C. M.They'll never compete with the smaller coffee shops. Although they're huge corporations, this takes the finger things out of it. In places such as these it's more to do with profit making than it is the coffee. Saying that though, the service was lovely and the staff worked hard to make the customers happy. The coffee ain't too bad but it still doesn't touch the likes of Cartwheel which are quaint and not so crowded.

I normally have a take out but decided to drink in due to the weather being bad.
The seating area was very dirty and it had flies flying around us, which was a shame because I do like a good Starbucks.
S. L.I am a regular customer but lately the atmosphere has been disappointing unfortunately. The music in the background: playing club music on a sunday at 12pm is not the lovely atmosphere we want to get from a coffee shop 😞 Can we go back to some nice jazz music maybe? I’d finally add the place didnt look clean (floor/tables)… it doesnt feel like a treat anymore, more like a service station: busy/dirty/loud. Staff are lovely as usual and I loved my drink so 10/10 on that level, just need some serious work on cleanliness and ‘music’.
-. M.When I choose to treat myself with a Hazelnut or Pumpkin Spice latte there is no place better for me than Starbucks! Very nice and friendly staff and it's so nice to be greeted by staff that are soo cheerful and friendly especially after a hard day !

Y. B.Egg Nog coffee lovely. Festive pannini very, very disappointing. I had to search for the turkey and bacon. Not even enough to provide a thin layer of meat talk about Mr Scrooge! All bread no filling! Will go back to a tuna one next time. Queue went quickly, searing areas pretty clean with just a few cups and plates left sitting. Staff were busy so understandable but could've done with tables being given a bit of a spray and wipe between customers.

P.Lots of people, atmosphere. Quick efficient service. Tables were messy and in need of cleaning. Otherwise recommended. This Starbucks is right in the centre of town with a good view across Old Market Square.
J. S.Love this Starbucks. Usually more of a Costa guy, but my wife and I enjoy sitting in the window seats watching people pass by. Opening hours are very good, can often pop in later in the evening including on Sundays.

A. H.A busy Saturday afternoon. Bustling with mainly young students of various nationalities. Great to see everyone enjoying just getting on with their day no aggro but (some very complex coffee orders)! 😄 My favourite a Frappachino, got hooked on them when travelling in the United States. Coffee crushed ice and cream.

F. S.We were going to this store for over eight years but my experience yesterday marked a new milestone. Torrell, one of baristas went the extra miles for us for our Earl Grey and cakes order, he listened carefully to our request and handled the cakes with causion, I felt the food and drinks he served was safe and untouched by any hand. He also did not hesitate to give us extra teabags to make it the we preferred. Despite being a busy store, he did all with control and rapidly and I think he deserved to get this review for caring equally for every single customer. Thank you Torrell.

Working in catering myself I understand it can so frustrating when you are about to close and run out of an ingredient etc and cannot make the product without re prepping. The team on shift consisting of Owen, Jess and manager Sam gave me options on how they could alternately prepare the drink but ultimately ended up brewing a fresh batch of green tea to complete my order while apologising for my wait and inconvenience. I even received a voucher for a drink despite only waiting a couple of minutes and being more than happy to do so. I was having a particularly stressful day and It’s gestures and conversations like this that can just lift your mood. Thank you so much!

N.Coffee is always up to standards. Atmosphere is great and staff are quick to deliver order on time, even during busy hours. A little messy as there's not enough staff to look after the place; bins are full and dirty, lots of empty cups and mugs left on tables, and it can be very loud sometimes.

S. H.Place is set up for social distancing. There is a fixed way to queue and less tables. Toilets are still available for use by customers which is good. And they had a full menu of items to choose from.

S. T.I'm a fan of the franchise. The drinks are lovely. They make a beautiful matcha. But this particular coffee shop is very poorly laid out.
This certainly isn't a place you can relax with a drink with friends. I get it's a busy time and city. But some simple changes to the layout and not trying to shoe horn as many people in as possible would make all the difference.

N. T.Standard Starbucks. Decent number of sockets and wifi is quick. Service indifferent and staff clearly not employed for their knowledge of coffee - some odd responses to a request for a "double espresso" - "Do you mean a latte?". Good location for waiting for a tram. No one seems to mind if you sit all day and don't drink anything. Pricey. Toilets are underground and poorly ventilated, making it an unpleasant experience in summertime. Popular with groups of young people who play card games in the evening. Main cafe area is well air-conditioned. Open late.

The fudge hot chocolate was nice but very strong flavour.
The chocolate truffle cake was thick and rich.
The cinnamon swirl was sweet and tasteful but the pastry was slightly dry.
Over all a nice experience for a relaxing coffee and bit of cake.
R. W.Love starbucks, great service, great tasting coffee and the site placement couldn't be better. I happily sit in there hours with a sandwich and a latte just watching the world go by. Lovely and relaxing, the music is always amazing too!
M. T. A. T.Usually Starbucks is a great experience to chill out and relax . Hot chocolate drinks are very good but one of the workers is very patronising and rude to me when I ask for hot water to make a cup of tea. I reuse Starbucks cups to save the environment. I'm a regular customer, whats the problem with that? Whoever she is she needs to be sacked for bad customer service! She gets paid to do her job! What's the matter with her?

m. b.Quiet a large store but this is right in the centre of Nottingham so to be expected. Drink and staff all the usual Starbucks top standard.
There is place to work although as mentioned it it busy..
one other point is that the toilets are downstairs so don't set off late and not ideal if you aren't mobile. I didn't notice a lift but can't be certain there isn't one.
Also didn't notice a baby change and disabled toilet at ground level but I'd be surprised if there wasn't one.

A. P.As i was waiting for my drink there was this horribly rude lady who had an attitude the whole way through and just being mean to everyone and complaining about everything. The way the staff took care of the situation and responded to her demands showed real proffesionalism. It was busy and you could tell they were stressed but they took the time to re-do her order and offered her a free drink for next time even though she was the one in the wrong. I felt so bad for the ladies working you could just tell how embarresed and uncomfortable they felt so well done girls for handling it so calmly.
