What a welcoming cafe, such friendly and helpful staff. The food is fantastic! Delicious breakfast and most importantly the coffee Is great. Very small cafe with a great atmosphere, hidden gem!
G. S.
Great find! Wonderful staff who all offer a passionate interest in serving great food! My partner is Celiac and the options and information offered was second to none! The bacon jam is a must try 😋
J. C.
Fantastic little brunch cafe in a great location near the quay. The French toast is amazing and their coffee is lovely. Lots of veggie options and oat milk available which is always nice to see. Brilliant service too.
C. T.
Lovely little place not far from the Quay side. Perfect for breakfast or brunch for small groups or singles. The food is delicious and visually stunning, portions generous. We had prawn tempura eggs benedict and scrambled egg with salmon, both with bacon on the side. Good customer service from staff, bursting with recommendations. Couldn't fault it.
M. M.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating and the food to DIE for. The manager/owner was great and really helpful in giving us tips on local places to enjoy a few drinks as we were just in town for the weekend.
T. N.
Was absolutely lovely. Staff are friendly and the food is lush! Is busy but is definitely worth any wait.
S. Z.
Always busy with a queue especially during the weekends which shows how popular this place it, but definitely worth the wait! Staff were super nice, and the food filled us with happiness indeed. Yum yum yum!
J. T.
Haven't been in a while, but that's on me because I've been missing out on some amazing breakfast options. Amazing food, chilled atmosphere and very reasonably priced for the area. Recommend it to anyone, also almost everything is available for take out incase you're in a rush.
V. A.
Lovely spot for a quick brunch! Good variety on the menu, so you’re not stuck with having the same options as in every other cafe.
The prices are also a bit more competitive for the quality of food so overall best brunch spot found yet!
The service is also impeccable, the ladies working were super attentive, speedy and lovely! A refreshing difference form the impersonal service found in other places.
R. M.
Very cute little place and a very sweet woman who served us (didn't get her name, she had a foreign accent). Would recommend the full English well worth the money YUM.
A. L.
Lovely little cafe. The scrabbled tofu and vegan sausages was very nice and spicy.
L. P.
Very friendly staff, great variety on the breakfast menu and yummy food! Definitely recommend 😊
K. K.
Great cafe, friendly staff and I think this is one of the best Full English Breakfast I've ate recently
K. S.
Cute and character cafe under the Tyne bridge just off the Quayside. Delicious breakfast, we had the full English and French toast with maple bacon and avocado. Very tasty. Would highly recommend for an easy breakfast.
J. S.
Very nice little breakfast & coffee shop. Maximum effort put in to customer service with a very polite owner. food quality is really good, only problem I could pick was the sausage in my full English was more of a dinner sausage than a breakfast sausage but overall it was a really good breakfast. Thanks.
J. L.
Really great food and the girls were lovely 🥰👌🏻Perfect brunch location!
J. S.
It was a very busy Sunday morning and whilst pretty chaotic trying to get everyone's orders completed efficiently staff were all lovely and has a nice atmosphere. Food was really good quality and all cooked fresh. Really nice breakfast place.
J. H.
Best breakfast i ever had , very nice staff
S. S.
Splendid cafe tucked under the Tyne Bridge, serving from an extensive menu of excellent food. Lovely owner & colleagues providing friendly, efficient service. Looking forward to calling in again soon
R. W.
Would highly recommend. Amazing duck confit eggs benedict and you can add on extra items onto your dish. Beautiful coffee as well. Good gluten free options. The place is run fantastically by a charismatic lady and all of the staff were very friendly.
A. S.
Amazing breakfast, nice staff. Will be back!
C. D.
4 of us for breakfast.. 2 had the breakfast wrap ,absolutely lush. Others had eggs benidict.. no complaints from any of us...highly recommend .
L. H.
The food here is incredible so too are the staff! They have a excellent range of eggs benedict dishes which I highly recommend! Great for breakfast/brunch/lunch!
P. W.
Fantastic tiny little café that serves all day breakfast. Cappuccino was delicious and the scrambled eggs were too. English breakfast in a pie was truly odd but pleasantly quirky. It was busy but the owner took our details and called us when they had space. Great service.
A. F.
Amazing food. Waitress with glasses was fantastic. The french toast is tasty and good coffee too
K. T.
Pretty, cozy place for brunch, but the bacon and the sausage are inside the pie which I rather have the bacon a bit crispy.
And the APPLE AND ORANGE juice which it says on the menu is fresh but is NOT. For the rest is all good.
A. B.
Fantastic breakfast. Everything was cooked perfectly. We went for the full English with the added extras. Coffee was nice and strong too. The cafe itself is only small but very comfy and relaxed.
J. D.
Really cool location, under the bridge.
Place was small and there was a group of seven of us. Waitress was accommodating and made room for us outside.
Breakfasts were great, coffee was lovely. Staff were lovely and decent prices.
Will be back.

Small, busy cafe near the river that welcomes dogs inside. I usually avoid scrambled eggs when eating out as they are usually overcooked, but they were pretty good here. My wife choose Hebridean eggs; similar to eggs benedict but served with black pudding instead of ham. They were good too. My daughter choice was of brioche French toast was disappointing, however, as she was given brioche rolls instead of toast. The portions here are huge, in particular the English breakfast. I observed plenty of uneaten food returned to the kitchen. But overall pretty decent food and good value for money.
S. G.
Fab breakfast, gets busy at a weekend so be prepared to wait. But it’s definitely worth it excellent menu well executed
N. S.
Well we've definitely found a new favourite!
You start off with a friendly greeting and are handed a menu when you arrive, choose your food and drink and wait for a table. If it's anything like our experience your wait won't be long. The lady who greets you behind the counter, while simultaneously making coffee, pancakes and settling bills is a master of her craft. If she says your table will be 5 minutes you could set your watch by her. I definitely don't want to take anything away from the other staff however, who were very friendly and never stopped!
Our bums had barely touched the seats when our food arrived. One mountainous traditional breakfast and eggs hebredian perfectly presented. I can't say anything other than they absolutely nailed it. I'd love to report clean plates all round, but my breakfast was bigger than me.
We'll certainly be back to sample other things from the menu since breakfast is served all day on a Sunday!
S. v. T.
Wow. That was a great brunch we had at our little table outside (yeah, we were blessed with the shiny blue skies of Newcastle).
Especially the Eggs Benedict with spinach are highly recommended. Good coffee and a friendly crew to boot.
G. G.
Amazing place for a delicious breakfast/brunch. Some interesting variations on eggs benedict like spicy crispy prawn.
Just be aware that there will be a queue to get in on days like Sunday!
D. R.
This is a great brunch spot that is very popular.
My friend was greeted with a mountain of scrambled eggs, which he felt was very good value for money. The crepes are also brilliant. The gluten free options are good, including gluten free bread - unfortunately the avocado I had was rotten so I couldn't eat the rest of it.
Overall I would definitely recommend this place for a quick brunch.
A. M.
I had a bagel and my friend had the eggs Benedict. I was such a huge mistake on my part, as the eggs were unbelievable!!! Would definitely go back just for that! Make sure to sit outside of the weather permits.
A. E.
Loved it! Waited a while to get into here as times before there were que's out the door hahahaha. But yeah place was small but welcoming and the lady behind counter was lovely very helpful. We had eggs Benedict and eggs hibradian
S.
Lovely food, amazing staff
M. C.
Great little cafe. I had the poached eggs on avocado toast (and extra hash browns of course…) and it was delicious!
A. S.
Amazing breakfast! Tasty and fresh made. Had a tiger prawn tempura with benedict egg
H. T.
The Food was absolutely gorgeous and the coffee was delicious, it is also a querky little place and would definitely recommend
P. S.
Had the tempora avocado & bacon bagel and it was amazing! Our waitress was absolutely lovely too🥑
D. D.
Lovely breakfast, customer service was good, but a bit fast paced!
D. C.
Lovely little coffee shop. Great for breakfast and staff were great. Really enjoyed my double breakfast! Homemade granola (banoffee style) and salmon with eggs. If it wasnt a 2 hour train journey each way id visit weekly!
J. L.
Friendly and helpful staff with a great boutique food selection. Enjoyed a delicious Eggs Benedict with over roast bacon and asparagus. A wonderfully cosy little gem.
L. L.
The new healthy breakfast is delicious. Make sure you try it if you are into greens and healthy food. Spinach mixed with basil, broccoli, avocado, goat cheese and soft boiled eggs... I got toast on a side as an add. All together... fantastic!!!!!
Д. Я.
Perfect breakfast. Nice stuff. Cosy atmosphere. I would said "I'm going to visit it again and again" but I'll leave Newcastle this night.
c. t.
First time in here, got the breakfast burrito, so nice. Other half got the French toast, wish I'd got both. So nice. Highly recommend
R. L.
Eggs Montreal best I’ve had. Lovely staff real nice cafe a must try
C. H.
Best breakfast we've had in a long time!We will definitely be going back as soon as we can! 💖
K. B.
Popped in for breakfast this morning. Friendly efficient staff were welcoming and gave us some recommendations. We had a variety of breakfasts. The full English I had was probably one of the best I’ve ever had both in terms of quality and quantity. I had to leave some (which I never do) and was gutted because it was so good. We’ll definitely be back!
C. L.
Popped in for a late breakfast on a friend’s recommendation while visiting town alone. Staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. My coffee was delicious and the breakfast was perfect.
L. S.
What a little Gem. Good is fantastic. Gorgeous little cafe. It’s worth waiting a few minutes for a table.
P. H.
Amazing food! Would recommend the eggs benedict with bacon! Defo bs heading back there soon! Staff were really polite too- especially the waitress!
S. D. C.
Food looked amazing! Sadly we had just had a huge breakfast but we.will be back for some! Amazing coffee and Dutch pancakes though💚💚💚 staff very friendly and welcoming
M. e.
Overall really nice place. The eggs Benedict is a highlight.
So why 3*?:
1. The Orange juice is not fresh, what considering the place and price you pay for it is expected
2. The "the Dutch pancakes" (poffertjes) are really dry out of the microwave. Don't take these.
G. W.
Really delicious food, I had the eggs Benedict with bacon 😋
J. C.
Food, atmosphere and service amazing but toilet needs thorough clean and refurb
K. R.
A great place for breakfast. Prepare to wait for a table, but it is well worth it. Friendly staff, great food.
M. B.
Delicious breakfast, pastries and tea! Lovely location and a great little brunch spot! Will be back!
S. T.
Lovely little place with great service. Food was amazing with big portion sizes.
K.
Takeaway Breakfast wrap was really nice, would be better if forks were given out
F. S.
Friendly & enthusiastic staff, most importantly amazing food!!! Best eggs benedict I've ever had 😊
C. T.
Really decent breakfast and the lady serving us was super nice
N. P.
As always this place serves amazing breakfasts. It's a real little gem on the quay side. This time I had tempura crab eggs Benedict, it was a game changer and would definitely recommend it. This place is a must for breakfast.
C. L.
Really nice little place. Friendly staff and great food!

Brilliant buzzing cafe. We went for breakfast and had a great time. Staff attentive and food fabulous.
K. R.
A great place for breakfast. Prepare to wait for a table, but it is well worth it. Friendly staff, great food.

Quaint little place with charm and ambiance as well as really good coffees and brunch. Try the shared Eggs Benedict mix - good value and so tasty.

Great little find, had breakfast Fri 10th sept and went back Sat 11th. Very friendly staff and lovely food. Will definitely go back the next time I'm in Newcastle.
N. H.
Quite possibly my favourite breakfast/brunch spot in Newcastle. I usually try the different eggs Benedict with a twist or the variations on the specials menu. I've also been with a friend who is vegan, and they were able to provide her with a really tasty alternative too! The food is so delicious and the coffee is good. The staff are always so lovely and friendly too.
J. D. v.
Amazing breakfast Hats off to the chef. Lovely warm friendly staff. Even when short staffed, always smiling and on top of things. Will be back for sure.
D. C.
A warm welcome, lovely atmosphere and an absolutely fantastic breakfast!
T. W.
Best cafe I've ever used not only the food but also the staff are amazing. Can't wait to go back to Newcastle to come back for a brilliant breakfast. Tony and Jack
L. Q.
Amazing food, great, friendly staff.
E. V.
Went for breakfast this morning, the place was full but we got given menus while waiting and were seated quite quickly. I had the roasted butternut squash eggs Benedict, which were really good! The portions could be a bit bigger, but the place is quite cheap so definitely worth a visit!
L. N.
Sitting here now with my second coffee even better than the first... Great little cafe under the fabulous Tyne Bridge a stone throw away from the river. Style and deco - 10 out of 10! With my 16 year old son who had the Eggs Montreal, me the truffle oil scrambled eggs on brioche... It's a place you want to just sit and contemplate... The owner was cool and unphased even with the place fully occupied. I've been away from Newcastle for over 30 years... This place just makes me proud of my home city.
A. C.
Amazing food and fast service
K. N.
Group of 5 went for breakfast.
Absolutely superb one of the best breakfasts I've ever had ! Staff very friendly and helpful a little gem of a find, will definitely be back!
P. C.
Lovely place for brunch in Newcastle. If you are visiting on Sunday expect to queue. Arrive early to avoid disappointment since it's a small place with limited seating. Good coffee and Eggs Benedict with Sausage and Salmon were on point. Recommended! Great service. If you are sitting outside it may take a while though. For any dietary needs please ask any member of staff they are more than happy to help you.
V. B.
This place is great!
Menu full of perfect choices.
Great manager - she is on top of everything, knows what each customer is having at each table, great with people, excellent work ethic.
Great team - our food was always amazing, great service and all round delicious. Also, the coffee they serve is perfect, really good to see people who know how to use a coffee machine properly.
My partner and I were so pleased that we went back for breakfast every day while we were in NCL.
Cannot recommend enough!
A. P.
Delicious breakfast, fast and friendly service
A. B.
Cosy x1000. Egg benny and pancakes made by wizards!
P. F.
Absolute little gem, if the smell of breaky cooking doesnt entice you, then nowt will !
Had the full english with my good lady and gave it 10/10.....
You wont be dissapointed....
P. S.
Just had breakfast - a breakfast burrito - and could not be happier. Big, full of really tasty ingredients and well seasoned. Coffee is nice and there's a good choice of leaf teas too.
This place is really clean. A lot of pride is taken and I like that. Just a brief visit to Newcastle, but I think I got lucky with my choice of breakfast.
M. F.
This is undoubtedly a lovely place to have breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful, my eggs benedict was great and my mug of tea was satisfyingly large. My reasons for not giving 5 stars are it is on the expensive side, and getting a table in the first place nearly always involves a wait. It's so popular there was a queue in the street when I left!
K. B.
Lovely little shop amazing coffee and cake, only disappointment was it shut at 3pm so i missed out on what loojed like an amazing lunch.
C. L.
Really nice little place. Friendly staff and great food!
T. B.
I ate there twice. It was proper food! Amazing breakfast, I had eggs benedict and my friend had the english breakfast, we both loved it. It was enough to us to come back the very next day. The staff was friendly and attentive. I couldn't ask for more.
A. S.
Had an amazing Sunday morning breakfast for two with my other half. My top tip for you all would be to get there early as we were kept waiting for about 30 mins to be seated. However the wait on a cold October Sunday was well worth it. The Eggs Montreal with spinach was delicious. My flat white went down well with it. Definitely recommend if your looking for some amazing cooked breakfast & coffee in a small, cozy cafe.
S. D. B.
Lovely little place with a nice atmosphere and good menu options. Like the loose leaf tea too. Got eggs benedict but it wasn't to my taste. I prefer my eggs runny and there was a taste of vingear running through them which I don't like.
L. R.
The food was nice (we tried the classic eggs benedict, full english, bacon stottie, breakfast burrito and cheese and bacon croissant) but we will not be coming back because of the poor service. It is a small place so there is a wait for tables, which is fine, but the staff seemed flustered and there was no organisation. Some of our party received food after 40 minutes of waiting but two members had to wait an hour for their eggs benedict, which is supposedly the place's speciality. The wait times were far far too long for such simple breakfast items, the service was frantic and forgetful and the food wasn't good enough to put up with this and the cramped environment.
L. H. L.
Our visit was for brunch. I had the skipper while my friends ordered the eggs benedict. All of us enjoyed our food. The waitresses were polite and friendly, contributing to a cosy atmosphere. The food was priced affordable. It all sums up as somewhere we would definitely visit again.
C. D.
Nice and local to the Hilton, I took the suggestion for the avocado and eggs, all tasted good. Extra bonus is the unusual array of teas available, with a nice touch of giving you a timer so it has brewed long enough for pouring. Small pleasant place to have breakfast.
A. S.
One of the best breakfasts we've ever had. The eggs Benedict is wonderful and the option to add hash browns and sausage is just perfect!
A. H.
Me and my friend came in here today for brunch I had the breakfast burrito and my friend had the dippy eggs and chips. We then moved into pancakes and scones . Nice coffee. Will defnintley be coming back . Thanks , very welcoming very good service.
R. R.
Great quirky cafe that serves breakfast all day, would recommend.
A. S.
Very busy and for good reason.
C. M.
It was OK for breakfast a little small to relax
c. r.
A busy but super friendly place for beautifully cooked breakfast. Me and my husband enjoyed Eggs Benedict and Brioche Toast with Bacon and Maple syrup and we weren't disappointed.
The waitress was amazing and friendly (and run off her feet but still managed to cater to all customer needs). I was also pleased to see the chef season her food which is always a plus.
Oh check out the brownies, they're amazing.
Will certainly return.
T. G.
Fantastic find. Tiny place and very busy, so be prepared to queue. We timed it well and got a table straight away but people were patiently waiting outside after we arrived. Service efficient and friendly. Food cooked to order and delicious. Highly recommended.
M. B.
Great place!
E.
Great food and service. Would recommend!
A. S.
One of the best breakfasts we've ever had. The eggs Benedict is wonderful and the option to add hash browns and sausage is just perfect!
J. M.
Had the traditional full English with a latte and glass of orange juice. Couldn't fault any of it, food was lovely and staff were very friendly. One of the nicest breakfasts I've had in a long while.
M. S.
The best breakfast place in all Newcastle!
L. T.
Great staff, amazing coffee and excellent service. The breakfast is superb. All safety guidelines in place due to Covid situation, and the cafe is spotlessly clean.
J. H.
As well as a quaint, chic atmosphere, this family run business puts a great emphasis on customer service, in the respect that you're sure that any and all whim will be taken care of. It goes without saying that the food is of the highest quality, prepared by an incredibly skilled chef and certainly wants this individual to return from the other end of the country for breakfast any day of the week
A. T.
Awesome place for brunch, little wait at times but goes down quick.
R. T.
If this isn't the best place for breakfast in Newcastle, then it must be opposite day. Never have I been somewhere cosy and friendly where the food matches up with amazing taste from local ingredients. Whether you want the Eggs Benedict or the delicious pancakes, its worth the trip to this hidden gem.
A. E.
Fabulous breakfast and coffee. Right near my hotel so will be back tomorrow!
A. A.
Small and very busy, however the service managed very good. Welcomed warmly and the lady behind counter was very polite and told me their special as I was first time there. Good price for the portion and quality. I recommend it without a doubt.
B. P.
Went at breakfast time - great variation of good quality food. Had the full English breakfast and was lovely. Good value for money. Only faults are that the cafe is cramped and customer service could be better.
J.
Great coffees: tried the hot caramel and vanilla coffes that were both sweet, creamy and great! The place itself is small and cozy which makes it a great place to be in to chill and relax or have a cute little date in (haha). The service was good too!
M. R.
Nice food and the staff where quite friendly. It's very well located and the inside looks clean and modern. I would definitely try here for lunch or breakfast.
D. W.
Heard a lot about his place and rarely come into town so bought if give it a try. Cozy place in a good location with a good breakfast menu but lunch menu was a bit limited.
I had a chicken and bacon wrap which was large but very simple and a bit overpriced (£7.95). My wife had a croque monsieur which turned out to just be a toasted ham and cheese sandwich with mustard. If you’re expecting an actual croque monsieur which we were, it’s pretty disappointing. Also it was basically a mustard sandwich. Impossible to taste the rest of the ingredients. To their credit they remade it with half the mustard and it was a pretty good toasted sandwich. My wife also asked for a glass of water and was served a small cheap bottled water for £1.70. No offer of tap water but we could/should have asked. Just odd that the assumption is to serve bottled water in such a situation.
I guess city centre cafes are under a lot of pressure to keep profitable but it felt like poor value.
T. T.
Cosy little cafe with simple yet very tasty food.
R. C.
Great little (very little) cafe on Newcastle quayside. The food is excellent and it is famous for its eggs Benedict causing it to be very busy at times. Being so small it does have a bit of a fatty aroma all the time but you can forgive it that.
S. S.
Delicious breakfast is served here. I recommened the bacon egg benedict.
m. j. g. m.
Great place! I arrived there and it was full, we were 5 people and they prepared a table for us! .. the eggs benedict were amazing and also the pancakes.. the people were very nice! definitely recommended!
B. J.
Absolutely delicious food for breakfast. Tonnes of it too! Coffee was best I've had in ages. Lovely service so friendly.
F. C.
Excellent full breakfast - very savoury mushrooms and delicious bacon and black pudding. Coffee was good too. A bit slow.
J. P.
Fantastic tasty savoury pancakes. Beautifully cooked. Good value. Nice atmosphere. Excellent service. I wish I lived here.
M. C.
Extraordinary. A tiny place with an incredible breakfast menu, among other items. Beautiful food, run by a lovely couple who are really attentive to the customers. Apparently gets very full at peak times with lots of regulars, but definitely worth the wait.
A. B.
This place is wicked and the lady owner is awesome. Great portions and all about the customer! Just what you need after a night on the Toon! You may have to wait for a table though.
A. A.
Quant little cafe, makes nice warm food during the day. Quality is good, prices above average.
Not many places to sit, but this adds to the small style vibe it has going on.
I. M.
Excellent full English breakfast. Really nice friendly staff. Great location just off the quayside. Ate breakfast here twice in two days.
R. A.
Nestled under a viaduct just off Newcastle's quayside, the Quay Ingredient is perfect for a coffee and a quick bite, or a tasty home made cake, with friends. The atmosphere is unhurried, and they were still happy to serve a couple who came in 15mins before closing time on a Sunday afternoon.
The coffee and teas are prepared by people who know what they are doing and have some substance to them.
S. A.
Good food, reasonably priced, everyday cafe
L. D.
Fantastic breakfast probally the best I've had... Also Fantastic service with smily faces... well done Quay Ingredient 👍
R. S.
had a tough choice from the menu but eventually went for the Eggs Benedict with bacon. I wasn't disappointed.
the place is pretty small and people were queuing for tables at the 'bar' the staff were really helpful.
M. O.
Great food. Could sit here all day and work my way thru the menu! Everything looks and smells great. Eggs Benedict highly recommended
I. m.
Fantastic breakfast. Some amazing ideas with food. Expect a short wait on Weekends but well worth the wait. You won't be disappointed.
J. S.
For a delicious home-cooked breakfast to beat a hangover after a night on the toon, you can’t go wrong with Quay Ingredient. You might need to hang around for a table at popular times, but it’s definitely worth waiting for - the full English is to die for, and there’s an extensive range of French toast and eggs benedict if you fancy something a little lighter.
M. L.
First time I've been this morning and have to say its the best place I've had bacon and sausage in the city. I'll definitly be back. Nice clean place and excellent service
M. M.
Beautiful food and great friendly service. Please open up in London
A. A.
Cute cafe good coffee (but for me a little bitter and not smooth)
C.
Food and coffee was amazing, one of the best Cafés in town. It is small and has few seats, so you might be waiting a while if it's a busy time.
M. M.
Great small place. Really good breakfast
C. M.
It was OK for breakfast a little small to relax
L. K. “. T.
It's a busy place (on a Sunday morning) there is quick service and the coffee is very good, the breakfast was mushroom overload for me and a bit too greasy, but it still tasted nice even if I didn't shift the mushroom mountain.
B. R.
The breakfast burrito lives up to its reputation and the coffee is excellent. Overall great food, great atmosphere great value, just right for a Sunday morning after !!
T. R.
Great breakfast place, especially if you're into eggs benedict - too much choice! And excellent service.
W. B.
Small cafe but delicious food and worth the wait in the queue
D. A.
Really nice little cafe with amazing food and coffee. Although it is a little small and sleak, perfect if you're looking for an off-peak morning breakfast or lunch
R. R.
Great quirky cafe that serves breakfast all day, would recommend.
H. D.
Came here for breakfast on Sunday morning - very impressed! It is very popular but the staff did everything to accommodate for us. Food was unreal!!
D. K.
A beautiful small coffee shop with lovely friendly staff. Limited seating but well laid out to maximise the space. A diverse menu to suit all.
S. B.
Second trip to Newcastle, second visit to this cafe. We had eggs benedict and filled croissant. Lovely food nice atmosphere under the bridge.
V. R.
Great little bistro cafe. Eggs Benedict with an array of extras to die for. Very friendly.small but worth waiting to be seated.
N. M.
Being Ceoliac (gluten free) it's tough to find breakfast that's suitable. But Quay Ingredients offer alternatives to all the menu items plus they have a good understanding and it's very very good.
A. C.
Excellent little cafe near the quayside. I've been there a few times and really enjoyed it. I can't think of a better place in the area to have breakfast.
I. W.
Delicious breakfast with top quality ingredients, lovely staff and all topped off with the quirky location;
M. F.
Lovely atmosphere, well made coffee, brilliant food (haggis on toast with fried duck egg). The staff are very personable.
J. G.
Awesome breakfast and brunch... Eggs are awesome and the staff is nice. Only problem is that the place is busy
G. G.
Friendly cosy cafe, lovely cooked breakfast quality ingredients and very tasty. Well worth it, would definitely go again.
I. J.
Very good food , excellent menu , very busy and only a few tables but the lovely staff are very organised so waiting time not long
N. M.
Utterly wonderful brunch. Can't wait to go back to work my way through the menu.
R. A.
Absolutely love it here! Great service and even better food ❤
P. G.
Lovely quirky cafe. Friendly staff. Absolutely fantastic breakfast and good gluten free options.
M. H.
Lovely breakfast but not cheap.Asked for poached eggs but got fried...mix up in the tickets apparently.
L. P.
Cracking little place with properly good food. If you miss the style of place you can find in NYC with great breakfast and lunch options get yourself down the quayside for a treat.
A. A.
Great food. Had a full english on Saturday and it was one of the best i have ever had.
Expect a bit of a wait but believe me its worth it.
D. K.
A wonderful little bustling breakfast bar.
Amazing staff and wonderful food.
Would recommend to everyone.
C. W.
Full English breakfast this Sunday was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Only place to get a good cooked breakfast !!!!
P. S.
Love to give this five stars, but I'm always disappointed when it's full. There just isn't enough seating, and yes I know it's the venue size, but it is a negative

One of the very best. A regular visit every time I visit Newcastle!

(Translated) Amazing! Quite small place, it has about seven tables, I had to queue for like 15 minutes at the door, but more than deserved. Amazing breakfast, very much in the vein of English breakfasts, but at least they have more options than the typical English breakfast and toast with butter and / or jam.
I had some seed toast with avocado, grilled eggs, and a Bacon and cheese croissant. Cappuccino and orange juice. All in acceptable servings. £ 15. Great and fast service, the girls are wonderful.

Alucinante!
