Amazing, cheerful and friendly service, great food. Loved the rhubarb lemonade. Pizzas were great, fantastic toppings options. Desserts were decadent. We tried the apple pie and chocolate-orange cheesecake. For a gin & tonic, three coffees, a bottled lemonade, three pizzas (one with added toppings) and two desserts, came to around £60.

My sister, wife and I all came here for a meal. This was our first time visiting. Upon entering we were greeted and seated very professionally and courteously, The atmosphere was very relaxing, not too dark, not too bright. The service from the waitresses was great, with very upper-class feeling treatment, which was not expected in a small eatery. I had a starter of duck arancini, with sweet chilli sauce, these were by far the juiciest, most tender pieces of duck I've ever had, I was honestly so surprised at the tenderness, so 5 stars there! As for my main, I went for the Chicago-style oven-baked, thin-base pizza comprising of chorizo, cheese, chicken and bbq base. It was the perfect texture, a firm crisp around the edges and crust, and a beautiful soft-bread inner dough. Stringy cheese and no conflicting tastes, delicious to the last bite! Overall our meals were beautiful and the staff were very friendly! The price was a little high when I was first browsing, however ... after tasting the food, I can now say the prices were without a doubt justified! Well done staff of portobello!

First time visiting and have to say it was great. Unable to book online for before 2pm and was told that they like to close the kitchen after 2:30pm so we arrived at 1pm to be sure. We were seated and the staff were welcoming and the atmosphere was very nice. We had a tea for two and this arrives in a nice teapot which gave two cups of tea each. On the main we ordered pasta dishes, both of these were piping hot and well presented, and tasty! These were from the cafe lunch menu. The staff were on the ball when it came it making sure everyone is safe and following government guidelines, making sure that people signed in or used track and trace, plus making sure they sanitized their hands and people had face masked. One woman came in with her family and said she booked a table but then forgot her face mask, the woman said it would take her 10mins to get home to pick it up and the staff stuck to their guns and said she needed to have her face mask, unsure if the woman went over to Savers to purchase a mask but if I was the staff I would of said they sell them in Savers over the road, think the woman was just hoping the member of staff would back down and let her off without wearing a mask. Heard plenty of good things about this place so we went for our first time on a Saturday evening, food was good, we just felt very rushed by the staff and our bill brought to us and not even offered the dessert menu? There were plenty of empty tables there and we left around 9:20pm so they can’t say they were too busy? We enjoyed it but felt it could have been a better experience.

Best steak I’ve ever had, and I’ve had some good steaks over in the USA. The icing on the cake was treating my two daughters like vip’s. We will definitely be back on our next family visit. Booked to go here Saturday night, was met by friendly waitress seated quickly, menus given to us, time to browse, ordered drinks bottle of prosecco great price, then ordered food which came in great time, checked upon to make sure everything was OK, which I must say it was delicious, cooked to perfection great taste and great portion sizes, really would recommend I'm fussy and everything was perfect, great team working there even the owners check to see if yr ok, the waitresses were on it all night they don't stop!!!!! Located on the top of Carlton, this Italian Restaurant/Bar/Café has so much to offer. The variety on the menu is absolutely amazing, everyone can find something they fancy. All the dishes are freshly prepared, good portions and taste amazing. Never had a bad meal here. If you just popping in for a few drinks, you won't be disappointed either as the bar is very well stocked. They even do full English breakfast! Prices are competitive and you really get a lot for your money here. All the facilities are cleaned to the highest standards. Staff is welcoming, informative and highly trained.

Faultless, Excellent and Delicious, that was just the staff, owners and venue, wait until you try the food. Best kept secret in town and probably the finest menu for miles around, award winning, the old favourites will have to up their game to beat these guys. I popped in with the family for a Saturday lunch and the place was full which gave a fantastic atmosphere. I had the Mushroom Tortelloni with was delicious but the portion size was a bit on the big side for me for lunch but that's not necessarily a bad thing for most. My wife had the Mediterranean linguini which I tried and it was great. My mother in law had a beef casserole which also looked delicious but I didn't try because it had meat in it. The staff were lovely and were very helpful even though the place was really busy. There was a great selection of drinks and the place looked clean and presentable. Another nice new restaurant for Carlton Hill. Thanks. 10/10

Visited as soon as we saw it had opened, love Pizza Savai in town and heard this was by the same people so wanted to try it. The food was excellent, had a burger and it was great, peppered beef, brioche bun, mozzarella. Then finished with a salted caramel stack. Friendly service, food came out quickly and was all really good. Restaurant is lovely and clean inside, nicely decorated and is a nice light place to eat in. It's like finding hidden treasure; a buzzing retreat in another Nottinghill! A perfect little bar, cafe and restaurant off the beaten track but well worth the trip for the quality of cocktails and freshly prepared food. The two brothers have started this new venture following on from their successful pizzeria restaurant (which was also successful for them for 25 years before recently closing) which has been a little gold mine for them since opening!
