E. W.There is always good availability of parking, regardless of time of day (I come through the services both during the day and late at night). The toilets are in good working order and usually very clean. The staff are of the services themselves and of the amenities I visit are always very pleasant and helpful, and as a woman usually on my own, with health conditions, I have never felt unsafe or at risk using the these services. (Added again as posted on wrong acct)
M. A.Awesome service station, easy to get off and back on the motorway. Costa, mcdonalds, and a vegan place are the food choices. Tables for eating. Public restrooms with shower as an option available. 2 hour free parking. Arcade/gambling area. ATM machine inside.
K. K. H. K.Clean for quick relaxing on the motorway. Been to the Costa coffee. The post box outside was really nice.
J. P.Not enough plug sockets sit down and work on your laptop as there are around don't work. Found one working in McDonald's that was it. The services is still quite a clean services and the staff of relatively polite so it gets 3 stars from me.
S. V.Located in M1. They have drive through Costa and fuel station outside. Road chef has Costa / McDonald's / Leon / WH Smith / Slot Machines / ATM and Toilets.
It was clean and neat place to stop by.
S. K.I drive far on a Sunday evening just for your services, love Leon (healthy food and great seating), the temperature is just right, the cleaner anti bac'ing tables and seats 👌
Also I notice your toliet are always clean, car park easy access for cars, which many services confuse matters even for pro service drivers 😉 Oh and it's a decent car park, unlike others which get busy as the at entrance is near the front. Although you guys have created a great entrance for cars, go from the back to front, not far, to reduce congestion in car park. You see car entrance straight away to avoid blockages and drivers getting confused 👌
The food stations have been organised well with McDonald's on the end, Costa middle and Leon with its own corner to give adults peace 🤣 It seems to have been thought out well, only thing that lets it down, 2 hours parking. 3 hours like many others would be highly appreciated! I need a proper break like other service stations offer, as by the time I'm in, ate I can't relax, nearly time to go andd..... 1 ply loo paper seriously come on guys, yes even for a no.1 you have to use lots! 🤣 I can't imagine no2 for your customers 😬🤣😢 hence 4 star, sorry but parking is essential in no point of services and I would spend more on food for the additional hour as I'm not in hurry, so you benefit ROI 😉 as for loo roll I'm sure you can get a good price on 2ply, we would use less 😉 it's festive period be generous 🤣

H. W.Was really surprised when I visited here. Roadchef's of old used to be not as good as other services. Was pleased to find that this one was clean, well maintained and felt like a nice place to have a break.
The place as well laid out with clean toilets and plenty of choice of food outlets.
J. V.Much different to my last visit some years ago. It light are well ventilated. A great place to take a break and relax before heading North.
C. L.A lot better now snap is in the roadchef services. Meal voucher is a good thing. Only problem and it's the same in every services is the showers always dirty and soaking floors
