F. m.This place is a proper old school cafe, friendly staff, good basic food,frothy coffee's and great prices. Large breakfast 2 bacon,2 sausage,2 eggs,beans, tomatoes, a slice of buttered bread AND Coffee £4.95. You'd pay that for a cup of poncey coffee anywhere else.

Rare to find these kind of places in the world of pretentious brassieres.

A. P.I have known this place for quite a few years but have not been much recently because there are nearby alternatives that I have come to prefer.
It has its band of loyal customers, who return time and again for it's cheap food and drink served in a friendly informal manner but for me cheapness is not everything and there are things I do not want to compromise on, like decent tinned beans,which are never going to be really expensive and would proper chips eat that far into profits?
I would rather pay a few pence more for better quality but accept that this may not be everyone 's view. The staff are certainly trying to run a good honest business for ordinary people and to that extent they deserve success .
T.Had ham egg and chips literally the best I have ever had eggs where cooked perfectly and not greasy ham was a lovely cut with not too much fat and the chips where lovely not too crispy or soft. Very very good value for money staff where friendly I'll be visiting again and again from now on.
J.Visited here twice now and the food is at a good standard and the staff are very welcoming.
They also have things in place to make Covid secure and keeping people safe.
Will be visiting here again when we can
