L. B.Such a lovely place. I think this is probably the best cafe in Nottingham in terms of value for money. The food is always great, really well flavoured, but also feels fresh and healthy. It's also pretty cheap as it's run by volunteers. It's quite small so you may need to book if you're going at a popular time, but well worth it as the food is excellent.

Edit: Since my last review, I have gone to Crocus multiple times and have always had a great time. Unfortunately, it is a vegetarian restaurant, not vegan like I thought. So bear that in mind if you are looking to support small vegan businesses. Still, the food is lovely and the atmosphere is always nice. Besides the food, they have art on the walls that you can buy and other bits and pieces near the back.

D. P.Crocus Cafe is a warm and friendly vegan cafe, with 2 incredible dishes. My favourite is the Mezze Salad. It's packed with nutrients. Crocus are doing an amazing job with donating some of their earnings to charity too!

H. M.Have the Crocus breakfast when I go there, always beautiful. Eggs are cooked perfectly and though I'm not a fan of mushrooms they're done beautifully, always clear my plate. Very homely and accomodating staff and service, would always recommend whether you're vegan or vegetarian or neither.

M.My favourite Vegan / Vegetation place in Nottingham. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and great concept. Be sure to make a donation for a suspended meal so Crocus can help those who need it.
Day time they do cafe style food, the full breakfast is great. Thursday, Friday & Sunday night they do a special menu, different each night. Nights include Tapas, Mexican, Asian, Burger night etc. Reservation a must as they get busy.
s.Great little place, with a distinctly '70s veggie vibe. Cheap, cheerful and colourful. Was seriously impressed by the quality of the food, as well. And they were playing Bowie into the bargain. Rock on.

v. D.Visited twice 3 times over the weekend. Cycling from the Conference Centre at the Uni into Notts with breaks at this wonderful Vegan Cafè. The Aubergine and Chickpea Ragout was delicious. I went in again on the way back to the Uni for afternoon Coffee and Walnut cake. So nice to know I can have a delicious healthy lunch and cake and all Vegan.
