Reviews of Yellow Bourbon Coffee Roasters

Not a coffee connoisseur at all ,but can tell it’s a good coffee by how many people are in/out of the shop, considering it’s in a tiny back street.
The pain au chocolat paistery was one of the best I’ve had.
Very small shop with currently no sitting inside, although there were a couple of benches to sit outside in nice weather.

Nice coffee as usual. Place empty at 1500 on a Monday probably due to sun out.
Trying to email an urgent document to someone and staff member came up and said ‘no laptops allowed! - it’s a social space’ curtly. It might be difficult to socialise with an empty coffee shop.
“Can I read a book then?”
“Sure”.
Ironically, reading a book isn’t sociable either - very strange orders and rules from a coffee shop.
Also no rules on the walls either upstairs saying ‘no laptops’.
.
Won’t be back with a business attitude like that - I would have thought businesses after lockdown would want customers.

Fantastic coffee and very nice cakes also. A must try for good coffee lovers and very friendly staff also. This honestly is one of the most flavoursome and complex (in a good way) coffees I've ever had. My partner also loved it so much that I was bringing her cups of it into the nearby hospital after she gave birth!

Recently moved to the area and Yellow Bourbon did not disappoint. One of the best coffees I have ever had and will definitely be back for more! Lovely members of staff too who had a friendly chat with about the are, i can highly recommend ☕️

This has been my local coffee roasters for the last few years. Their Single Origin coffee is worth a trip on its own. Their staff are always friendly no matter who you see and all have brilliant knowledge and can recommend you different coffees as well as different brew methods based on your tastes.

My go-to roaster for mail-order coffee. The ever-changing range of coffees always provides something new to explore without having so many options that it gets bewildering. The espresso blend is great for milk drinks and the speciality coffees are delicious through a V60. Excellent customer service too!

Excellent coffee, friendly service. The best coffee in Northampton! If you like coffee, why would you go anywhere else? Once you've had a coffee here you will be forever disappointed with what you get elsewhere.

Lovely coffee shop, lots of character and well managed by the owner Steve and the team. The venue is on the smaller side with a few tables upstairs, right next to the coffee roasting machines.
I have been lucky enough to visit many speciality coffee shops in the US, Asia and Australia, and for some reason YBC always comes within my top 3. Enjoying your coffee while they are roasting the beans (the smell is just to die for), in such small venue with so much character… it just creates a lovely and cosy atmosphere, it is heaven for any coffee lover.

Espresso, single orgin and blend were fantastic. Prices a little steep for outside of London and shame I couldn't sit inside but would definitely return.
Next time I'd give the filter a go and avoid the flapjack - overpriced and tasted like something out of B&Q or Wickes drywall section.

First time trying this and was not disappointed. We love our coffee and definitely will be back. Super friendly service and important to support local businesses. Huge selection of coffee beans to take home and experiment with and grinding service available. Thank you!
