Fresh discovery for me! The cafe is situated road side with ample parking. There are great views out over a beautiful nature reserve and the city of Newport.

I love this cafe and the cakes look amazing, regrettably my favourite (Black Forest gateau) wasn’t in stock when I attended with my wife. Instead I had Victoria sponge. Regrettably, the sponge was really stodgy, like a muffin, not light and fluffy as expected. The cream meanwhile was delicious, but the cake so stodgy I couldn’t finish it, even after sharing with my wife. At the price disappointed, the coffee meanwhile was great.

What a wonderful find! Although it has been here for a good few years now, it certainly is a wonderful place to unexpectedly come across. Food, cakes & drinks are of great quality and the cafe itself is warm and inviting. If you’re looking for a welcoming spot to have some food and drink during the winter months, then this is certainly the spot.

When the weather is good its a lovely place to have a coffee and a bite to eat good menu plenty to choose from and friendly staff, loads of seating under cover and out in the open, the views are brill and a safe area if you have the kids with you loads of room for the kids to play around while you catch with some friends and parking is good too 👍.

Stopped off here for a bite to eat after a night shift and it was awesome. The menu has lots of veggie and vegan options and you can chop and change fillings on the panini. I went for the falafel and sweet chilli as well as pancakes. The staff are all really nice and its backdrop is a park. Cost was really good and I would happily come back again.

This place seems to be doing really well for itself, and with good reason. The food and drinks served are absolutely lovely, not to mention their baked good are to die for (their raspberry and white chocolate muffin is a personal favourite of mine). Staff are all lovely, and very welcoming. It's fantastic to see a little business, such as this, thrive.

Perfect little place to get a coffee when on a walk around Allt-Yr-Yn with great views of Newport and surrounding areas. Unfortunately inside of the cafe is not open at present but there is an recently added undercover outside gazebo and artificial grass. Gingerbread Latte was excellent. Will return.

A wonderful takeaway coffee shop that's kept many people sane and connected *outside and safely* during crazy times! Fab selection of drinks, food and cakes. Very often busy but they work fast and it's worth the wait :-) Very often open late, great stop to make to grab a hot chocolate if you're on your way for a winter walk! Highly recommend :-D

Beautiful, scrumptious bacon sandwiches, with a superb coffee. Commanding views of the countryside, and Twmbarlwm in the distance. You can sit and look at the view on the many benches which are parallel to the road and a hedgerow. It can be quite chilly so wrap up warm if it's a windy day

These guys have had a great, safe set up since lockdown and they've not held back any quality of their food or coffee. Get out there for some fresh air and treat yourself here. There are plenty of benches nearby you can safely sit or plop yourself down on the grass in the sun. These guys will sort you out with your coffee and yummy snacks! Their cakes are amazing and the bacon sandwiches are huge! 😋

April 2021 - Well set up outside open air table area with covered ordering hatch, all Covid safe. Food (mainly hot filled rolls & panini) arrived swiftly and was tasty & well presented. Need to book a timeslot for sit down table service, but takeaway available.

Stopped here for a friend's birthday. Really nice coffee had mocha found it a little sickly sweet towards the end but good none the less and top notch cake. Thick and full of flavour but not to rich or sweet how cake should be. Parking is on main road so first come first serve. Nice view of transporter bridge. Cafe in side is cozy but not cramped with a air of class. Will be going back for more
