Amazing little coffee and potato shop! Bizarre however! I go in after waking past almost daily and it smells wonderful and I get a cup of tea and lunch. Thier tea selection is pretty big. But also I sit down and look at the drinks menu on the table, THEY ARE A COCKTAIL BAR! My mind was blown but 100% recommend going in at least once :)

Friendly staff, good music (although more Venga boys would be ideal) you can’t really go wrong with a jacket potato and cocktail but this place was ideal for my little fussy eater and even better that I could have a drink at the same time!

Me & a friend just fancied a baked potato. Couldn't seem to get one anywhere, so popped in hipo , very small, staff were friendly, very helpful & accommodating, food was nice.

Very happy. I took a vintage double breasted jacket for repairs and adjustments. The jacket needed shortening, the sleeves taking up and an extra button hole sewing on. Owner was clear up front with the costs and they were in line with the price list. She even gave the option to not continue with the work after the price was stated. I cannot comment more on how courteous the member of staff I dealt with was. She even found a seat for my partner to sit in while we were measuring the adjustments. A very friendly woman!! I was contacted about 2 weeks later to be informed that the work had been done and the jacket was ready for collection. Unfortunately I was out of the country and hence I was not able to collect for another 6 weeks. They held the jacket and no extra charges were made. The alterations were as requested and the price was consistent with initially stated.

Leaving a review for hipo coffee, the place is lovely! Coffee and food at a very reasonable price and the staff are friendly, great place to chill for a while.
