Specialise in cream teas and cakes. Basic hot food on the menu. Scones were excellent, served with Tiptree strawberry jam, the ones in the little jars and the best Rodda's clotted cream in individual portions. The cakes looked good. Our lucher was most welcome, we are visiting in our boat for a few months in Braunston. Definitely going back.

We visited for afternoon tea this afternoon (7 adults, booked in advance). The service was perfect - quick and efficient. The afternoon tea was superb, honestly the best afternoon tea I have ever had. Perfect balance of sweet/savoury - the scones were divine and anything we couldn't quite manage, we brought home with us in a little box. Fantastic experience and we can't wait to return :)

A very beautiful location. An excellent place to stop for a snack only a very few miles off the M1 near Northampton. We had a pot of English Breakfast tea; and some sandwiches - BLT toastie for madame and a Coronation Chicken sarnie for monsieur, all for £22. (April 2022)

Superb food, generous portions and food prices. Lovely ambience (especially with the log burner going in the corner) and friendly owner. The Eggs Royale went down well with my wife, and the ham and eggs was so big I couldn't finish it - delicious!

Stopped for lunch today at the barn cafe for the first time and the food was delicious. I had the BLT and a side of chunky chips, both were lovely. My 3 year old had sausage and chips which he really enjoyed. The service was excellent too and I would definitely recommend a visit. Looking forward to going again

We booked for the Afternoon tea and were glad we did. Nice setting and cosy restaurant with crackling log burner. Food was delicious, beautiful sandwiches, fresh warm quiches, scones and savories. Great cakes, Macarons and sweets. Loved it all😋
