being looked after. I loved the concept of the cafe, I was unaware of the place and passed it on my arrival in Newcastle on my way to my hotel, I popped in without a booking, but would love to return with a proper booking, well looked after cats and very friendly especially if you have treats to give them!!
