Everything is always amazing here - they never miss. Most recently I got a giant doughnut cake for a birthday and it was incredible!!!! For sure replacing regular cakes with these every opportunity I get! Update - I have an addiction, I cannot kick my Doughnotts obsession!!!!! The best doughnuts I’ve EVER had! Never had a doughnut I didn’t love from there (and I’ve probably had over 30 doughnuts 😳)! Special shout-out the the secret minis, absolutely love those!!!!

Ordered a vegan birthday doughnut cake, they didn't have any of the toppings I requested and added kitkats and flakes as it was the only option. Making it look like a camp fire stacked around the doughnut. The doughnut cake itself tasted very bread like and dry. It was like layered bread but covered in frosting. Do not recommend the cake the doughnuts are much nicer must use different ingredients for the doughnut cakes.

Wonderful doughnuts with so many vegan options (I had a vegan Chocolate Crunch). They may be slightly pricier than normal doughnuts but they are huge and much better quality. The staff are lovely and genuine, too. Would certainly recommend to all :)

Fantastic little business! Their doughnuts are absolutely amazing and are very reasonably priced for what you're getting. The staff are some of the nicest people and are always really friendly and welcoming. A good selection of vegan options! We tried their Oreo biscoff. Both were very tasty, although there was no filling inside, which could have elevated the "premium" label, especially considering that they are on a pricier side. If I lived in Nottingham I would probably not go too often as they are pricier (£3.30) than doughnuts at most other places. For example, "fancy" doughnuts in Edinburgh (which has quite expensive food scene in general) are under £3.

Went here whilst visiting Nottingham as I've wanted to try it out for a while. Cannot fault the staff, they were so friendly and kind. The doughnuts on the other hand were average. They look incredible, the designs are amazing, but they tasted fairly bland, they were nice, but when you're paying £3 each for a doughnut, it's not that great. Glad I went and tried it, but for £12 for four, I can easily pick up some nicer tasting vegan ones at a supermarket

Just a small doorway leading down to a fantastic coffee and doughnut bar, but a big treat. When we visited half the doughnuts were vegan (nine in total!) and they're spectacular! We had a biscoff, PB J, cinnamon swirl and choc cherry. I honestly don't know how to choose which was best, they're all incredible and very well priced especially as they're a great size. All very, very fresh. I've only given one star less than maximum because they didn't have any non-dairy milk for the coffee although I believe they usually do. For a Saturday morning though that was a shame. It definitely won't put me off coming back again and again though

These guys have the best doughnuts!!! They have awesome coffee too! Store can get quite busy but it's pretty quiet if you go in the evenings. Staff are polite and friendly, the lady at the counter was patient while I rummaged through my bag for my wallet, she even offered me some paper towels as I was soaked from the rain. Top notch doughnuts. I’ve ordered and went in the shop a few times before I made this review to see how they perform in consistency and perform they did! Their doughnuts are so soft, fluffy, thick, flavourful, fresh and satisfying, each and every time. The in store experience is what you would expect, despite it being a small shop, their doughnuts are certainly not. Ordering from them is an equally pleasant experience. We had an doughnut that was out of stock, they attempted to call me to inform me, however, I was unavailable. They gave us a complimentary doughnut in addition to the replacement and it was even better than what we originally ordered.

Great to see an independent place thriving in the centre of Nottingham. With some rustic benches and a woodclad counter this place a definite hipster vibe. A huge range of appetising doughnuts to choose from without the premium price. My only disappointment was the doughnut itself (I had the biscoff one) which had a lot less flavour than I was expecting; it just tasted sweet. The dough lacked texture and was bland. I've obviously been spoilt by the doughnut places in London!

Grab a coffee - take your own cup, to save the environment, though - the simplest doughnut go back upstairs on the square and just watch the world go by while eating and drinking.

They’re the kind of doughnuts where every bite tastes like the flavoured doughnut that you choose. None of that hard icing on top, dry dough on the bottom thing. Why not treat yourself 😉

Very deer for a doughnut, you will only need about half a doughnut per person as they are such a filling doughnut but also very sickly after about 1 and starting the second one, they have wonderful flavours but also names of doughnuts you’ll find quite quirky, they offer BLD which is also a bonus if your looking for a bit of discount but only shaves about 20p off which is a disappointment regarding all the other great discounts is offered with the BLD.

Through recommendations I visited Doughnotts today. OMG! The variety, defo something for everyone's taste. A friendly lady with bright rainbow 🌈 hair, which I had to comment on, it was amazing. She was friendly, polite, helpful and even asked about any allergies. I definitely felt as though I was being looked after. Having never been before I took a little longer to choose, this wasn't even an issue. I will be visiting again, im just glad I don't live in the town centre 🤣. Three members of the family picked the premium range : apple , freddo , millionaire🍩

Had to queue for quite a while to get into the store (as only two customers are allowed in at a time for social distancing). The doughnuts were well worth the wait. They had the doughnuts featured online and some limited edition ones. I was spoilt for choice! I saw these doughnuts on Instagram and wanted to get some ever since. Couple of months later I tried them recently! The customer service was great and the products are well presented but I just wasn't impressed with the overall doughnut. I purchased a donut for myself and my wife £6 for two. They looked delicious!! We shared a sticky toffee and a snicka from a brown paper bag. The taste was ok, but for £3 per donut it just seems overpriced. I wouldn't purchase these again at those prices.

New visit since they moved locations and I have gotta say. This is much better. The vibe is so relaxed and the decor is minimal but it allows you to focus even more on those gorgeous doughnuts! The staff member helping us took his time to explain the doughnuts and what was in them to ensure we were okay for all the ingredients. We never felt rushed or pushed to make our selection. All the staff were lovely and kind. And the doughnuts. Oh, my gosh. They are just stunning. The dough is perfectly cooked and the toppings to die for. Well you might after the huge sugar rush they give you! Amazing and definitely will swing by again.

Been here a couple of times now after hearing about all the hype and I do get it, they sell cool looking doughnuts that taste pretty damn good. They’ve done well because they have got into the crazy looking doughnut trend before everyone else. I give it to you guys, the doughnuts are quality! On the other hand, there are a couple of factors that are a little annoying. The first is the speed of service within the shop, you’ll easily wait 10-15 minutes to get to the counter to order. Secondly, they are on the pricy side compared to other doughnut brands that taste the same. And finally I wish they did a deep fried option as deep fried doughnuts are 100x better than baked ones. If these doughnuts were deep fried and hot, i will have found my heaven but only cold baked ones are on offer and they are just no way as good. Overall, interesting looking doughnuts with great toppings/fillings. The coffee here is great also.

Never thought I would find doughnuts as good as those I had in New York. Well Doughhnotts proved me wrong with proper NY style artisan doughnuts. The level of service is fantastic, the customer in front of me wanted a kitkat doughnut which wasn't on the menu for that day, but they told her if she bought a kit kat and brought it back they would make one for her! I'd like to thank the kind staff at the store today. When I have my daughters I like to take them here as a treat today was the first time since lockdown I've took the girls into town as I had to get them things for starting back to school. it just so happened to be when a group of demonstrations where in progress. This normally wouldnt be an issue my kids have seen these before and its normally ok. we where queueing up outside when things seemed to get bit hostile and police where having to step in my youngest got scared and was very upset we where about to leave but the man on the door invited us in and locked the door behind us and reassured my kids. The staff working behind the counter were really sympathetic and friendly and helped to calm my daughter even offering a doughnut on the house to her. These kind actions have really touched me I've always been a fan of doughnotts and now more so than ever top people, I cant thank you enough 😊.

This review is based on a free sample I got from this shop. I was in Nottingham this week visiting a close friend of mine. Around 3 or 4pm, after we grabbed lunch at Five Guys, we were offered a free sample each from doughnotts. We both loved it. We planned to go right back & buy some before they closed at 5, as we walked to Primark to do some shopping. We got back to doughnotts at 4.30pm but it was already closed. DAMN YOU, KROPOTKIN! I thought... lol. I guess they shut up early as they had sold out of donuts and felt no point baking anymore that day for less than an hour. Still, we were so impressed that when I go back to see her next time, we will be stopping here first! Also, love the name too! Mmmm doughnotts!!

In a small area of town this is a gem to know it exists. At first it has wooden almost Simpson esque doughnuts and didn't look at all appealing but as soon as you get down there the doughnuts look amazing. Yes a little bit pricey but worth it. Tastier than Krispy Kreme and probably not that good for you if you're on a diet, but I'd say you're always allowed to cheat every so often so go give it a try!
