A great hour, plenty of cats to be seen and played with. Love carrot cake and drink. Very worth a visit, yes you need to pay to enter but we'll worth it. Definitely worth a visit but book in advance as can get very busy
S. R.
Love this place. Nice food amongst cats, what can I say 😊 took my son for some lunch on his birthday over the Christmas period and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Reasonable prices for food and drinks, though you do pay a welfare charge which goes towards caring for the cats. I love that they're also a rescue place and will find loving homes for cats in need. We've been before and will go again.

One of the best cafes ever. Naturally you have got to be a cat lover.
Spotlessly clean, considering.
Wonderful staff and a great place for cats who will eventually be rehomed,
rescue centre cross cafe.
Worthy cause, yes I am a cat lover!
You can fuss the cats who roam about freely. They have their safe places to go.
On a personal note I would say that this is not a place for young children who I feel can be a bit intimidating to the more nervous cats.

This place was really cute; dining with cats is certainly a unique experience you can’t get at many other places. However, we weren’t aware there was an entrance charge (we happily payed it, but it would have been nice to know beforehand). Furthermore, the food was a let-down. Whilst it looked appetising, the taste was average, and most items were overpriced. The cafe was nice for a one-off experience, but I don’t see myself coming here again.

ATTEND ALL CAT LOVERS, COME HERE!
ITS A HAVEN!
YOU DO NEED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE! This place does not do walk ins.
OMG, what a fantastic experience/restaurant/ cafe.
I absolutely love it!!
Cats cats cats!!!
Staff really friendly and very chatty and of course a huge love of cats.
It's a play ground for cats, all theirs toys and games and cat hide always.
R. W.
Genuinely the best cat café I’ve ever been to. The double door system is well implemented, the cats have so many ledges, walkways and beds to explore and they’re very clearly well looked after. The food tasted amazing and the staff were really friendly and attentive to the allergen process. Definitely coming back again 💓
N. T.
Imaginative and creative platforms, tunnels, beds, walkways and wheel for the cats. Very friendly staff, but service was a bit slow today. The cats are adorable, but more interested in each other or getting into the kitchen.

I had a voucher for an afternoon tea for two. We tried to redeem in the school holidays but they don't accept them out of term time. When we arrived we were told we had to pay an entry fee on top of the voucher. I was not happy as this had cost me more than if we had just turned up. After spending 20 minutes finding the t and c's I showed the lady at the desk who confirmed eventually that I shouldn't of paid to enter. As it was so busy I agreed to speak to the manager at the end for a refund. The cats were well looked after and the layout was great but unfortunately the stress of sorting out the voucher and money had taken the enjoyment out of it.
L. W.
If you are cat lover this is the place for you. Lots of really happy cats just relaxing. Staff are really friendly and very helpful. Food is amazing, Cats are very well looked after and the staff keep the place spotless.

So for two years we have been trying to get into the kitty café for my birthday but COVID has prevented us from doing so. But it was worth the wait! The kitties are absolutely beautiful and well behaved. However one crafty kitty had the cheek to swipe some food off the babies high chair. To the amusement of our kids haha. Even though the café was quite obviously busy the food arrived in a good time and was of a good quality.
My only disappointment would be that the lady next to me got a cat on her lap an I didn't! But that's cats isn't it! The more you want it the less likely you are to get it!
Can't wait to visit again!.

I don't think I've enjoyed myself anywhere as much as I did in this cafe. In our 1 hr we ate some delicious food and spent the rest of the time running around taking photos and stroking as many kitties as possible. I left with a Kitty Café hoodie that is now my prized possession. Food was well priced and well made and the admission price was fair. Thanks for making our last days in Nottingham so lovely!
L. R.
We've had a lovely afternoon at the Kitty Cafe today. When they found out it was my daughter's birthday someone (possibly the owner?) went above and beyond to make it special for her and gave her a cat ear headband which she's delighted with. They were also really accomodating making a couple of changes to the afternoon tea for us too.
A. P.
Lovely cafe ! There is an entrance fee, but the cats inside are definitely worth it. There is a variety of decently priced food. Would definitely come again! Each cat is super friendly, especially the kittens
D. A.
I love the placeee so much! Such cute kitty catsss and the food is also so spot on! Enjoyed my time there! Xx
E. R.
I took my cousin in and she said the experience was amazing little kittens loved us. This is the most best place to relax and have time to chill. I highly recommend. The staff are so calm and happy. One thing I will suggest as you sit in your seat until your order is placed so the staff don't get confused. I felt very welcomed. Thank you to all the waitress and the kitchen for making my food and delivering it. The pepperoni passion is amazing one pizza filled us both up. Thank you again.
S. C.
Cute café with approximately 24 cats mooching about. £6 entry fee for adults, £4 for children which reserves your table for an hour. We only ordered drinks but there's a food menu which featured options for omnivores, veggies and vegans alike.
J.
Beautiful. Food was decently priced and delicious. Staff are super kind and relaxed. £6 entry is reasonable when it goes to rescue cats. All of them were gorgeous; I miss you Baloo ❤
J. F.
Absolutely amazing lovely cats amazing people I could have spent the day here relaxing with the kitties
And food was delicious too ❤
100% would come here again

Well, what an incredible cafe you will absolutely love it, especially if you love cats!
The food was great, we had a table for two, 6 pound welfare cost per person. Which is great to help the little kitty's to be well looked after.
There's about 18 cats that we seen on our trip, be careful of them near your food mind, some are little food bandits who are cheeky. However don't let this put you off, it's how cats are.
Very friendly staff, couldn't do more for us. They really went above and beyond. Especially because my partner is disabled.
Access is disabled friendly and they do have a disabled toilet if you ask politely.
Very value for money with the food. Portion sizes was purrrrrfect. Pardon the pun. ;)
I would pre-book to avoid disappointment and be sure not to be late for your timeslot.
If I could work again personally I would love a job here however I can't because of my own disabilities.
The experience on the whole was amazing, thank you for an amazing visit, we will be sure to come again. Keep up the good work!
D.
Firstly thankyou so much for booking us in at such short notice. Lovely food! As usual! We've never had a bad meal here. The cats are very chill and definitely love the space. Enjoyed watching them run and play with each other with plenty of space to do so. Super staff though there were a few issues. We felt a bit ignored at times especially when we came in. Several staff at the front but not one said hello. None even gave eye contact until we were sent to our seats. Plates weren't taken away after ordering desserts and we weren't checked up on. Only bits and pieces that bothered me but I still keep the 5 stars as this is the first time it's been like this. But maybe check up on staff customer service if more people mention it.
C. B.
Second visit here and lovely as usual. Only given 4 stars as there was a bit of a mix up with our food, but if you love cats then this is the place for you.
L. F. (.
I took my little sister here today to treat her for her birthday. It was super cute and the staff were very friendly.
My only fault with the cafe was that 2 cakes took over 30 minutes to arrive and being sat by the door meant we kept getting crowded by people entering and queuing at reception.
The cats did keep us occupied during the wait so i cant complain too much!
K. J.
Super cute cats and good food/drinks!
We came at a busy time, and the only negative we can think of was kids constantly following the cats after their attention when sometimes they just wanted to snooze 😴
S. A.
The absolute best place in town! Having a favourite cat isn’t really fair because they are all amazing however Charlotte cat has to be up there! The food is pretty good just be prepared to loose some of it to a cat.
S. S.
If you’re a cat owner, you can spot a happy and content cat a mile off and this wonderful cafe is full of them 😻 Highly recommended!
S. I.
Lovely cafe with variety of gorgeous food, and obviously cats & kittens. Would have been better to have more chance at stroking them but thoroughly enjoyed it.
V. B.
Very busy, was £6 per adult to get in for an hour. We had a cream tea and a rocky road cake, tasted lovely. Shall be returning at some point hopefully when it's a bit quieter.
T. L.
Lovely place, and we did see lots of cats, but there were too many people walking around taking photos of them. You only get an hour, and our food took about 45 minutes to arrive. We had booked for 4.45, and by the time we got in, it was almost 5 o'clock. They also did not have any vegan cake, even though it was on the menu. They didn't have margarine either for a plain jacket potato. I would have expected more vegan options from an animal charity.
B. W.
What a great place! This kitty cafe is really big with so much space for the cats to do as they please!
Lofty walkways high up above sofas, tree houses, hidden nooks and tunnels, loads of toys and scratch poles, these kitties are truly spoilt for choice.
The menu is very well selected with full meals as well as little nibbles to choose from, a plethora of drinks and even some merch items should you want a little memento.
Great place with yummy food and so many cats roaming around. Loved it!
A. H.
Really amazing place, lovely decor, great food at reasonable prices! The cats are all well looked after and have plenty of space and toys, they also have an area where people can't go so if they don't want to be near people they can go there instead. I love that all the money goes to helping care for the cats, they all have their own personalities and its clear the staff love and care about them. I would recommend this place to people who love cats and love food.
M. N.
This kitty cafe was by far the best one we have visited. The staff were ultra friendly and couldn't help you enough. The cats were just adorable and so many of them. They all looked so happy and healthy. Definitely one to visit again. Just purrfect.
M. L.
A great café and a lovely environment for the kitties, who are all well-cared for and obviously much loved. 😻
D. H.
Will need to book in advance especially at the weekend but once you're inside you're in for a fab treat, welcoming staff, lovely food at reasonable prices and if you're lucky kitten cuddles! Most of the cats were just happy walking around the cafe and playing. Will be heading back there again when we're next in Nottingham :)
T. M.
This is the best quality restaurant ever. A trip to Nottingham is not complete without seeing peaches and popcorn (the names of some cats) and the food is amazing! The cats are very happy and will mostly all want attention from you. Staff are really polite and the cats probably love it!
It’s pretty hard to find a cat here but there’s always a few to see and rub!
R. g.
First time we have been here , very good staff and I’m a wheelchair user and very good accessibility and also a good size disabled toliet at the back of the cafe food was amazing we had afternoon tea for 2 and we couldn’t finish it the staff were lovely and made time to talk about the cats all the cats wanted to sit in my wheelchair . We had the table for 1 hour but we didn’t feel we had to leave when our time was up And all the merchandise was good value too so what you waiting for it’s a good to destress with the cats amazing time had
L. U.
A really enjoyable well priced meal. Only marred by the £7 cat welfare charge per adult, which I wasn't aware of, as I booked my phone. Apart from that it is a lovely chilled place. The freshly made pizzas are tasty as are the cakes.
R. E.
This place is a haven for cat lovers. Lovely staff and gorgeous furry friends all around you! What lets this place down is the pace at which clients are let in/out of the cafe’, which made me feel slightly uncomfortable and also made the cats stress out. I would highly recommend this place to people who love children: I DO NOT. THIS RUINED MY EXPERIENCE, whilst I felt the cats were terrified of them as they were being chased around the cafe. I suggest the staff should limit the amount of children at once, given that the most important rule of the cafe itself is to make cats feel comfortable and loved.
C. A.
Mixed feelings about this place! The cats looked to be well cared for and a handful seemed perfectly happy being fussed and chilling out. On the other hand a few of the cats looked fairly stressed and really unhappy with how many people were milling about which make you question if they should be there at all. Really not the right place for young children they don't know signs to leave a cat alone meaning cats were getting chased round with little to no supervision from adults. Coffee and cake were nice, staff seemed slightly overwhelmed but not unfriendly. As their not a registered charity I question where the £7.00 per person fee goes?!
C. P.
We had the best time! I didn’t want to leave! The food was lovely and had so many interactions with the cats!
C. C.
I don’t get it why there are so many bad reviews! The place is very nice ,staff very friendly and the idea with rescue cats is amazing! I really had a good time in there, and I would definitely come back!
S.
Friendly staff, good food prices and cute cats. Great value for money. Will be returning.
D. W.
I cannot say enough good things about this cafe. The food was excellent and all the cats are very well looked after and loved. I recommend any cat lover visit the Kitty Cafe. Amazing.
G. M.
Positives: Easy to find, casual atmosphere, nice variety of cats to see and play with.
Neutrals: The food is average and you don’t get a lot for the price.
Negatives: We put in the reservation notes that a member of our party had a specific food allergy, yet we were served food that had the allergy in and no dietary changes were made.
W. R.
Absolutely brilliant time here for my daughters birthday. She is a massive cat lover and had a lovely time. Only grumble is we could do with more sugar for the coffee. I like some sugar with mine and it was a little sparse. Well worth the visit and will return.
E. G.
Butterscotch chai latte was sublime and the food was lovely. Our 2 year old loved seeing all the cats. The setup is great with the cats welfare being top priority
C. F.
This cafe is fantastic to see lots of different cats that are well cared for, we got a friendly visitor who tried to steal some cake...! A great atmosphere and friendly place. However, I'd recommend only having drinks there as the food is very average. I'll definitely be back, but will just try a hot chocolate instead I think. :)
R. L.
I absolutely loved my experience. I travelled up from Essex to Nottingham especially to come see the cats. We visited in the morning which meant the cats were as relaxed as they could be and I adored playing with them. This experience was very much needed after loosing my beloved cat last year
J. B.
Food not brilliant - ordered pizza to be told 45 minutes later they had run out of dough! Spicy wrap just had one chicken tender inside. Cats tend to be fairly disinterested as obviously get plenty of attention. Worth going for the experience but would not go again.
A. B.
Purrrfect to visit, eat and drink with the best company 🐈⬛ 🐈 You can see that cats feel good there. Amazing and very friendly place 😊 Lovely cats 😻
L. M.
This is my third time back at the Cafe - when working in Nottingham, make an effort to support cafe. Very happy hour at end of my working day, staff very friendly too :-)
A. F.
If you are a cat lover this cafe is a delight, and the coffee and cakes are delicious. Staff are friendly and will chat about the furry felines at any opportunity! The only reason I did not give five stars is the fee (towards upkeep and kitty welfare) makes it a bit expensive for me, but otherwise a lovely place to visit.
K. F.
It was wonderful to see so many lovely cats, who appeared very well looked after but the establishment itself was a little shabby. Only one toilet which wasn't very clean and the service was pretty diabolical. We were told when we arrived that we have strictly one hour only in which time we can see the cats, play with the cats, order food and drink and finish it within the allotted time. Our slot was 3.30pm yet we were kept waiting in the enclosed porchway for 10 minutes before being shown to our table. We ordered hot drinks and cake. The drinks came after 15 minutes but no cake. We chased our order with 3 different members of staff at various times but we're greeted with shoulder shrugs. When our hour was up, we went to pay for the drinks and once I explained that we had yet to receive the rest of our order, the girl flippantly said we won't get charged for the cakes. Bad service and personally I think there should be less reservations at any one time as it was incredibly noisy and busy and I'm not sure the cats were totally cool with this. BUT the cats were healthy and had everything they needed.
W. a. P.
We had a really wonderful experience it was very calm and relaxing and the staff were really sweet and we enjoyed hanging out with all the cats especially Portia and ralphie thank you very much for having yours with many kind regards the bibb family xx
J. T.
Loved seeing the cats. I do feel that they don't have enough staff in the kitchen to cover demand, definitely a managerial problem rather then the people that work there. How ever rebel enjoyed the constant attention. Got our coffees after 45 mins and didn't receive the cakes we ordered
J. S.
Love this place!! The cats were adorable. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often. The only thing is the 1 hour slot- I would’ve liked to stay a bit longer. But it’s a great cause and worth the visit if you love cats!
J. W.
The second time we've enjoyed afternoon tea here. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, cats great fun and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Any cat lovers would enjoy and the money goes to helping upkeep of stray cats and other sanctuaries.
L. W.
First time going to the café today, absolutely loved it. It was so nice to see how well the cats are looked after and they seem really happy. The staff are lovely and the food was fantastic. I will definitely be going back 😊
E. T.
It is worthy the visit. Be prepared to wait , it can take a while to get your food because is trendy place but once you are seated is ok as it is as well comfy
L. b.
Me and my son really enjoyed our visit lovely hot chocolate and milkshake nice staff.
E. ?.
so SO much fun! incredible food & very cute cats. 100/10, wish i lived in the area.
A. M.
It's a cafe with 20+ rescue kittens. You're simply a guest in their furry home (with cake and coffee on the menu).
I love the ambience and the feeling knowing you're helping out our feline friends in the process.
Great food, great fluffy company, great place.
M. F.
An amazing array of cats, very playful.
The cats are so well cared for.
The food is far better than expected.Highly recommend their fresh made pizzas, Better than any restaurant pizza I've had.
K. C.
The cats are beautiful and the food was tasty, but there were some bad points: we arrived on time but were told to wait and wander until seated, which took them around ten minutes. Then they came to take our order after a while. The drinks were brought to us after a while, and then we had to wait some more for the food to arrive, which took them a while. I asked twice for a glass of plain water, and the first waitress told me no and to go somewhere over the other section to get it. Confused, I went to investigate and ask another waitress and she told me to give her my table number so she would bring it. The water never arrived. The ladies toilet was a bit dirty. So after finishing out food, which arrived very late, we had to wait again for our cakes to arrive. And when they did, after five minutes, while we were still eating because the service was incredibly slow, we were told to leave. Even after all of that and there were no new customers waiting amd half the cafe clients were leaving, again, no new customers in queue, they made us wait long before sitting us, then made us wait a very long time for our food, but still, were told to leave. The rules about not disturbing the cats are not enforced, I saw kids and even adults bothering them and even trying to get them out of their hiding places. The cafe is not cleaned, there were food pieces on the floor that cats can easily eat. This place is very short staffed, I hope they can hire more people and pay them livable wages and give a better service. Because £7 per person to just enter and then pay the food to get treated like that, I would not recommend it.
N. M.
So cute! Didn't get to interact with the cats too much because it was quite busy with a lot of screaming children. I think the cats were a bit shy/tired of the noisy humans. The brunch was really tasty, but watch out for the paws reaching for your food!
3. M.
Kitty Café is fully wheelchair accessible with disabled toilet. Many beautiful rescue kitties live there and it is well worth a visit. They sell goodies and other memorabilia. They have basic jacket potatoes, paninis and pizza with vegan options. Lots of tea options. They do non vegan afternoon tea. The food really isn't the draw though, it's a happy kitty rescue home
S. W.
Amazing experience, ignore the bad reviews. The staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing seemed like it was too much to ask. The kitties were minding their own business and playing on the floor around us. It was so cute, they're clearly all happy and well looked after with lots of space for them to run around. Besides the cats the food and drink were very nice and very fairly priced! Would deffo recommend this place for people of all ages and all cat lovers!
N. M.
Best place for cat lovers - we visit every time when in Nottingham. Nice food and really good selection of teas.
s. l.
Was my first time visiting, seemed very popular upon arriving. You pay £6 per person which is a welfare charge apparently for the cats and that gives you an hour in the cafe.
We were shown to our table and was about 10 mins before our order was taken. Didn't see many cats around initially those that were tended to avoid human contact, there was one playing with an ice cube and it jumped on a table and started pawing inside an empty glass to get an ice cube out at which point a staff member came and told the person, just knock them down 😳, which I'm pretty sure was in the rules you had to read don't mistreat them, pull them etc.
Seen our drinks come out but got taken elsewhere, they appeared in 10 mins when the server came back and apologised she didn't know who they were for, by the time we had them they were almost cold.
We decided to choose the £12.99 which or whatever it was meal deal which includes meal dessert and drink,(with the welfare charge you pay on the door makes around £32 for 2 people) I was conscious of the time as had already seen staff coming to others telling them their time was up. We did wonder how this worked with people who ordered food.
Our jacket potatoes arrived after 15mins of ordering, no sooner had we started them, our desserts were brought out.
The whole thing feels pretty rushed as if hurry up we need to get the next lot of paying people in.
Cat jumped on our table and again was told to knock off, as an animal lover I do not condone pushing an animal off something.
People seemed to enjoy it, but I wasn't entirely sure on the cats, most seemed disinterested in humans and ran if you put hand out. Some were devouring little bits of food that had fallen on the floor.
Overall it is something that has been ticked off my list, would I return, highly doubtful
C. A.
Loved it, loved it so many beautiful little moggies, some kittens even! Really decent food and nice tea and coffee, they do have an extensive menu on offer and they provide you with a net to cover your food so the cats cant get to it.
G. B.
I went here today with my partner, really nice place and friendly environment. We ate but do feel disappointed with our food and drink. We had two milkshakes and they were warm and the cream was hard, yellow and tasted sour. The cream made the milkshake go all lumpy and at £4.00 each as they charge extra for toppings was just a bit disappointing. The cheesecakes were small and they tasted like shop brought vanilla cheesecakes and then they put their own toppings on them. They did not at all reflect their price at £5.95 each. When we came to paying, two of the workers were bragging in front of us about how they received a £10 tip and then went on to say “You can leave us a tip if you want”. I just feel like this came across as they were money orientated and are forgetting they are running a rescue cat café. You also have to pay a welfare charge of £7.00 per person. In my opinion they are just trying to get as much money out of you as possible.
J. H.
Booked online for 5pm. But arrived at 3 to see if we could come in sooner, unfortunately it was fully booked till 4:30. Lady at the reception did change our booking for 4:30. We returned at 4:10 and they let us in. Which was nice! We was shown to our table and rules explained regarding cats and their safety. Good choice of food and drink.,
x.
Great environment for the kitties, I would recommend the choc mint sponge cake.
K. P.
The cats were cute but they let a large group of children run wild, and the noise was incredibly overwhelming. These kids were harassing the cats and invading everyone's personal space. I'd been looking forward to this for ages but I ended up being extremely overwhelmed.

GIVE ME MORE STARS!
I cannot tell you how much I loved this place!
You will go in thinking you have the most positive MH in the world and still come out feeling 100% better.
Unfortunately we were only in Newcastle for a 24 hour stay and discovered the cafe just in time to squeeze in an hour before we had to leave , but I am so glad we did.
I'm not a MAD cat lady per se, but now I want to open a branch near me in Suffolk!
LOVED IT!!!
M. L.
This was one of the main highlights of Nottingham (Particularly as the castle is closed until 2021 for renovation). Its between the castle and the caves, so worth a stop. There are a good number of cats. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a lot of vertical space for cats to climb and run. I didn't find the cats super affectionate, but that's okay. They did still play with toys. There is a 6 pound entry fee and then you can buy food and drinks. The staff also give you a cage/cover to keep the cats off the food! This was overall a very enjoyable experience and highly recommended!

We made a reservation a week in advance to visit the Kitty Caffe, and I do believe it's the best way to actually have a guaranteed spot in it as it gets so busy.
We arrived early and we were seated quite quickly, there was a little cat already in our seating area which my daughter loved. Very calm, very patient and I believe sleepy too.
You can order food but that is an extra to what you have to pay to stay at the cafe, you pay £7 for an adult and £5 for children. We ordered three wraps that cost me around £23 which accumulated to £42 to visit for only one hour.
I know the money goes to the upkeep of the kitties but I believe that that was a very expensive visit.
You can walk around the café interacting with all of the cats but most are unfazed by you being there. Some of the young ones do show some interest on you or your food but quickly go up their business. Which is mostly near the back doors where I beleive they want to go back to.
The decor is lovely and is cat heavy, there's loads of toys, loads of places for them to climb and sleep.
The visit was mostly for my daughter as she loves animals, she loved it and enjoyed seeing all the cats.
The interaction wasn't great in my opinion, the cats being subjected to people trying to pet them every day might have took a tool on them too. They don't want to be bothered.
E. G.
Great place and would go again, but service was slow, so can't give 5 stars.
R. P.
Beautiful experience. The cats all seem happy and content. Staff friendly and the food and drink is also very nice. Would definitely recommend and visit again x
B. J.
Had the cutest time here! Food was really tasty and it was great spending time with all the kittens. Despite all of the cats around, the cafe was incredibly clean.
L. C.
Great place! The cats are allowed to roam around free so they can sit with you at your table! The only downside is that there is a £7 entry fee for adults & a £4 fee for kids. Would recommend.
S. H.
Absolutely awesome. Everything you'd expect this place to be.
Friendly staff and the cats are plentiful and friendly.
Wasn't a fan of the cake but the wraps and milkshakes were very good indeed and a decent size.
Very happy and can't wait to go again
R. D.
So lovely and calming, the staff were great from the moment we entered to leaving the lady on the front desk was lovely think her name was Hope she was really good with my girls, and the cake was amazing. The cats are so well cared for they were so lovely and calm and I loved the fact my girls could have a wander around and play with them. 😀
D. S.
What a wonderful place. Extremely clean, great staff and the food is amazing too. Definitely worth the trip all the way to Nottingham and defiantly going back again soon.
However You MUST book, we saw at least 12 people turned away in the hour we was there, so don't turn up without booking!
Visit again on 22 March 2022, very cold inside and had to sit and listen to manager berating staff for most of the hour.
C. W.
Enjoyable time in this cafe with cats and reasonable food /drink for the £12.95 set meal. However
- I had to pay a cat wellbeing charge (£7 adult, £5 child) in order to enter the cafe. Nowhere is this mentioned when making an on online booking, which I feel is unacceptable...having to pay an additional £19 for 3 of us to enter was a very unpleasant surprise, and rather spoilt our visit.
- had to wait 45 mins from ordering the food to recieving it...and told we were only allowed to stay in the cafe for 1 hr. As such our meal was very rushed. Such a shame.
S. B.
I absolutely love this place. What can be better than playing with cats of all ages and occasionally having them sleep on your lap :-) Plus excellent coffee and pizza and paninis and cakes and.....yum
N. R.
If you love cats, you should definitely visit this place. Cats are friendly and food is also nice. Entry fee is 6 pounds.
J. R.
Great place to go, love the cats and how the staff promote cay welfare. But when it gets busy service become alittle poor.
But it's a great place to visit.
S. R.
Amazing cat cafe - Best I've been too.
The decor is lovely, very spacious and lots of places for cats to be. The cats can go up on shelves, raised walkways, mounted boxes, cat trees (even an actual moulded tree with tree house!) and more!
All the cats seem well looked after. Some are permanent residents, others will be in line to be adopted out. All shapes, colours and sizes at this cafe! Kittens to adults and over 20 of them!
The food served was really good with a range of savoury and sweet. So much is made in site and comes out looking really good. I had a panini one day and a cheesecake the next (had to go twice if course!) Tables are provided with covers for food as some cats are very interested in it!
Staff were friendly and happy to answer questions about the cafe and the cats.
I would plan a trip back to Nottingham just for this cafe!

Had a great time. Enjoyed kittens and the atmosphere. Very clean and tidy. Friendly staff and even friendlier cats :) fresh and tasty food. Will come back and will visit other cafes. Worth every penny 🙂

In no exaggeration, visiting the Kitty Cafe was the best day of my entire life. There isn't a single negative of my entire experience! The cafe is cosy and comfortable and the cats are extremely well looked after and friendly which I was extremely happy to see as I've heard in othe cat cafes that owners mistreat them, but at the Kitty Cafe, they are well cared for! As for the food, it is absolutely impeccable and the cake is out of this world (by far the best cake I've had in my life!) The service was brilliant too and all the server's were polite and friendly. Thank you so much to everyone at Kitty Cafe for a breathtaking experience and I cannot wait to return!!

We decided to enter in that coffee shop because we love cats and it's true that the place is full of them, about 15 - 20 cats are around tables, sofas and all the local.
To enter you must pay £6 each one, quite expensive, but it's for the cats maintenance. Once in, you can order tea, coffee or any kind of food, not bad. The staff was not friendly, they show some kind prepotency over the customers and at the end they don't give a good service.
Maybe our disappointment came when we realised that the cats were so exhausted about humans attention, so they didn't care when you tried to play with them or caressing them. It is normal, as they are like 10 hours every day with humans so they are tired of them.
Anyway, the idea is good, as the cats seem to be well cared and healthy, which is the most important thing.

It was our first time visit in the cafe. Lovely colourful cozy place to have coffee and cake. Very comfy sofas everywhere, pictures ( of cats ,of course) ,scratching posts... beautiful. Do not recommend for family with very small children as my 2y old was too excited and think scary to cats... in menu available pizza, wraps, paninis and good selections of sponge cakes and cheesecakes. Definitely stop by ;)

Absolutely brilliant! Went for birthday treat. Dont be off put by any bad comments, it was amazing! Even better in reality than lovely photos in google. Friendly relaxed atmosphere, adorable cats from the regal blue to curious moggy, stroking actually encouraged just not picking up. You did have to watch for cats going for food but they easily get message with hand to block the way. Very comfy seats, loved the abundance of sofas. Also lots of cat artwork which we really enjoyed taking in too. Food equally first rate, good helpings, quality (not just thrown together) and good value too for what we got. Favourite was the chocolatey cake. To top it off lots of lovely souvenirs too. Only request is for 100% cotton clothing as daughter can't wear polyester, otherwise would have bought a hoody. Would thoroughily recommend to any cat lover wanting a great time out.

Went here as a post wedding treat. Was clean, and well presented. The cats are clearly well loved and looked after. The staff were amazing too, very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going again 🐱

Would be good for cats and other customers if kids wouldn't chase and scare cats, not mentioning shouting. Also I don't recommend ordering pizza it came with raw dough in the centre. I was told that's the way it's made. It wasn't wet because of ingredients, it was just not cooked properly. But very quickly we received our panini's as replacement, and they were very nice. Cats are absolutely lovely and friendly.

Doing a great job here raising money for looking after Cats until they find new homes. A very pleasant experience with all the lovely cats 🐈 very spacious feel and nice food and drinks. I hear there are psychic events too in the evenings when we get back to usual life 🔮

I absolutely loved it here! Highly recommended for any cat lover! The cats are clearly well kept and looked after, they seem right at home. The place is well kept and very clean, food and drinks were lovely. Will definitely be visiting again.

The entrance was expensive and you couldn't pick up cats. But the cats were soo cute and friendly. They were playful and the staff gave us lots of cat toys to play with cats. The food was good and the coffee was amazing but it was yet again expensive but it was worth it.
S. L.
This cat cafe is also a cat rescue which is very good but it also means it was a little expensive overall as we had to pay a fee to get in as well as pay for food and drinks. We weren't made aware that we had paid £6 each (for adults) for only one hour in the cat cafe. We spent about 40-50 minutes of that waiting for our food order to be done, particularly as one waitress misheard us and had to re-order some of it, and that was after they apparently couldn't find us in the cafe for about 15 minutes (they told us to walk around the cafe while waiting for our table). The food was quite nice but as I said they got the order wrong so we had to wait extra long for food. A word of warning: the wraps come with a cocktail stick in the middle of them apparently to hold the wrap together, but they are not always very visible. My partner bit into it as he did not know it was there and that could have been dangerous to have a cocktail stick lodged in his throat. When we had been there about an hour and a half, and just after we had finished the last bite of food, we were being pressured to leave as someone wanted our table, which wasn't very pleasant. The cats were nice but I would recommend going when the kids are at school during term times or week days as we felt the amount of children running around and chasing the cats was making them very weary and nervous. A lot of the cats avoided being touched or stroked but this is most likely due to them being rescue cats and also how overwhelming the cafe is to them when it was so full of people and noisy. Overall, I think it is a good thing to support your local cat rescues but unfortunately this cafe is a little lacking in the customer service side of things. Perhaps it is a completely different experience to go at less busy times, we wouldn't know (we went on a saturday afternoon). Getting parking nearby is also very difficult, as the nearest parking is the Si Parking lot that has only about 12 spaces and costs about £2 an hour. We were very lucky that someone was just leaving when we arrived so we managed to grab a space. The rest of the parking lots (NCP ones) nearby cost upwards of £4 an hour which we thought was a bit much.

An amazing place, would definitely recommend going if you're an animal lover.
The staff are lovely and helpful and do a great job of making you feel welcome giving you the best service I've received in any cafe.
The place is really clean despite the amount of cats and kittens that are roaming around so no need to worry about hairs in your food or dink
The cats are all well kept and looked after, as well as playful and friendly so it doesn't matter which cat you see they all love a good fuss.
Overall it's a great cause with great service definitely worth the visit

What a fantastic idea to create this cafe. Creating a relaxing place for both cats and guests. Food and staff good too. Highly recommend. All money from entrance fee goes directly towards the upkeep of the cats. All of them looked quite happy to be there and in good health. The decor was also wonderful.
B. R.
First experience of a cat cafe. Feels nicely done with good food, decor, and most importantly attention to the cats and their welfare. Lots of cat furniture and places for them to play out of the way of humans, and they can retreat safely if they're not feeling being sociable (they are cats after all). The bubblegum hot chocolate is better than it sounds/looks
P. G.
The staff were fantastic and the cats were purrfect! Cats are all incredibly well cared for and content, although they are a bit cheeky when you have food. The staff are well practiced at cat wrangling though! The decor is great, it's bright and colourful with loads of hidey holes and walkways for the cats.
Food was excellent and cake was delicious!
I. A. T.
Really nice cafe! Many cats. Old and young. I went on Monday morning. Fairly busy for the time. Kitties are really playful and look happy. I've been to cat cafes before but that was one of the best!
Big space with really nice decoration. Food was super tasty and prices affordable. Cats fee at the entrance reasonable. I got a pizza, a milkshake, a coffee, an oreo cheesecake for desert. I actually had a lot! But with these prices and that atmosphere it's hard to say no. Nice items at their store. RECOMMEND

The second time I have visited and as clean and tidy as ever.
You could forgive someone for wondering if it's going to smell, if it's going to be tidy. Rest assured, the Kitty Café is the tidiest and cleanest cafe I've ever visited.
The food is remarkably good. The cakes, in particular the cheesecakes, are absolutely delicious and made fresh to order.
There are plenty of cats, you'll get plenty of attention in your time there. I was smiling constantly. There's the odd naughty kitty looking for a bite of your food, but they're very well behaved mostly. They're also exceptionally well trained. If you love animals, in particular, Cats, you have to go.
E. N.
If you love cats this place is for you they serve food and beverages.all money raised stays in the kitty cat 😸 cafe all the cats are fostered shellerd cats you can go on their website too adopt foster or sponsor at the kitty cat cafe also come a member sanile Street Nottingham 👍😁👌.

The Kitty Café was just as good as I, and my partner expected. She loves cats and loved to see them prowling across the floor and climbing up the towers. The food and drinks that we ordered arrived in a good amount of time. However I was expecting to get more for the price that was paid, but i did not feel as if it was 'overpriced'. The one thing I do have issue with is the welfare charge. When I initially booked the section where the site mentions the charge is not very prominent. The charge was unexpected and when we arrived, but i understood why the charge was somewhat necessary. I do have another issue as to how much the charge was, £6 is a lot for essentially an entry fee to a cafe. Overall we enjoyed our time at the Kitty Café Nottingham, and I would (and have) recommended it.
P. H. Y.
I loved this place sooooo much!!!!! It's the most amazing place for cat lovers, and the cats seem so happy 😁 the staff were all really polite and chatty too. I had a afternoon cream tea which was lovely and cat fur free. Honestly this is now my favourite place in Nottingham, I can't recommend it highly enough
G. S.
What a great place! Much bigger than I expected - light, bright, colourful & clean. Tasty food, nice coffee and the cats wandering around make it a really unique experience. Animal lovers can't go wrong 😊
D. P.
Very friendly staff and cats, thanks for the delightful time.
E. F.
Me and my boyfriend visited recently with his little sister. The decor was bright and colourful, the food was of a decent standard, and of course the cats were amazing. Heathcliffe himself, was well worth the journey alone. The only sore point is that there were many kids running around and annoying the cats, some of which looked terrified. There has to be a way to maybe enforce the rules more? (For the cats’ well being)
E. W.
School trip to visit the cats. Friendly cats & nice place!

We made a reservation a week in advance to visit the Kitty Caffe, and I do believe it's the best way to actually have a guaranteed spot in it as it gets so busy. …
r. w.
This was the second time of coming here and it was just as lovely. Food was tasty albeit slow to arrive which made us have to leave immediately after eating( 1 hour slot only) staff were very friendly.
t. b.
Very busy but the staff were very helpful and friendly.
It's not the cheapest but the food was very nice and the ultimate hot chocolate is enough to send anyone into a sugar coma.
The money goes to a good use and the house rules are a great idea. The cats seem very happy and well cared for.
M. E.
We needed to book in advance and you only get 1 hr. The cats tried to eat our food off of our plates. It's a cool novelty but not super practical for people who want to enjoy a coffee and relax. My daughter enjoyed herself but I just wanted to chill and enjoy some food and relax. Not for everyone but it's nice that the cats are taken care of. I probably would take my daughter here again because she enjoyed it anyway.
?.
Loved the cats
They were well trained and it was clean
K. P.
I loved it, one of the best cafes!! My favourite cat was truffle who is a small black kitten. For whoever reading this: when you order your food the pizzas and cheesecakes are the best!! 5 star defo!!
F. N.
Wonderful kitty cafe. Cats are soft and very well looked after. If you sit down and eat you will have a couple cats coming to you but they provide a safety net to prevent cats from getting into your food.
It's not really a place to primarily go eat if you're looking for food. Especially since the menu doesn't provide many breakfast specific options. It's mostly pizzas, sandwiches and jackets. But it's a fantastic place to go chill have a drink a little snack and to be comforted by the cats.
Food is overall just ok. I went to share dough balls but arrived cold and very hard.
A. H.
Unusual challenge of a request for an hour max at the table combined with a speed of service that only delivered one course for three diners before we were asked to get going. To make things worse the next diners were no where to be seen (as was our pudding!). Pizza was good though so have some stars please.
J.
A lovely wee spot for lunch the staff we're very nice and friendly food was good and there was lots off cats. Would go back again
N. L.
A great and different experience. I would recommend not getting the drink, main and cake offer because it is difficult to eat it before you have to leave. Instead just have a coffee or something so you can spend your time with the cats instead of hurriedly trying to eat your food!
0.
The cats are beautiful and very well taken care of. They really take care of the hygiene of the place, it doesn't smell like a typical place with cats 😹 The food was nice. I would recommend booking before you go.
R.
This is an interesting place with cats everywhere. It's good for family members and children to visit and play with the cats. The food was okay but there was quite a lot of onions in the wraps and the cheese cake just tasted like cheese (even with flavours). On the other hand, this place is very enjoyable and a good experience. Would recommend.

To cover some issues raised in other reviews....
Our first time here and:
1, Food was really nice (panini).
2, Staff helpful with regards to food/rules/cats.
3, £5 each entry.
4, Staff tell you when you have 15 mins left.
5, Don't disturb cats sleeping. Stroke head and body. Don't pick up. Don't feed them.
6, Your food is your responsibility so cover it up if away from table.
7, You are free to wander about the cafe to interact with the cats.
It's their home, so show respect.
I. N.
this is the perfect place to go to
the cats are so cute
the place has an amazing energy - its so colourful
the people are also really nice
its literally heaven!!
M. A.
The food is really good, the staff are friendly, and the cats are gorgeous, it's just a little expensive. You can have an annual membership to get in, but you need to live nearer to be able to use it to your advantage.
K. B.
Doing great work here! All cats were well looked after. Such a lovely place. The food was lovely and the service was excellent! Absolutely loving all the cat decor also!! Would highly recommend to all cat lovers!!
C. R.
The best place if you are a cat person. The money you spend there (food, drinks, merchandise) go to taking care of the cats. I try and go there every time I go to Nottingham because I love it so much!
L. J.
A must visit for all cat lovers (or even likers). Lovely place, lots of beautiful cats and plenty of places for them to climb, hide or play. Great coffee, great food and cats....what more does anyone need....
A. M.
Made most of the discounted price in August! Absolutely amazing! Food and staff wonderful! Cats adorable and lovely temperment 🐈🐈🥰
K. R.
Nice atmosphere, a great place to take a cat lover for a visit, my friend adored it and I think would have stayed all day, but you only have an hour. There's a welfare charge on entry but it's worth it for the number of cats in the cafe, and they seem really well cared for and happy. I didn't have any food while I was there but I had an really delicious classic butterscotch milkshake.
E. R. R. H.
Amazing! The cats are so cute, and the food is delicious! There are so many things for the cats to play with, and if they want to get away, there are many places where they can go! Fabulous!
A. D.
I would have given it 5 stars if it was not for the screaming children. This is not a good place to bring young children who are not patient or cannot stay still. Cats do not act the same as dogs. If you scream in its face, it will leave. I went there to have a nice, quiet lunch with some visiting friends and some cats, but instead I entered some kindergarten with some cats now and then (I got to touch one because my friend was tall and could lift me up to one of the shelfs where a cat was hoding). Very disappointed in the experience after visiting several such establishments in Japan. They should introduce a 'no-children under 8' policy. (I assume a chlid of 8 or more is well-mannered). My feelings about the fee for one hour arw quite mixed: on one hand, I guess I got to pet some cats, but on the other hand, I would not visit them again anytime soon. However, the food and drinks options are really good and tasty (a bit pricey but it was expected).
L. K.
Amazing place for all cat lovers. A big cafe filled with friendly cats. It's a really unique experience and I'd highly recommend this place to everyone. Personally I was a bit annoyed by all the loud and running kids, but I know there's much that could be done about it. Also the service could be a bit faster and more attentive, but overall I had a great experience.
D. R.
A super place to escape the heat (or rain) of the summer to sit and enjoy a great drink. You can also attempt to enjoy a lovely cream topped cake and their magnetic attraction for the cafe's kittens who will try their damnedest to get around your attempts to defend said cream.
You are free to wander the cafe to say hello to the older cats in there chosen spots across an excellent kitty environment.

The cats seemed very happy and the cafe was really clean considering how many cats there were!!! Would have been nice if our meals had come out together.
V. C.
Wonderful place! They keep rescue cats which you can interact with whilst having a lovely lunch or afternoon tea. Its best to book ahead which can be done online or over the phone. The food selection was really good, with pizzas, wraps, panninis and more. Great selection of cakes as well. Very reasonably priced. You pay £6 donation per person to enter, and food is between £3.95 and £8.95 per item. They also do an offer for £12.95 including any main, any dessert OR side and a drink. They also do afternoon tea selections which are served on little afternoon tea towers. Food was really tasty! Its really clean, with a 5* health rating. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the cats under their care. A truly wonderful place to visit if you love cats!
T. N.
Such a lovely place, book and you get a great experience. Really worth a visit and made all the better knowing it all helps the cats. 100% recommended.
E. C.
Brilliant place. Loads of cats , so friendly. Some sit on your lap, and there's lots of kittens up for playing with a range of toys, and chasing each other! Adorable! Very clean. It's like magic how they keep it so spotless. Great decor; brilliant cat inspired pillows and art work. Food is very nice. Great service. Booking process SO easy. You don't even have to pay anything til you turn up on the day, and they take walk in too, though are very popular so it's best to book. Cats all seem very happy and content, and are not at all nervous around people. They even try to steal your food!! Love it here, so relaxing, staff don't rush you, and the felines make you feel very welcome!
C. B.
Nice one off experience and good to see cats well cared for. Very overpriced though considering it is basically just a cafe.
R. D.
Friendly place and cats are lovely, my 3 years old loved it, just a bit pricey to get in
t. b.
Very busy but the staff were very helpful and friendly.
It's not the cheapest but the food was very nice and the ultimate hot chocolate is enough to send anyone into a sugar coma. …

Cats aren't as excited to see me as I am them, but the place is clean and the staff are friendly. Food is really good value
C. F.
Liked the cafe; quirky decor and cute cats. The food was fairly poor for vegans; selection was abysmal and the vegan jacket potato option came with non-vegan slaw.
Food was at best average and not cheap; plus you have to pay entry.
Summary; if you want to see the cafe and cats go and have a drink in there: Eat elsewhere especially if you have any dietary requirements.
M. R.
Loved the little kitties I really want to take all of them home - the service was a little slow however that was understandable because it was BUSY I suggest coming on a weekday to avoid children scaring the cats otherwise loved it and will deffo come again
F.
After a rocky start due to a late bus and being told we would only get 30 minutes of cat time (sad face) the café truly made our visit special.
They let us have a full hour (we were actually there for longer). The food was lovely. The cats are all beautiful
It is a huge shame that the ladies toilet...just the one....is a bit grotty. I understand that staff are busy but I'm hoping there's a cleaning rota. The sink is awful. Would be great to see a change (maybe another toilet?) next time I go. What is the £7 entry fee paying for?
Great great place for the kitties though.
E. H.
Fantastic place to visit. Friendly staff and even friendlier cats. £7 donation for the charity is well worth it.
S. R.
Friendly staff, friendly cats and surprisingly good food!
R. D.
Absolutely loved it. Been past a few times when visiting Nottingham for the juggling conventions. Finally had chance to go in and it's just awesome. Love the place.
Only criticism is the fridge magnets etc are a little pricey but that doesn't stop me giving 5 stars
A. A. (.
The cats are rescue cats, so majority of them aren’t that friendly, they kept running away, nice experience for kids though, I was concerned that the cats would scratch which one did (Persia) Staff weren’t very welcoming or friendly! or maybe it was my facial expression 😅 I don’t know! Anyhow, hubby was told he can’t order drinks later, have to order everything at once, ordered plain chicken wraps for the kids, but they were spicy, I ended up going to the desk to ask for water (they ran out of bottled water) so gave me tap water! You can walk around the cafe and try and find the cats as they’re all trying to run away lol nice funky decor and play areas for the cats but overall I wouldn’t come again!
D. S.
Lovely environment, perfect if you like to have a cup of tea and a bite to eat in the company of feline friends. The food was ok, but the coffee was fantastic! Fyi entry is £6 person.
D. C.
Really cute place. Anyone who loves cats will love this place. They have got many cats there whom you or your kids can play with.
A. R.
If you like cats you will love kitty cafe. Basically cafe serves snacks and drinks and you get to play with your feline friends. If you are not a cat person probably not for you...
L. S.
Lovely cafe with great service, staff and felines! :) felt very welcome and could see that the cats were well looked after :)
T. S.
Brilliant idea, my girlfriend loves cats and loved this surprise date. Booked a table online with gave us a table for an hour, however we stayed for around 2 hours. However this might not happen during busy periods. There isn't any explanation online regarding the entry fee however from memory it is £7 and goes towards the cats welfare. The staff was very friendly and the cake and coffee was very nice. Again a it expensive but you're paying for the whole experience and the welfare to look after the cats. Many thanks, sure we'll be back.
V. S.
Great experience, lots of car breeds, well looked after.. Food was lovely too
C. B.
The Café was well presented, food service was quick and the quality of the food was very good, however I really disliked the welfare charge that we were made to pay on entry as we were not warned about this when we made our booking and for only two adults visiting we had already forked out £12 before we had even sat down. There were a good number of cats around but none of them were very social, we only managed to find one that generally liked the attention and that was mostly because he was asleep for the majority of our visit. I know that the staff cannot help how the cats behave around guests but this is definitely something to be made aware of if you are looking to visit for the first time and are expecting for the cats to be affectionate as you may be disappointed. Our time at the café was a positive experience overall but I cannot see us returning primarily due to the welfare charge which I think is very extortionate.
L. W.
Very busy but food & service very good. Surrounded by stress free cats it was a delight. Rules set to safeguard hygiene etc
S. B.
Amazing place, almost can't believe it's real! When we went out was £6 per person per hour, went for 2 hours and had a drink, jacket potato and cake for another £10 each. Oddly toppings like tuna mayo are offered, along with milkshakes and other cream-filled cakes and foods. All of which really attract cats to your table, which would be fine... However one other thing to remember is that you cannot pick any cats up, no matter if they're on your table trying to eat the food you've ordered. It's a fun novelty though, probably best if you just go for a cake and coffee. Trying to actually eat lunch can be tough!
L. N.
Love love love it. It's a must for any cat lover. Service and food is fantastic, lots of cats. What more could you want
C. C.
I think here is wonderful and it’s a lovely place where cats are well cared for. I’ve been a few times with my children and they love it. Food and drink is amazing too. (My husband suggested a litter tray be put near each table to make it seem more authentic and like our home) The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because I didn’t think much to the rowdy children’s birthday party going on at the next table. Not only were these children (around 8 children around age 8) noisey and running around like crazy they were scaring the cats with their big balloons - the parent leading the party had zero control over them and they were screaming and terrorising the cats pulling on their tails, chasing them and stroking them the wrong way, it’s clear these children didn’t know how to behave around cats! even a staff member told them to calm down and it was too noisey (which they didn’t!) thankfully they left and the cats then decided to come out of their hiding holes. I don’t think big group partying with kids is good for some of these nervous kitties. But am not against children attending, my children, and many other children in the setting were behaving appropriately around the cats.
S. B.
A lovely café with great food and nice animals. I really enjoyed my time at the kitty café. The food was lovely and I got to meet all their lovely cats.
However it was quite busy and felt crowded. If the space was either bigger with less people or less people in the space it would have been more comfortable.
M.
Absolutely love the cat cafe, brilliant for all ages, great date idea or just fun outing. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great variety of food and drink, with covers so the cats cant get at anything. Great fun! Only problem is it can get quite busy and some of the cats like to hide away but other than that, fab!
M.
Really nice and clean place! Amazingly designed for the cats with enough toys and things to keep them entertained and also a lot of cosy places they can use to relax. Great service and super comfy sofas that you can relax in. Would definitely go again!
G. W.
Service was poor. We was told it was table service and that we had the table for an hour. Our order wasn't taken until 35 mins after arriving and the food didn't come until we had been there for 50 mins. While waiting to be served some staff gave eye contact but walked the other way, served other people before us when we were first and sometimes chatting to what looked like their friends. Luckily they said we could stay longer. Waited another 20 mins for pudding.
Cats themselves were lovely, playful and enjoyable to be around. We could walk around and play with them. I loved the cat cafe experience but will be going to a different one next time, where hopefully the staff are more attentive.
N. P.
An amazing cat cafe!!! So many gorgeous cats who are all obviously well taken care of and in beautiful condition. The cafe is perfectly laid out for all the cats with loads of climbing places, snug hidey holes and things to play with. The staff are lovely and very welcoming and friendly. Entry is just £6 and there is a brilliant selection for food at a very good price. Their kitty cocktails are also amazing! Definitely a must for any cat lovers.
N. S.
Went in on the off chance, heard great reviews...sadly so had everyone else. It was really busy due to school holidays. If you choose to go, book in advance.
And apparently, you don't get to keep a cat afterwards!! Although, they are linked to cat rescue so proper adoption might be ok.
S. H.
An absolute lovely lunch. The staff were very nice and the food was as well. The lemon cheese cake was one of the best I had in a café . First we didnt notice any cats but all of a sudden we saw them everywhere 😊 it is all on the cats terms, as it should be, but we got quite a few little friendly visitors escp Pocus and one decided to have a nap next to me.we also had a walk around to say hello to more cats. I might add, in case anyone wonder, it is very clean so extra credit to the staff for that. We will def be back! ps prob not a place to bring a toddler or too lively kids, I think it would be a stressful experience and not much time to sit down.
A. L.
Loved seeing the cats. However, being told that our time was up, and we had to check out, whilst we were still eating was unbelievable! I was aware that they give 60min time slots, but when you've got a family of four and all having the meal deals it really wasn't enough time. Apart from the fact, we didn't get our desserts until 10min before we had to leave! The waiters/waitress need to learn to smile too! Apart the trainee, she was really lovely, but most of the others looked stressed and miserable. The food was Ok! Standard cafe food, nothing to shout about. Definitely worth going for the cats, but nothing else unfortunately.

Just pure joy. Felt very ethically good, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful cats
M. L.
All adorable Cats and Kittens 😊 Friendly staff Nice food. Will be visiting again
K. B.
What a wonderful time! All the cats are so lovely and friendly and the staff are fantastic. Food and drink it's great too!
N. L.
Amazing place for both kids and adults, relaxed atmosphere, tasty food, kind personal and of course main characters of the place cats bring you joy for the rest of the day!Highly recommended not only for cat lovers ☺️
I. K.
Love them and love their cats. Nice place even to have a meal. My fav are potato wedges, all pizzas and jacked potato.
S. u.
cats were great and so was a young waitress until "hope" came over completely shattered her confidence infront of us and made her cry completely unacceptable and toxic behaviour towards a staff member who was trying her best to take our order also something should be mentioned about all the dirty looks she gives to fellow staff members the cafe and the cats are great but whole experience was ruined by hope
m.
lovely staff and lovely cats!! food is also great 😃😃
P. J.
Been here few times now nice relaxing place very chilled out cats just walk round see what you got for dinner if you don't keep your eyes on your dinner cats will try too take it very crafty staff friendly and helpful prices are not over the top every thing cooked nice and fresh love this place will visit again
S. B.
Feel very good when you sit here
L. H.
What an amazing place! Staff were lovely and all of the kitty's were just adorable. A little expensive but really worth it if you love cats!
E. G.
We made a reservation but got there a little early but it wasn’t an issue. Really cute cats and you can walk around and get lots of pets
D. S.
Lots of beautiful cats who seem well cared for. Cats can escape the humans when they want to and the friendly staff keep an eye on things to make sure the cats are respected by customers.
Table service.
Coffee was good.
J. T.
A nice place to visit for the unique experience. Perhaps a one trick pony however the cats are not forced to interact which was nice for their wellbeing. A good variety of cats with amazing pathways for them to wander and large array of cat toys for good interaction.
P. L.
Amazing place if you love cats and I think even if you don't. Cats were adorable - careful when you eat as cats seem to like pizza too! Staff are friendly and know so much about all the cats.
E. H.
Kind, friendly staff and adorable kitties! There were some tiny kittens there when we visited as well as lots of adult cats. The drinks we had were nice and there were lots of built in structures for the cats to play on and toys to interact with them.
K. F.
If you are a cat person, then this is THE place for you. Even if you are not (like me) it is a fun place to check out. They serve food as well, but you honestly would mainly come here for the feline experience. Be sure to read the Adult Rules on their website first. Best thing is they serve as a rehoming center for lost cats - so you might leave with a new pet!
S. M.
such a lovely place, kind staff and adorable cats, me and my friends spent over an hour chilling and petting cats
S. R.
Was so excited and the place was lovely however they were slow at bringing food out but quick to say your time has ran out so no pudding. We was not aware of time limit.
L. S. (.
Amazing atmosphere, tasty food and a lot of playful kitties. We drove 3 hours (London) to pet the cats, but it was absolutely worth it! Definitely gonna be back soon.
M. H.
This place is always magical. Staff are delightful and the kitties are such happy, socialised beans. The food is great too - the kittens seem particularly fond of cheesecake so some vigilance may be needed! All parts of the cafe are wheelchair accessible, and there are so many cats. So many! Including Heathcliffe, the gentlest ginger giant. I only wish we had a cafe like this in Brighton.
B. S.
Loved the experience in the Kitty cafe, so nice to see all the cats there too. They were so nice and friendly and the fact they rehome them too was even nice! Good experience and would definitely go back!
M. P.
Entry cost 6 pounds per person. You can stay only 1 hour. Nice place for people which like cats.
P. W.
Nice place. Child friendly. But cats get a bit standoffish because of the amount of people.
r. w.
This was the second time of coming here and it was just as lovely. Food was tasty albeit slow to arrive which made us have to leave immediately after eating( 1 hour slot only) staff were very friendly.
M. M.
Interesting place to visit if you a cat lover like me always new cats around as this place rehomes cats now again lovely food as well you can eat and play with the cats at the same time I just loved it.
J. G.
Quite expensive, you have to pay to go in and you are only allowed 1 hour, food is mainly wraps, pizza or Jacket Potatoes, lots of Cats running around which I love but would think twice about going back.
M. G.
Amazing staff bit of a night mare when your eating but what do you expect really, food was good, drinks where good, staff very friendly and cats where awesome here's just a few photos the £6 pp is a little bit much is what I first thought but understandable as this is a rescue center they have turned into a cafe and the cats need food water and shelter so that's what the £6 pp is paying for
m. g.
Absolutely loved it here! Staff are super friendly and the kitties are adorable
G. J.
Being a cat lover this was a must to visit, excellent array of cats and the food was very good and quite filling but there is an overriding smell of cats that said I will be visiting again.
S. R.
What a lovely lunch experience. Obviously cats can be stand of fish. They have people all day trying to play with them. But if you are chilled some will come to you. Lovely to see so many rescue cats doing so.well.
j. k.
Lovely little cafe, the staff were very helpful from taking your order to bringing your food to your table. The cats are very friendly and some even come to join you for a fuss especially when your food arrives.
m. m.
Purrfect place for a coffee, cake and cuddle. Only problem was a child that chased the cats every time staff were busy elsewhere.
A. T.
When you enter you have to pay a fee of £6 per person. This was to maintain the upkeep of the cats. However, the service fee is not mentioned on the website when booking the table. We had a look around as the table wasn't quite ready as we were early. The staff were very friendly and explained about the cats and informed us of their names. The restaurant was very unique with high-level platforms for the cats to travel and you can play with the cats with toys that are dotted around the areas. A staff member came and found us and showed us to our table where they described what was on the menu and left us for a short time to decide. They took our order promptly and accurately and soon we had our food. They serve hot and cold lunch meals like jacket potatoes, sandwiches to name a few. Prices were reasonable. After 2 hours we were told that we needed to vacate the table for the next people but could stay in the restaurant to play with the cats more. The onsite toilet facilities were very clean and maintained. You will need to use one of the nearby multi-storey car parks as there is no onsite carpark. The car park we used was only a 5 minute walk away, so not too bad.
J. H.
Sharing coffee with cats! Love the vibrant yet peaceful atmosphere, there are some timid and then definitely not timid cats here, watch out for the confident ham thief😂. Loved the experience with my youngest two children, made a nice change and we will visit again.
Was a little shocked we had to pay a welfare charge on entry as hadn't seen that on the web page but all costs were reasonable, next time we'll try and book an hour slot because although service was quick and excellent, we would have like a little longer than an hour. 🐈🍕☕🍰
l. d.
So cute!! Loads of cute fluffy kitties. Good menu& the food is really good quality. I want to go everyday 😍😭!
L. A.
We all enjoyed ourselves here. Only downside was its a bit crowded in the middle of the day. Look out for Heathcliff. He's the biggest cat I've ever seen!
E. R.
The experience here was amazing! The cats were roaming around and they are all different breeds and are adorable. The food here was stunning and delicious! Overall, I really recommend this cat cafe!
0. H.
Great place, food is nice, and plenty of cats to keep enthusiasts content. Will go again.
Hourly rate is 6 quid.
J. C.
My 14 year old daughter LOVED this place. We came from Malta to go (well sort of). The staff are wonderful and it's much much better than I expected. We'll worth a visit! If you love cats, then you must go.
L. B.
Order was initially wrong and tried to charge us (quickly resolved i must admit)
Difficult to eat ordered food on a low sofa but it was still cosy
L. A.
The best cat cafe i ever visited. Good food cheap cover charge and lots of fun
M. R.
I loved it at Kitty cafe the pizza's were yummy, the cats were playful and cute and the staff were lovely too. Look out for the humongous cat that sits in the window 🐱
J. H.
Food is great and staff were really friendly, but can't in good consciousness give it a higher review due to how distressed many of the cats seemed. Could be different when not during school holidays, but children ran amok herding cats and cornering them when they clearly didn't want to play anymore. Was quite upsetting to watch, and given how busy the cafe was staff didn't seem to have the time to intervene on the cats behalf.
C. S.
The kids had wanted to visit the Kitty Cafe for ages so we finally got round to taking them one Sunday lunchtime. For our family of 4, we paid £20 in welfare charges before we'd even sat down to look at the menu. We were given a nice looking corner sofa, which was comfortable but not entirely practical to eat from. We each had a 'meal deal', which was £10 each and included a main (sandwich, panini, pizza, etc), a drink and a cake. I asked for food covers but we were only given one between the four of us. None of the cats approached us and none seemed to want to play, so it fast turned into a £60 lunch to look at some cats from afar! Other children were racing around all over the place while I was keen to make sure mine followed the extensive 'rules' given as you enter. The kids were pleased we'd gone but I don't think we'll return. I really wanted to love it, but sadly I just didn't.
B. A.
You've got to think of the Kitty Cafe as a cafe that just so happens to have cats. Obviously, Cats do what they like and they mainly stay in hideouts dotted around the space or near the kitchen door. So not much interaction is to be had unless they take a shine to your food. Adults pay a £6 per head welfare charge before you sit down, which is a bit steep considering the food prices aren't exactly cheap. The cafe was busy when we went and the few cats that were friendly soon got out of people's reach as some visitors didn't understand the concept of sharing.
S.
It's a cafe..full of adorable cats, complete with the added bonus of enjoying food. Plenty of cats to see. Make sure to have an accomplice with you to drag you out, because you will likely not want to leave this place.
B. H.
Great place, my 6 year old loved it as he loves cats, food was great, customer service was 100% and definitely will be coming back.
Thank you
B. R.
The staff was super friendly and the fees are acceptable.
The food was all really good and tasty and the environment was cuddly and warm.
The cats are very friendly (when you can find them, sometimes finding a cat is like finding a needle in a haystack, but I don't blame them!)
Overall an amazing experience, would repeat again and recconemd!
G. B.
Amazing afternoon out with the kids. It's amazing when they rattle the bag of dreamies and the number of cats you have seen so far doubles in seconds xx
N. G.
The staff are great, its just a lovely experience especially for cat lovers. Have been a few times, this time the cats had treats and we were encouraged to get involved and give them the treats.
S. E.
The staff were excellent, the cats were typically aloof lol.
The cafe was clean and the cats were very well looked after, you could tell the staff cared I liked that they had a welfare person wandering around to keep an eye on things.
The hot chocolate was lovely but I think basic drinks should have been included in the price.
Loved the merch.
M. S.
Took my daughter for lunch here we both love cats and we had a great experience, the staff were friendly and work really hard, my daughter decided this Is her dream job now when she leaves school!!
We had so much fun and the cats were so cute...
Only advice I would give is that small children have to stay with their parents as everytime a cat came to our table a small child would chase them away she was doing this to everyone while the parents sat on their own table ignoring her, I don't blame the staff for this at all I did hear them saying to her not to chase them away but she carried on so maybe its a rule the owners could consider as I've seen in others reviews this is an ongoing problem and it did make me start to get frustrated as as soon as a cat came to my daughter at our table she ran and tried to grab the cat so put abit of a downer on that however I would still go again and the staff made our visit great telling us about some of the cats and their stories, so would definitely recommend.
C. K.
Very interesting experience :) lots of lovely cats and nice selection of food and drinks :)
C. B.
Enjoyable atmosphere for cat lovers, as you pay by the hour to be there if going for food and food service taking 45 minutes it is a rush to eat anything more than coffee and cake unless you book for a second hour as they are too busy to extend at the end of your time. Food was nice, milkshakes a bit of a disappointment.
T. S.
Wonderful place. Beautiful afternoon tea. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Cats are so full of character. Looking forward to the Leicester branch to open soon.
P. S.
Very well run. The admission charge (welfare charge for the moggies) took me by surprise but is understandable. Very well run. Laid back cats.
A. M.
Lovely couple of hours drinking tea, eating lunch & watching the beautiful well looked after cats playing and chilling.
S. T.
Such a lovely place, very beautiful and friendly cats! Loved the service too!! A place to cherish and feel cozy with.
O. T.
Really lovely place, very clean and quiet with lovely cats, it's a shame you only get an hour because we would happily of stayed all day! We got especially friendly with Baloo. Would recommend, be aware you MUST book!
S. W.
Lovely idea and a very nice space just a shame some parents think its fine to let their children run around terrorising the poor cats. Every time they tried to settle they would be charged at by unaccompanied kids which ruins the atmosphere. I feel for the staff. We will try to return when we are next in Nottingham.
J. G.
Fabulous place to visit with or without children. Very clean. Food great. I love trying the different teas.
C. H.
Despite the tills being down& cash only on our visit. It was lovely to spend some time amongst felines, who wandered around the 2levels. Please remember there is a £6 per diner additional charge to help keep the cats fed& healthy.
The coffee is good& the food a nice tex-mex influence.
L. L.
First cafe in Nottingham with rescued and adopted cats roaming around
People can adopt them if they want. Lots of places for cats to roam, lots of hide always ,ceiling walks discussed as trees
C. W.
Food is great and the whole experience is calm and relaxed. Staff are lovely and open to chat about the cats in their care. Plenty of cats roaming around to watch play and stroke, right in the centre of Nottingham.
T. B.
It was okay. Service was super slow, I had ask a few times for our order to taken and it wasn’t even busy. The staff were a bit meh. The drinks were good though! Most of the cats were asleep for majority of the time but were cute !
J. S.
A Haven for cats and catlovers alike. Nicely decorated with comfortable furniture, filled with adorable cats (mostly kittens) their toys, catwalks, and castles. The kitchen offers a nice menu of comfort food. The rhubarb cake was delicious!
J. h.
Kitty paradise, excellent place for cat lovers and there's cake too! Would recommend that you book online
S. E.
Cats were brilliant. Cafe was a bit smelly and service was slow.
M. Ņ.
Great place to go if you love cats and also want to enjoy a nice food, nice and enjoyable place
S. G.
My first time here and I just loved it. If you love cats then you must go 🐈🐈🐈
A. M.
Amazing time with great staff and furry friends. Good food andnservice in a comfortable setting

COVID TIMES REVIEW: reality does not meet expectation.
Expectation - cats are loving and affectionate, they come cuddle you before you get your food and then get led away while you eat. You watch them playing and being all cute and stuff.
Reality - the only cat that was interested was a black and white one that just wanted to steal the ice cubes from my drink. The fiend scratched me in multiple places, knocked my drink off the table (luckily it was empty) and I had to eat with my plate practically up to my chin.
You had to pay a fee just to sit in there before you ordered anything, to go to their cat charity.
The three stars are mainly due to the friendly staff. But was it worth it? Nope.
Solution: go out onto a street brimming with cats with some food for you and for them (technically free) and you have your own cat cafe.
s. n.
Yesterday was a treat visit to the Kitty Cafe. 2 seniors, 1 adult, 2 teenagers... we lall oved it! Comfy corner settee to enjoy our lunch and time to pet the cats, especially Johnny who was big and beautiful and loved attention! Yes, we'd like to have stayed longer than the alloted hour, but the booking system meant everyone gets to enjoy this super happy place.
R. A.
Staff is very attentive and friendly. It is a very unique experience, especially if you don’t have any pets.
c. b.
Although yes, cat don't directly come to you, I have found the cats to be sweet, gentle and playful when you come to them. Food was great and the atmosphere as well. Had a really good time and the animals look well looked after which is the essential to me.
g.
Love the cats, very unique touch but lacking customer service. The starry eyed, brown-haired boy at the front desk was completely useless forgetting everything we told him 3 times. However interesting place to go if you go there for the cats and cats only 🐈
J. H.
Now don't get me wrong the kitty's are cool but if I expecting some lovin from these kitty's like my fiancee was then you in for a whole world of hell. They don't like anyone but the staff and are very sorry. Tea was dank tho.
C. B.
Lovely place! Food is good and love spending time with the kitties ❤️
?.
Loved the cats
They were well trained and it was clean
W. B.
Very enjoyable experience, the cats are adorable. The food is good enough to work as a standalone restaurant. My only issue was that we had to ask for someone to take our order, and then ask for our desserts as all of the staff seemed to disappear. Wouldn't be a bad idea to be able to order at the desk as the table service didn't really work. The ladies were very good with my daughter, picking the cats up for her to stroke them and telling her all about their personalities. Would definitely come again.
J. o.
Lovely cats, relaxing atmosphere, nice food. Some children were a little irritating, trying to entice cats away from people stroking them. However that's the parents fault. Would visit again, definitely
M. H.
Watch out for the £6 entry fee. Nice atmosphere, the interior is incredible. When I went, the cats seemed to spend all their time in the other room. Maybe next time I'll bring some catnip in my bag.
L. J. B.
Had the best time ever, great food and lots of cute cats to play with!
G. D.
Beautiful place. Excellent charity to support. Not a bad price either. Lovely food. Couldn't get a decent picture except for outside. Busy people watching.
L. H.
It was our second visit here and we love it. Beautiful cats, lovely food and friendly staff. I do think they need to restrict the number of children they have in at any one point though. Yesterday, there were as many small children as adults. The staff were brilliant in speaking to their parents but surely the parents need to take some responsibility. Maybe limit the number? We did have a brilliant time but I just worry that the stress of so many kids clapping and whooping could affect the mental wellbeing of this majestic beings.
T. P.
20th May 2021 My girlfriend and I visited the Nottingham Kitty cafe. It was spacious, clean and the staff were welcoming. The Rocky road cake was great and the menu is substantial. A major negative of the visit was that there were two single mums that brought along more kids than they could afford including one 2 year old that ran around screaming the whole time (Scaring away the cats from us) also her older child which almost stepped on a cat twice and threw a screaming tantrum for 20 mins when their time expired. Though I felt it unfair if to detract from my grading of the venue, I do feel there definitely should be a policy where there are no under 5s. Cats don't like being bothered and kids of 2/3 years old (Especially this brat) shout, scream and don't understand what scares cats. They made so much noise during our hour stay and repeatedly almost stepped on the cats. One of the single mothers actually tripped over her offspring when they were madly running around. I'd go as far to say it ruined our visit, for 50 mins we had little cat activity around us as they were scared off. Disappointing but not directly the fault of the cafe.
K. G.
There are 18cats, so you have them around you but they mostly sleep. This means you can enjoy the sight of a few without being overwhelmed whilst drinking/ eating. Prices inside are very reasonable. There is a compulsory £6 charge per adult at the door (for charity) which I think seems pricey. I think it should be per table/group, or free with a minimum charge per table. In London there is a pet cafe with all different types of animals and that's free with the expectation of buying- that's the only reason im saying. But hey, if it all goes to charity I guess!
M. J.
Really clean Café with cats absolutely everywhere!!!!! Great quality good and kind very friendly staff!
D.
Absolutely loved going, will definitely go again very soon :)
M. C.
Great place to go if your a cat fan. Costs to just go in which was a surprise but understand its to ensure the cats are well looked after.. Food ok and great friendly and calm staff. Of course all the cats were fabulous.
J. P.
Lovely the kids loved it nice lunch beautiful cats well looked after .
I. M.
We had a brilliant time. Loved the food but most of all the cats! The staff were very kind and friendly, we can't wait to go again.
J. W.
Lovely atmosphere. If you liked cats you'll love it. Lovely cakes. Cats all seemed very happy and loved. Great unique place
K. A.
The food was great but the coffees and cakes were absolutely stunning. The cats are all so adorable and it's such a fun atmosphere to be in!
K.
The Ktty Cafe in Nottingham has a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere.
There is an entry fee of £6 per adult and £4 per child per hour!
Food menu limited and poor value for money.
Was asked to leave my table as the hour was up yet we still hadn't received the dessert.
Unfortunately my granddaughter wants me to take her again, but next time we will just have a drink and go somewhere else for lunch.
G. M.
Lovely food, and very well looked after funny cats that do entertain you while you eat, worth the money.
S. G.
Great place. Very relaxed. Food was lovely and prices are not bad at all. Both myself and my husband loved our time there
M. W.
Away in nottingham for a concert .my wife wanted to go into kitty cafe .a lovley place and all the cats are so well looked after and safe .if your a cat fan its s must to visit .
H.
Amazing experience, cool aesthetics, cats aren't always around and you are not always seated by where the cats like to play, food is acceptable, staff are great, the way the cats are handled by visitors especially children isn't great.
E. B.
Lovely experience for any age, clean and funky cafe with 18 cats roaming freely enjoying the fuss! Good service, meals and cake selection. entarance fee goes straight to rescuing cats.
C. G.
Love this place so much, the cats are so cute and they've got some vegan options on their menu which is great. So excited for the one opening in Leicester!
Z.
Great experience everytime spending your lunch with cat friends is great and relaxing way to spend an afternoon if you love cats
B. T.
If you're a feline fan, then head down here! Vibrant atmosphere for customers who love to interact with cats as well as have a snack. For me as a visitor in Nottingham, it was the ideal experience to have, recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
M. J.
Lovely place. The staff are lovely. The cats are adorable and great selection of food and drink. Entrance fee and menu prices are reasonable. The only thing I think needs addressing is the behaviour of some of the children who attend. I felt very uncomfortable and concerned for the cats when some children were running around the cafe, chasing after the cats, scaring them, screaming at them and poking them with objects such as pencils. Some parents were not supervising their children and were allowing them to run around the cafe which is against the cafe's rules and code of conduct. It was also spoiling the experience for other customers. I'm not happy with this kind of behaviour towards animals especially as this place cares for rescue cats.
T. B.
This place is amazing for someone who loves cats. The staff very friendly and the cats are amazing. 5☺
T.
Great place to go if you love cats and also want to enjoy a nice coffee, cake or other food items. Decor is lovely and very suited to allowing the cats to roam freely and have safe spaces.
J. E.
Took my 2 granddaughters aged 10 and they loved it
S. P.
Excellent place. Very clean. Cats and kittens (& staff) very friendly. Will definitely be back soon.
Book in advance to avoid disappointment.
M. S.
We had a great visit. The kids and the big kids loved it.
The food is good and we would definitely go again.
A. &. D.
What an amazing place to visit for cat lovers. This is a truly interactive cat rescue centre and all the moggies there are so friendly. The food is really good too.
R. S.
Absolutely amazing place and atmosphere. Food was delicious, and the cats were calm, friendly and obviously well looked after! The staff were also very friendly. They had a small gift shop with some great items for not that much money! You were allowed to walk freely through the café to see all the cats, and there were covers for your food so the cats didn't get to it. A really amazing overall experience - would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves cats!!!
C. R.
Great place to relax and see loads of rescue cats, which all have their own unique story
J. B.
Lovely place, the staff were great. A good menu if slightly on the expensive side. The cheesecake was amazing. Food covers are provided to stop the cats helping themselves but they have a good attempt anyway! Some really beautiful animals and they are rehomed when possible. There were 27 in on the day that I went. It was 10.30am on a weekday in term time so it was very quiet so I could relax with my book and a drink. There is a welfare charge of £6 for adults and £4 for kids which is not mentioned on the website. Overall I would definitely recommend it and will be going again!
m. g.
Its okay but the cats are really not interested in people at all. Like my boyfriend said 'we get more cat action in the carpark'.
M. S. R. s.

Love, love, love this place. Coffee is good, cakes are good. Have good selection to choose from on menu and a good system so the kitties don't nick any thing. Cats were so cute and friendly. Staff clearly take care of them very well. The kittens were playful and precious. If I lived near there I would adopt all the kitties. The great witch approves.
S. S.
Lovely place, nice food, only downside is just being allowed an hour so wouldn't be able to come in with friends as there wouldn't be enough time for a good natter. The cats are cute though.
A. R.
Absolutely loved it! The cats were all so so so adorable.
Although you book an hour slot, you can hang out with the cats for as long as you want, as long as you don't leave your stuff at your table for longer than an hour. We definitely surpassed our hour, but the staff were super nice and didn't ask us to move.
The twin ragdoll kittens were definitely our favourite! They'll come and play with you and sit/sleep on your lap for absolutely ages!
N. P. A.
Fantastic idea. Charity Cafe Raising money for looking after Cats until they find a new home. Proceeds from the Excellent cafe and gifts Serving delicious cakes/ lunches and hot and cold drinks. Cats can roam free. Lots of clever places for them to climb and play.
A. b.
The staff are so lovely and the cats are adorable but I would suggest you not ordering hot food because we (and others in the cafe) literally had to cover our food and quickly sneak a bite in every 10 seconds because the cats were under, around and literally sat on our food and even drank from our water! You are provided covers but it took away from the experience so I would love to return but would only order a drink. I think everyone would enjoy it more if they did the same (unless cats on your food does not bother you) x
H.
A lot of kids running around and the cats seemed annoyed. Quite a lot of different cats so that was good. I had some tea and it was nice.

Lovely time. As it wasn't busy we were able to stay longer than usual. Food good, company super and staff very helpful and polite. One little criticism, the cocktails taste great, but there was very little to them as it was 80% ice, which was a real shame. Other than that, a lovely visit all round, and great to see the cats so happy and well cared for. Working in rescue myself, l am very aware of the welfare of animals, and these cats are indeed very lucky!

I love this place, they really take good care of the cats. The food and drinks are delicious and the staff are all friendly. The kitties are the main attraction. My favourite is probably Toffee but I love them all. Baloo is the leader of the pack and Heathcliff is majestic.

Love the idea and the charity especially as its also a rescue place where you can adopt the cats. The only problem is that the cats are all quite skiddish and unfriendly so even if you went with the idea of adopting one, you can't really fuss or handle them. Its quite expensive even before you buy anything with it being £4-6pp to get in.. But as its a charity and contribute towards the cats so its kinda understandable. Worth a visit but dont expect overly tame cats!
