M. S.We had breakfast at the weekend and I cannot give high enough praise!
The food was exceptional (we all had different and delicious breakfasts as well as crepes).
The staff were just outstanding. They engaged with our children and bent over backwards to make our time with them enjoyable. You will be hard pushed to find a friendlier set of staff. The owners were great and their staff really are a credit to them. You get the feeling that they are all so happy at work.
Will definitely be back and soon!
A. A.This place is amazing! The menu is lovely with a huge variation of food and drink! They’re so creative and I’ve honestly never seen the savoury crepe elsewhere. It’s soooo delicious. I highly recommend this cafe, you’ll never regret! I’d recommend that if you feel starving, just come by the cafe as their food portions are large and 🤤

My best friend recommended this place and I think it’s safe to say it was one of the best recommendations! The menu is absolutely massive with such a huge variation of drinks and dishes to choose from, you are completely spoilt for choice!
I ordered the Eggs Florentine in a crepe with smoked salmon, something I’ve never had nor seen anywhere else but it was incredibly delicious and made to perfection! (The only constructive criticism I would give is, please use bigger plates!)
I would highly highly recommend this wonderful cafe, you will not be disappointed.

The 2 stack of American pancakes with strawberry and Nutella were divine, my celiac friend ordered the gluten free banana and Belgian chocolate crepes and both of us have remained full the entire day. E. E.Wide range of savoury galettes and sweet crepes. The size of the American pancakes was a pleasant surprise too. I had the hunters chicken galette and then the banana and Nutella crepe. Both were delicious. The service was excellent and the owner made us feel very welcome too. We saw the afternoon tea too, so we'll be coming back for that soon!!

T. M.I've been to this cafe a fair few times and I really enjoy it. Inside is a little rustic and is a very cosy atmosphere.
The food is great and relatively inexpensive and is on par with chain cafe's in terms of price. The cakes are very nice and I would absolutely recommend getting one
The cafe also puts back into the local community which is a great idea.
The cafe does get pretty busy though so if you want to be in and out, I'd recommend booking. There do seem to be a lot of young kids who go there with parents, so not sure how some people will feel about this.
Would absolutely recommend this cafe and I'll continue to go!

All i will say is the owners were amazing, my friend approched one of the owners Gary to do some find raising for Maggie's without hesitation he said yes. So we turned up today, and all I will say is amazing... The staff were so welcoming, the owners Gary and Mark were fantastic host's who offered myself and my friend tea and coffees on the house. All the staff put there tips into the box.and the owners made a donation also, i can't say thank you enough. You've just got new customers. We ended up raising £124 to go towards Maggie's cancer care. From the bottom of my heart thank you to all of your staff and the owners. I will be massively recommending you to everyone.

Both my wife and I had the American stacked pancakes which was very enjoyable.. My wife swears by the 'Bohemian Raspberry' tea' which I will try one day but I had a coffee. There is a range of coffees, teas and milkshakes for all tastes. . Fast and friendly service and a nice looking establishment and very clean. Recommended for those with a sweet tooth. If you do decide to go, it may be worth booking in advance as it gets very popular.

S. S.I’ve been a returning customer a few times now after finding this place by happy accident. I struggle with a high number of allergies and the manager and staff are absolutely great. Nothing is an inconvenience and the manager is genuinely concerned with accommodating to customers. The person making my sandwich even ran to a nearby shop to get me ingredients that suited me, and management had no problem letting me read ingredients on packaging. This is so refreshing as someone who rarely gets the chance to eat out in fear of being made to feel awkward. The pancakes are amazing and lots of great toppings to choose from, food is timely and coffee tastes fresh and always crafted well. Staff are good listeners to customers and you can see them communicating with each other in such a friendly way as the work, it makes for a welcoming atmosphere and we can’t fault it. Would highly recommend to all groups of visitors!

T.I went to Monsieur crepe cafe on a couple of occasions with my mam & sister in-law the food was delicious I went back again with my children and they loved the crepes & milkshakes with the cakes on the top the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome I also found the place nice and cosy. I will defently be visiting here again. Highly recommend this place for people to go too.

A. A.Nice food. Needs reservation in advance for peace of mind. I do not recognise the names. But there is very lovely man who made me change my first impression that I got when one of the waitress told us there is no table but suddenly allowed someone else to take a table after a bit of negotiation between them like have to leave in around 45 minutes. We were not given this option, as we would love to go for it if we were offered this. But anyway, the man who took our order was nice, understanding. The food is delicious and highly recommend.

G. A.I ordered take out afternoon tea for 12 people for my mums 80th birthday and it was amazing! There were sandwiches, pie, quiche, sausage rolls, 2 scones per person and cake. Even the men in the group struggled to finish it. This was great value for money, absolutely delicious and Marc catered specifically to some of my picky family members dietary requirements. I defy anyone to find fault with the service or the food and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you x

S. L.I have parked the car nearby this cafe a couple of times and fancied going in but didn't have time.
Well, I made time, and it was excellent. Having been to America and had pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, I had to try it out, and it didn't disappoint - just dipping the pancake into the syrup had a lovely bacon flavour without the bacon being on my fork! Yum!
My daughters both love crepes, so they went for them, and a bacon, mozzarella and jalapeno toastie on gluten free bread - all disappeared very quickly!
The service was excellent, gingerbread latte was delicious, as was the vanilla hot chocolate and rhubarb tea - which came with a tiny timer to make sure it was done to perfection before pouring!
We will return very soon..... a most enjoyable afternoon in a lovely atmosphere.

T. W.Visited here today - based on a recommendation for places you can take dogs with you to eat. Food was well priced (£3-£5 per course) £50 between 4 adults and 2 children for two courses and drinks. The food and coffee were well made and presented. We took our two puppies who were given water, treats and fuss from the staff. The waitress was really aware of what the kids required and got their order in with the kitchen while we were still deciding. Staff were friendly and attentive, we never ended up waiting long for anything. I would recommend this place for anyone, especially those with dogs or kids - probably the only exception would be if you didn't like dogs as it seems very popular with dog owners because they are dog friendly.

A. N.Great food and very friendly staff. The menu is fantastic, with lots to choose from. I'd recommend the Grande Breaky if you're having a savoury crepe. The banana and salted caramel if you're having sweet! But there's something for everyone. Great for taking young children too! We have been taking our son since he was 6 months old. There's plenty of toys to keep them entertained and there's a kids menu to keep them fed! Definitely recommend booking in advance, as it's a popular place!
C. B.Lovely food in a cosy atmosphere. Reasonably priced. Not much room for buggies/pushchairs. Only downside was freakshake, I had peanut and son had brownie. It was basically a chocolate milk with too much ice and I got lump of peanut butter on caramel square and son got a piece of brownie. We both agreed we would go back.

Monsieur Crepe is also a reasonable price.
Everything on the menu can be made GLUTEN FREE, which is a nice bonus!!
Unfortunately it can get very busy at lunchtime, so you should book ahead most of the time.

T.As a student of the nearby Heaton Manor School, I sometimes visit. Every time I do visit: since the day they opened, I've been satisfied. There is a great atmosphere unlike anything else. The food is brilliant, with a great variety and excellent effort out into the food. This is a "must visit" place.
