Reviews of Manor Farm Tea Shoppe

Relaxing atmosphere, delicious Egg on Toast, tasty iced latte. Prices are little bit expensive.
Will come back definitely Inshallah.

This was a lunch stop for our WI walk. The soup and hazelnut latte were much appreciated and warmed me up. The service was good and there was a good choice of food on offer.

Marvellous place. We walked down from our caravan site for two full English breakfasts and excellent coffee. The young lad on the till was friendly and the woman making coffee was brilliant. They even swapped a few things on the breakfast order in spite of the fact they were very busy which was unexpected but lovely. Great place. There's air con inside or a lovely outdoor seating area. We'll be back.

A lovely little tea shoppe in a gorgeous relaxed setting. I had the Greek Salad with chicken breast and I can say with all honesty it was the nicest salad I have ever had from a food establishment. Lovely fresh ingredients and a large portion size. Recommend a visit here if you want fresh meals and hearty portions. Staff are also lovely and go that extra mile for their customers.

Loved it. I've visited the tea rooms several times over the years. Good all year round, but really comes into its own during the warmer months when you can sit in the garden.

A group of us 6 cyclists from Derby
Stopped off yesterday at Manor Farm Tea Shoppe whilst following the Tour of Britain in various locations throughout Nottinghamshire.
A friendly warm welcome was received from the ladies behind the counter.
And we soon received our orders of various tasty cakes and various beverages at a reasonable price too!
All this whilst the staff were serving a regular lunch party of "Young ladies" And one lucky "Young gentleman"!
The chat and banter ensued between us cyclists the lunch party and the staff..
Which lead to a jovial atmosphere!
Before long us cyclists said our goodbyes and headed over towards Southwell to carry on watching the Tour of Britain.
We were that impressed with the quality and prices at Manor Farm Tea Shoppe.
That we...Spondon Cycling Club are hoping to plan a route over the border and incorporate a stop Tea Shoppe in the future.
Once again many thanks to you all.👍

Such a pretty location and great food and cake. Plenty of shelter if weather not great. Highly recommend. Flower shop next door is lovely and beautiful flowers.

Amazing place, brilliant staff and tasty food all wrapped up in a fantastic location! Good parking and as my sister was in a wheelchair good access to the cafe and the garden. Service was friendly and a big thanks to the man who set up the chairs in the garden and organised a table change. If you want a calm relaxing meal and a chance to look at some interesting plants this is the place for you. PS dog friendly as well!

Lovely place and friendly staff, the place had a lovely atmosphere, the food was delicious and so filling but had a piece of carrot cake which was amazing, highly recommend this place if passing 👍

I can recommend the sausage cob. The pork cob with chips and gravy looked amazing.

I have visited for many years and have watched this Tea Shoppe change and evolve.
There are lots of parking spaces for your cars or bike, so they are safe.
The Owners and Staff are extremely courteous and go over and above to give you a warm welcome on arrival.
The atmosphere is really warm and pleasant inside the Tea Room and sitting outside in summer is equally as nice to relax and enjoy your time there.
During winter there is a marquee to cover the garden and patio heaters, if you want to sit outside with your pets.
The menu is varied for the season and their specials offered for lunch are a delight. However this is one of the best places around for a fabulous breakfast. The produce is locally sourced and exceptional.
A recent addition of the 200 degree coffee is welcomed and with their home made cakes and scones on offer is definitely not to be missed.
I also have a local Business and recommend my clients to eat and drink there each week and I always get good and positive feedback. Some of my Clients drive back to the village after their stay with us, just to re-visit the Tea Shoppe and enjoy their exceptional homemade cuisine.
I would highly recommend a visit for their consistency and such stunning surroundings to relax in.
Dont forget a visit to the new Flower Shop too, the flowers are absolutely stunning !
10/10 . Thank you.

Very much changed since I visited - probably pre Covid ! Lovely. Beautiful currently with all the spring bulbs flowering. Tea Shoppe is really cosy and comfy inside. Gorgeous cheese scones, warmed up. The cakes looked scrummy. Coffee great .. and a lovely friendly person serving - it doesn't get much better !!!
M. K.
Beautiful setting, lovely service, delicious food and lots of comfortable seating outside, with some tables left inside should you choose to use them. Super friendly staff. Gets busy at lunchtime, so get there a little early!! Highly recommend

Warm atmosphere, friendly staff and great food 👌

Very good as ever. Really like the coffee.
D.
Really lovely place, gorgeous setting, but at 14 /15 quid for 3 slices of cake and 2 coffees - boy it's a treat! !
The cakes , though nice enough, took absolutely ages to arrive too which led to our two hungry little ones getting a bit restless and bored. Would go again for a drink and maybe breakfast but think service needs speeding up. Young lad who served me was so nice and did apologise for slow service.
R. P.
Nice quiet gardens to sit and enjoy coffee &cake in the sunshine

Visited during the covid pandemic. Did not have to book although it was advisable. Outside tables available although you had to wait patiently. Inside tables readily available. When we got our outside table I had to go inside to book the meal. I took drinks out on a tray and our crab, avocado and apple salad was brought out to us. Tables well spaced and cleaned after each use.
Well recommended.

Beautiful place, reasonably priced and helpful courteous staff. Delicious cream teas.

We got caught between end of breakfast st 11.30am and the start of lunch at 12 noon!,Told we would have to wait for 30 mins as the kitchen did their prep.
Never had that before.....
A. W.
Really nice coffee shop with good range of cakes and hot menu including lunches.
Service is excellent, front of house staff very helpful and patient.
(Scones are the best!)

Disabled Review: Good parking right outside venue. Short walk or wheelchair along an even path to entrance or garden. Plenty of room indoors to accommodate a wheelchair between tables. Selection of snacks sandwiches and light lunches. Sunday Lunch served or lighter meal; hot roast cobs with gravy and roast potatoes. Home made cakes and desserts. Lovely garden seats with good umbrella cover if required. Open until 8pm for food on a friday evening. All in all a delightful venue, good quality food, catering well for the disabled.
J. A.
Easy parking. Good access for wheelchair users. Bit of a walk from car parking area. Covid procedures good. Outside and inside tables. Good range of beverages and snacks - including breakfasts. Reasonable pricing. Coffee ( Americano) good - suited me. A little oasis.

This place is such a cute place. It's a good size and has an outdoor area - in the sun like today it is absolute bliss. The food is lovely and isn't too expensive either. The staff are very friendly and helpful too! Will definitely be visiting here again! It has such a nice vibe!
D. H.
Great food, great coffee, fantastic staff, and a very warm welcome. They team made every effort to accommodate our cycling group. Well worth a visit
P. T.
Dropped in for a delicious cup of tea at the end of the day, still made very welcome and not made to feel rushed at all, very friendly and helpful staff. Not been for a long time due to change in life circumstances but will certainly be returning. Good hygiene / social distancing systems in place too.
J.
Love location, Beautiful gardens. All staff very friendly and helpful . Great menu good gluten free items .
All covid 19 Tues and regs carried out.
A. E.
A small menu of all the right light bites plus more substantial daily specials, prepared freshly on-site, in great surroundings and at very reasonable prices. I enjoyed their cream of vegetable soup 30 years ago as a child with my parents and now visit with my own children, although, sadly, my favourite cream of vegetable soup is no longer on the menu :-(
R. L.
Friendly staff with a great food offer. Definitely worth a visit.
D. B.
Lovely Tea Shop. Food was fresh and tasty. Lot of cleaning down after customers left. Felt at ease from post Covid freedom. Nicely done.
S. B.
Reply lovely place, cakes are great and the coffee is good as well.

Nice place, first time there. I booked a table, unfortunately wasn't told at the time of booking that when I booked for 3.30pm they stopped food at 3.15pm and closed at 4pm 🤔😢
A. G.
Plenty of parking, area for children to play, excellent service, no need to book ahead but it does help, Motorcycles welcome
Y. H.

Our local tea shop, great food and you can buy all the ingredients to bake your own! Always reliable and even better when the weather is good and you can sit outside. Recommended if you are out this way!
C. A.
Really nice atmosphere and staff. We had the afternoon tea, particularly nice cakes! Had seating both inside and outside
S. W.
Great choice of cakes but upside down service. Brought cakes out, then the pots of tea, but no cups. Had to ask twice before the cups arrived. Also three pots of tea for two but only one pot of hot water to top up the three pots.
P. R.
a little gem of a tea shop, I often plan a cycle ride so I can pop in for tea and something sweet to boost my energy. In the warm weathers it's really nice to sit outside in the garden too.
L. C.
Lovely, unhurried lunch. Delicious food, friendly welcome. Look forward to going again.

Saturday 7 March 2015 - The Wedding of Shane & Abby
Well what can we say “Absolutely Amazing” from start to finish nothing was too much trouble for team at Manor Farm. Caroline, Andrew and their staff made this very special day perfect, their Customer Service that they provided was 100%, the food Superb, their attention to detail excellent.
Shane and Abby wanted to use their own finishing touches for their Wedding reception; Caroline & Andrew enabled them to make it a dream come true and we would highly recommend Manor Farm to anyone contemplating using them for a venue.
As for the future we will definitely become regular visitors to the cafe.
With great appreciation
Paul & Sharon (Shane’s Mum & Dad – now Abby’s in laws )
