Reviews of St. Stephen's Church Cafe

Located in St Stephen's church in the heart of Norwich City, the cafe is great for reasonably priced delicious food which is made onsite. Run by volunteers, profits go into their community support. Depending on the time of day you go, it can be a peaceful, contemplative environment, or a hive of activity with children enjoying playing with the toys provided.

A very peaceful friendly community church, offer a great selection of light bites and cakes. Lovely staff and brilliant community spirit in the heart of the city xx

We stop in for a hot chocolate when we can. Very peaceful time - they are based in the church. They also help out those who've fallen on hard times. Beautiful old church.

Tea, coffee, cakes and pastries at a very competitive price in large and peaceful surroundings. Also tables outside.

Great Café. Would have probably still been in its original format, had it not been for an unfortunate incident, that led to a total reorganisation of the interior. Those who know St Stephens will know of the incident.
Lovely staff, always willing and caring. Delicious sausage rolls and they do Robinson's squash.

Was on a day trip to Norwich, saw this Church with loads of People in and out, so thought I'd have a gander (look for anyone that don't understand Cockney).
Stayed for a Tea and 2 slices Beans on Toast.

Run by volunteers, absolute superb service, friendly, the queue outside the door tells you all you need to know.
Cakes looked great but I wasn't that hungry so didn't indulge.
Everyone inside seemed happy with their purchases.
To those that are slagging this place... You really need take a good look at yourselves.
Maybe do something for your own community.
Next time I'm in Norwich, I would definatley visit here again, even if just for a cup of Tea to support the Service.
Thank you so much.

A model of how a Christian place of worship should meet the needs of a 21st Century community.

Always a favourite of mine. The food is cheap, but good, it's never too busy and there is a nice play area for children.
