A banging place to have breakfast! Highly recommended. I had bacon and maple sauce pancakes along with a latte. The food was perfectly cooked and presented and tasted absolutely lovely! The latte was amazing too. The staff at Ber St Kitchen were extremely professional, polite and accommodating. Will definitely return next time we are in Norwich!

Great food, outstanding service! If you know anything about food, you can tell just by looking at the menu that it has been well-considered. Really impressed with the way they cater to families and individuals alike. When it's busy, it can be a bit of a tight squeeze, but the food is worth it. It seems to me that a lot of time and thought has been given to not just the menu, but the decor and the manner of service. What's stopping me from giving five stars? As I said, space is lacking at busy times, which can be uncomfortable and even unsafe if you're not careful. I'm also quite sure I had trace amounts of egg shell in one of my meals, and one of the tables I sat at could have done with a bit of repair- wedges of paper underneath one of the legs just doesn't cut it. I have confidence, though, that consideration will be given to any small elements that may need improving. In summary, it's a lovely, vibrant, tasty place to eat, and yes, I look forward to returning!

Delicious! Great service from engaged and enthusiastic staff. My smoked haddock brunch was perfect - a huge serving of fish on potatoes and greens with a hollandaise-smothered poached egg. (I skipped the bacon but imagine it’d be a great addition for pork eaters) And the Malteser cheesecake was fab. The bill for my hash, cheesecake and an elderflower drink came to about £17. I didn’t need to eat again today!

This was a birthday breakfast after turning 27! It was genuinely wonderful! Heard good things already but went here and the breakfast was great, the service great and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and decor! Would definitely recommend and there is so many good choices on the menu to come and try, definitely have a few in mind for future visits 🥞 just make sure you bring an appetite and you won't be disappointed!

The Ber Street Kitchen Full English £10.50 After meeting some lads at a cash game of Scrabble in Norwich Brewdog lastnight, I got the lowdown on the cities breakfast scene, and apparently this place 'The Ber Street Kitchen' is ground zero for breakfastgeddon. Let's have a look, shall we? Wallop! What a service from the Ber Street Kitchen'! This is a glorious portion of breakfast excellence. Bacon, Sausage and Eggs, all par for the course, well cooked, good ingredients.. but may I draw your attention to the black pudding bonbons? It's breakfast confectionery of the highest order. These babies were succulent, juicy and ever so slightly sweet - superb! Just like the vine ripened tomato served on the side. Toast AND fried bread you say? Doubling down here on the hashbrowns also which were crisp perfection. They didn't leave mushroom for improvement here and the coffee was excellent. Priced at the high end of the breakfast scale just at the £10 mark, this still represents I believe good value for money as the scale of this meal and variety and quality of ingredients were excellent. The beans could have had a bit longer in the pan, and the sausage wasn't deployed as a breakwater between the eggs and beans - sins I will have to forgive. It's only my first time in Norwich, but I have to say I am in agreement with the locals. This is clearly the best breakfast in Norwich. @brekkybreakdown instagram

Highlight of my trip to norwich was brunch here. Great setting (loved the Harleys outside) but the food was just amazing. Check out the black pudding/bacon ball-things, I have no idea what else was in them but I’ve never tasted anything like them...

This was the best food I've had in Norwich for a long time. I am often left thinking "that was lovely, but there wasn't enough and I'm still hungy" OR "there was loads and I'm stuffed, but it was a bit mediocre". NOT TODAY! The food was delicious, and I had to leave some of the extra bits like chips and coleslaw as I was so full. Will definitely be back as there were so many things on the menu that I want to try, and while I was there watching other people's food being brought out I was suffering food envy (until my order arrived). Visited for a friend's birthday for a Sunday roast and whilst the atmosphere was lovely and the staff was super friendly and attentive, the vegan roast wasn't as inspiring as one would hope. Oh, it was tasty! But it's always a shame when the vegan option is just the vegetarian option, minus one or two components. The food was tasty and they're obviously capable of much more, so I'd be curious what they could come up with if they did add another aspect to the vegan roast. All that said, I will 100% be back because I desperately want to try the Vegan Hash on the normal menu. I've heard great things, and the photos looks excellent!

Great menu, bit disappointed with the experience. Order the hash, asked for hard poached egg and it wasn't. Husband ordered vegan, which came as a huge portion but pretty tasteless. Service felt frantic, no welcome or checking on us, had to ask for our table to be cleared and they didn't think to clean it (still in pandemic restrictions). Could be great, just wasn't for us this time.

Food and efficiency of service excellent. I do have a complaint though. My sister and I were addressed several times as " you guys". A guy sits on top of a bonfire. Customers are sir and madam until the customer deems otherwise. If I had been alone how would I have been addressed Mate! Which I would have accepted as long as it was Mr Mate.

Probably the best full English breakfast I've had in Norwich. Ingredients used were really nice on the whole and the addition of the little pulled ham hock croquettes and homemade black pudding were lovely. My only tiny suggestion would be to improve the quality of the sausages because they weren't as good as the rest of the plate in my opinion but certainly not unpleasant at all. Waiting staff were friendly and attentive.

Just picked up a few Sunday Roasts for me and my parents today. As I went in I was greeted by an enthusiastic smile from the cashier and given my order. Having great customer service in such trying times is an honour. It was one of the best roasts I have ever eaten! Beautiful tender meat, crispy roasties, a huge selection of seasonal vegetables and all the rest! Portion size was fantastic too as I love a big meal! Will definitely be back for more! Food was delicious and good size portion! Would definitely recommend booking as it is fairly busy on a Saturday morning. however the service/atmosphere means I won’t be returning. Two person table squeezed by the front door didn’t allow for social distancing from the constant stream of customers. When this was questioned they were not able to move us even though there were other tables free. They simply edged the table away slightly. Table was barely big enough to fit two meals and drinks on and was very wobbly, knocked food on to the floor because of the squeeze. Music was quite loud to be able to have a decent conversation. Finally, getting to the toilet is again a squeeze because of the layout and does not allow for good social distance/easy access if disabled or pregnant.

Great venue. Very covid safe, with one way system, entrance and exit. Zero confusion on what to do. Efficient and extremely friendly staff, seated promptly as well as order for food and drink. Couldn’t recommend it enough- I had the Vegan Hash for breakfast. My only regret was not taking a photo to show you all, it was extremely delicious. Bursting with flavours! Can tell it was cooked from fresh. Looking forward to returning.

Fantastic broad choices of food. While I chose the burger, which was very nice, I did look at my fellow diners fish meals enviously. Portions are also large. You do need to bring your own alcohol and there's a small corkage fee:I think £4? I will definetely go again. A definite thumbs up from me 👍

What a spot! I've just had Sunday roast there and I just can't rate it highly enough. I know it's not exactly the weather for it but I'm home alone at the moment and my self catering isn't exactly great so I felt the need for something substantial and not between bread. Wow what a treat. A separate serving bowl for the 4 vegetable types because they're want enough room on the huge plate that had another 3 veg (roast carrot, roast parsnip, coliflower cheese, roast and mash potato) plus the generous portion of beef and a large yorkie. All in a thick gravy on a very, very hot plate. Simply stunning.

Ber Street Kitchen has absolutely nailed the balance between quality of food and price. It's not cheap, but it's not outrageously priced. A fair price for absolutely stonking food. Simple, quality menu and perfectly cooked no matter what you order. Portion sizes are spot on too. You won't leave hungry, but you're not leaving half your plate. Spot on.

Amazing! Went there for brunch today and it was amazing! So spoilt for choice but I had the eggs Benedict and the granola. My friend had the vegan hash and they were amazing! Such good portions and well worth the money! I would highly recommend booking as it is a small cafe. They had everything in place to make people feel comfortable (Covid) they wore masks, had a track and trace code (or you could leave your name and phone number). The staff were lovely, making sure everything was okay and giving us time (as we were a bit indecisive). Nothing bad AT ALL to say about our visit. Will definitely come back again!

Been here twice now for a Sunday roast and thoroughly enjoyed it on both occasions. It has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and helpful - it's also VERY dog friendly (offering little roast dinners for dogs too). Most importantly, the roast itself is fantastic - beautifully cooked meat, amazing potatoes, delicious veg (especially the cabbage) and a huge yorkie as well. They also offer a home made dessert but I've been too full to try it as yet! On top of all this, it's very reasonably priced indeed. Highly recommended.

We just spent a lovely time at the Ber Street Kitchen. Really great Earl Grey tea and super coffee and walnut cake. They just opened yesterday but already the place has a good vibe about it. It's a great addition to Ber Street and I hope they're here a long time. We were welcomed on arrival, our food and drink arrived promptly and whilst we chatted with the staff we weren't rushed. All in all we were made to feel very welcome. I'd thoroughly recommend anyone to try this great, new addition to Ber Street.

Incredible food at great prices in an easy to reach location close to the city center. Can walk here within 5 minutes from the main shopping area. Vegan Hash is probably the best restaurant/cafe cooked vegan meal I've had to date - healthy, filling and guilt-free.
