Great cafe. Didn't even know it was there but went as we were in the area and needed something easy. Friendly staff, good menu and reasonable prices. Perhaps the only pause for thought is that the nachos came with cold cheese, but each to their own!

Took the car for a new windscreen this morning. Quayside Cafe is practically next door. Dog friendly which is great. Ordered a large breakfast; The young lady serving me didn’t bat an eyelid at my pickiness. Even though it was really busy my food arrived quickly, piping hot and exactly as ordered. The large latte was excellent as well. The table staff were young, well mannered, helpful and hard working. Place was really clean. Definitely recommend and will be going back.

Have to say, it's an odd location, but it is quite the jewel. It's lovely inside with really great quality furnishings and lovely modern, clean WC's. Went for breakfast and was lovely, big pots of tea with free water top ups should you need. Warning, if your car sat-nav is a little old you may struggle to find the post code, but it's there on Google maps. Will definitely be returning.

This place is lovely, you enter a door in the middle of a business estate and enter a funky, modern cafe with lots of charming quirks. The food is well presented with quality ingredient, the service is friendly, but I think their toaster was broken today 🤣. It's all love for these guys 👏🏻

Amazing what you find on an Industrial Estate in Colwick. A great new cafe with great decor. The food is all cooked fresh to order at reasonable prices too. Lovely friendly staff and the poshest cafe I've been too. Highly recommend a visit, not easy to find but when you do it's well worth it.

After seeing a post about this place me and the wife had to go and give it a go, and we was heavenly surprised. Once you get over it's in an industrial estate, as you walk in you get a good sense of cleanliness. The decor is done very well with plenty of tables. We ordered the lrg breakfast which was bang on, the bonus being I don't like grilled tomatoes so they ask if I would like something else extra which doesn't happen very often so an extra egg it was. The staff were friendly and happy and the toilets were not what we was expecting, it was like walking into a posh restaurant toilet, very clean and done to a very high standard. We will be going again and taking friends. Well done Quayside Cafe. 👍👍👍

Visited for breakfast today with two friends. The location is a bit of a treasure map, buried deep in Colwick industrial estate, but it is worth the effort. Ordered some food and drinks, prices aren't too bad, standard city prices really. The food was lovely, coffee was good, milkshake was awesome 👌🏻 the place has been well fitted out, very fresh and clean inside, all looks brand new, well decorated, really cool cafe atmosphere. Sadly service was so slow. Took a while to place my order and the food came out followed by the coffees, just wasn't quite up to speed. Read a few reviews and responses from the owner and looks like they have some staff shortages going on, to be fair, the staff that were working were (mostly) very friendly and happy to help, though clearly rushed. We heard about this from a friend but have seen it advertised a lot so suspect they're struggling with influx of customers. Will visit again as I enjoyed the food and hopefully next time they have sorted the few minor issues. Recommended.

Called in for tea n toast after reading good reviews...I wasn't disappointed, its a big cafe with plenty of space....slightly confusing as to where you order your food....there were several girls standing together talking but not serving..the order point is at the till, but there was nobody there ...I was soon served,however, and everything was fine...highly recommended..

Just collected a take away Sunday dinner for two. The cafe was very busy so a little bit of a wait for the food to be ready but well worth the wait. We both chose beef and chicken and the beef in particular was really good. Very tender and good flavour. Generous portions of all the ingredients together with a pot of real gravy. Would definitely recommend either eat in or take away and will return.

Not your normal greasy spoon, this establishment is lovely and clean, well lit and spacious. Although quite busy the courteous staff managed to keep our waiting time to minimal. Love the Cumberland sausage, a really nice touch. We will definitely be back. Well done guys, keep up the good work.

Called into the café today. All very nice decoration and ambience . we had the small breakfast, Just a little disappointed that we only got an egg cup full of beans with the breakfast and thought that a pot of tea for one at £2.20 was a bit steep. So yes a small breakfast is what it says, with a regular breakfast price. Will drop in again when passing but "spoons" take some beating when it comes to a small regular breakfast.
