Under a new name since our last visit, we returned today. The interior was clean and bright and welcoming. We found a table and sat down with our 2 large dogs. The server came and took our orders and answered our questions happily. She returned with a dish of treats for our dogs and our order. We all had coffee and Victoria sponge. Both were extremely nice and we intend to return in a couple of days to try their breakfast. Plenty of seating in and out, many parking spaces off road, clean toilets with baby change facilities in one and high chairs. Also some hand made cards and gifts on sale. Our server was very pleasant and helpful.

Dropped in for lunch and chose the full breakfast. As you can see I wasn't disappointed. Good attention by the staff and food arrived pretty quickly. Quite a spacious place and seemed to be very popular. Dog friendly. Child friendly.

A welcome stop after walking. Friendly staff. Dog treats for our little canine friend. Lunch was totally delicious. Husband had a breakfast. I had a winter ploughman's. Would throughly recommend both. Just a pity we didn't have room for cake (but there's always tomorrow).

What a great find. On the Norfolk coast cycle. Perfect place for a refuel. Nice regular coffee Stonking great sandwich and lovely piece ( large) bread pudding just like mum used to make😀 Nice bit of outside seating in the sun. Friendly staff.

Called in with the family for breakfast on bank holiday. Was really busy, but the staff were great and kept us updated whilst we waited. Really glad we did wait as well! The breakfasts we had were a good size based on selection (we had 3 mediums and 1 large), the quality of produce was great and everyone was left well and truly full! Would definitely recommend and will definitely return another day. Wish I had a picture to post but it looked so good just had to tuck straight in.

Visited whilst staying for a 4 day break, we ended up here every day for breakfast. Decent portions and delicious. Our dog loved the free biscuits and it was nice to sit inside with her on the days when the weather was a bit unkind. Plenty of parking and the staff were lovely.

We went a few years back when there were different owners; I'm happy to report that the new owners are just as skilled with a frying pan! Beware the Big Breakfast; you'll not need to eat for the rest of the day! Excellent grub!

Great breakfasts. Good ingredients well cooked (Norfolk smoked bacon is a favourite). New owners have even brightened the interior and are really making this place worth a visit. We'll be back!

Lovely place for a tasty breakfast. Husband had normal breakfast and I had vegetarian one, both well cooked. Coffees were lovely too. Didn't have any room for cake but it looked very tempting. Dogs are welcome

A lovely dog friendly establishment. Had breakfast here and have to say it was very nice indeed. Large portions and cooked perfectly. I opted for full English breakfast and I wasn't disappointed. They cater for people who need to eat gluten free which is always a point scorer for me personally. Staff were lovely very friendly and attentive. Would definately go back again. Highly recommended.

One of the best little cafe's I have been in. Lovely warm welcome when we came in for us and the dog. Beautifully decorated and laid out. Great service and the food and coffee is out of this world! Will definitely be back next time we are this part of the world

Went in on our last day of our long weekend break & wished we had gone in before , such a lovely cafe . The staff were so welcoming, food was excellent & dogs were welcomed & was given a plate of dog biscuits upon arrival which our cocker spaniel Jasper enjoyed. Would highly recommend.

Excellent food and service. Formerly Sugar and Spice, the owners retired and the chef has taken over the business. Same staff, similar menu, and as you would expect chef's creations are still amazing. Table service and takeout. Indoor and outdoor seating. Car parking on site. Dog friendly. Clean toilets. Lunch options, all day breakfast and breakfast sandwiches available from 11:45 with full breakfast menu available before. Last kitchen orders one hour before closing. Coffee, cakes etc available till closing. Gluten free and vegan options.

I felt hungry so settled for the medium breakfast. Stone me . What a whopper . Had to let the belt out a another notch. Nice local cafe/coffee stop. Ok coffee, cake very sweet! Place a little bland (minus a star) but dogs welcome and good car parking but a no cycles sign 🤷‍♂️ (minus another star!)

I visited Watsons last week and I’m sorry to say it’s not a patch on the old Sugar and Spice. I went at around 13.00 to get my favourite Big Breakfast only to find that the breakfast menu is only served until 11.45. The plates have got smaller and the menu is reduced. All of the interesting art and crafts, produced by locals have gone and its now soulless and echoes. The fantastic array of cakes have been replaced with uninspiring factory made sponges. This is now owned by the chef and his wife but this will not be enough to keep the regular customers.
