L. A.Classic British cafe. Good selection of food and drink. The prices were more high end but I'm not sure if the good and drink really matched. The food was tasty though and the staff were very friendly.
L.This nice little cafe (mostly filled with locals and regulars) is buzzing with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The food is cooked to order so takes a short while to arrive (if you consider the amount of customers they cater for - the wait isn't very long at all).
It's a little too enclosed for me in the current climate but it's a well managed space with a good turnover.
The breakfasts on offer are pleasantly presented and the staff are friendly and accommodating.

S. H.Just popped in for a quick coffee, whilst on a bike ride. The staff were extremely smiley and very friendly, the loos were very clean. Although I didn't have good, the menu looked wholesome and tasty, and there was plenty of seating, it looked like a lovely venue for a morning brunch or coffee.
A. S.Nice little cafe with good sandwiches. They are made fresh so takes a bit of time. The main let down was the hot chocolate which was basically just milk with a teeny tiny bit of actual cocoa. The service was also not very good but it wasn't bad either. The best way to describe it is there was a general air of indifference amongst the staff.

L. S.A bit of an institution in Jesmond, Willi's does lovely breakfasts, lunches and cakes. The place itself is lovely and the staff are really pleasant.
C. H.We ordered some pancakes to our hotel room and they weren’t great. We rang up the café and the owner went out of his way to get us some fresh ones. He sent a taxi from the cafe to our hotel with new food and little extras like some fresh OJ which was beautiful. Genuinely fantastic customer service, the reason people keep returning to places is because of people like him.

Popular cafe on a saturday morning so be prepared to wait for a table, the barista needs to sharpen up their act as my breakfast turned up 10 minutes before my black coffee did, but we will be back, as the food and coffee are faultless and the atmosphere is friendly despite the occasional side show

Good value too. Staff can sometimes be a little distracted but I guess that's par for the course in a busy establishment. Overall, certainly recommended.

A. K.Came here with friends for Saturday Brunch, which really means ordering from all day breakfast or lunch menu. I had the Special, as I didn't want a large meal. It was a delicious pesto on toast number served with garlicky mushrooms and sauted spinach. Mushroom lovers will adore it. Came with house salad and coleslaw. The space is cozy and unfussy, which I love. Very busy spot it seems, but food arrived quickly for our party of 4.

J. P.I was disappointed with the omelette. An omelette with 3 fillings was essentially a plain dry omelette with a few pieces of bacon, tomato and mushroom placed on top and folded over served with a few spinach leaves.
