Reviews of The Pudding Pantry

The Pudding Pantry is a little gem slightly hidden from the main Trinity Square area by being down a connecting leg towards TK Max. However, search for it because the food is fantastic. The setting is wonderful with the feel of an old fashioned eatery with outdoor as well as indoor seating, and attentive but not over bearing staff but the real star is the food.
I had the Pantry breakfast & what a feast - country sausage, streaky bacon, eggs your way (I had scrambled), on-vine roasted tomatoes, garlic mushrooms, home made beans and 2 fluffy, delicious American style pancakes with warm, runny maple syrup. I added a side of toast which is available in 3 flavours.
What a feast! For the eyes as well as the stomach & I can confirm that it tasted as good as it looked. One small thing that really made my meal - the salt and pepper pots were not pots but little grinders - really easy to use & just fitted with the whole easy atmosphere of the place.
My dining companions each had 4 pancakes with accompaniments and confirmed that these were the best pancakes they'd ever tasted.
We have only scratched the surface of the menu. With artisan coffee and lots of options this is a place we will be coming back to. It's not a huge place so you may have to wait a short time for a table, but the wait is worth it. Service is quick and efficient, but also very friendly. Put it on your list of places to visit in Nottingham and I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Always had a great experience. Been here multiple times and the service has been amazing. Always a bit busy due to its popularity so can be a little wait but it’s so worth it for the food and quality of experience from the place. With always be a favourite with the amount of food and the creativity put in to create not only great tasting but really pretty dishes and drinks.

We didn’t know where we wanted to go from brunch then came across to this lovely place. No regrets! Pancakes were so fluffy and tasty. The salmon was an icing on the cake for each meal we have. Had the iced chai and it really complimented the dish I ordered. Thankies to the friendly staff as well. I recommend, indeed!
K. F.
If you go to one place in Nottingham go here the food was incredible and the drinks just as amazing. Will defo be back if in Notts again. Portion sizes are huge. Staff are lovely and friendly too.

I visited on 9/10/2021 and I strongly recommend to drop by here and enjoy your teabreak and meal but when you visit here during the weekend, you need to wait on the queue and be paitent until entering.
Price of menus is pretty reasonable and the amount of dish was enough to make the meal-deal.
The service served by staff memebers were accommodating. They asked me; such as how I enjoy and the quality and amount of the ordered menu were enough for me? I was contented by the food and service.
Anyway, this resturant is at least better than other places located in London.

Very filling and generous with the servings, especially with the extra portions. Pancakes were fluffy and amazing. Perfect for brunch and sweet cravings. Friendly and attentive staff.

We had breakfast here on a Sunday morning and were very pleased with everything. The staff were accomodating and speedy. Our dishes were prepared and plated quickly. We have tried out a few breakfast places in Nottingham and we reckon the quality is superb here!
D. M.
They staff were friendly, professional, really responsive and knew their stuff! The food was amazing and their drinks even better. I have a range of food allergies and they were able to find something I could eat along with my friends who could eat whatever they wanted! The hot teas were awesome (& done properly!). It was a lovely place with a wonderful friendly and bright atmosphere. We hope to go again in the future. Thank you The Pudding Pantry!

Felt like the pudding pantry hated me as it was issue after issue. The food was very nice though so can't fault that.
Went for mid afternoon pancakes and we were seated next to the toilets despite there being other seats available, I kept having to squeeze in to let people past to use the toilet.
They took our order and then 30 minutes later our drinks arrived. The slow service only seemed to be for us as people who arrived much later got their orders before us. Luckily my coffee was still hot when it finally arrived.
The food was really nice, quite decadent but that's what you go there for. At one point though the toilets were cleaned and all I could taste was the bleach.
Once we had finished we were again ignored and then had to go up to actually pay. They gave us a discount due to the long wait which I did really appreciate but I have no idea how much it was as I wasn't given a bill. The card machine then took ages of course.
Most of it isn't their fault but it still added up to a poor experience which is a shame as everyone I know loves this place. Still give it a go I'm just venting

Super friendly staff! Eggs Royale on pancakes is just divine! Will definitely recommend and will not disappoint.
H. G.
Absolutely loved this place! Super cosy atmosphere and the staff were really friendly. We ordered the Pancake Platter and wow…my video of it doesn’t do it near enough justice. Everything from the pancakes, to the cheesecake brownie pieces were heaven. The milkshakes are also delicious (can have as simple or as extravagant as you want). Will definitely be coming back here!
K. H.
Wheelchair friendly delightful treat. About the best pancakes I've ever come across- same can be said for the perfectly crisp streaky bacon. Service was bright, cheerful and friendly and staff were extremely accommodating. Portions are bang on, prices are reasonable and the decor charming. I really can't think of a negative thing to say about this place- its a real hidden gem i couldnt recommend enough! An extremely pleasant birthday lunch :D
L. W.
We had a super afternoon tea. Went with my little one and we were well look after and had so much food we took some home. Thank you a super early mother's day treat x

AMAZING, DELICIOUS MOUTH WATERING restaurant in nottingham, hands down! Every time I’ve ordered from pudding pantry, I’ve never been disappointed! The cakes are moist & lovely! They also cater for those who are vegan which is so so good! Give them a try, you wont regret it!!

My daughter and her friends celebrated her 13th birthday here. I explained I would leave them to it and return to pay. The staff were wonderful, and I was offered a table outside to have a coffee whilst I waited. They had a lovely time and enjoyed the pancakes and the cookie dough. I can't recommend enough.
V. D.
Amazing pancake, friendly staff! Love it every single time I visit!!
S. F.
Went in for something sweet on a hot day after not seeing anything good on the dessert menu of other restaurants.
We ordered a banana biscoff split and a peanut butter pie which were both big servings and much better value for money than typical cafes or restaurants. Plenty vegan options both sweet and savoury, looks like a great option for breakfasts, although non dairy milks have additional cost.
b.
Went to the Sherwood branch for lunch with my sister and our Mum last weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. Each member of staff we dealt with had a big smile on their face and the waitress couldn't have been more helpful with our request for menu adjustments. Very highly recommended! We will be back :-)

After a disappointing dinner I wanted to ensure our next meal in Nottingham was pleasant, especially as I was meeting a friend. Luckily it lived up to its reputation.
Walking in it was booming and was advised we would have to wait 10 15 minutes for a table which we agreed to do so.
We were seated at this end with not a lot of room but the sound of the food made up for that. They offer all your classic brunch food alas they did not have a pulled pork dish so I opted for a salmon benedict on pancakes. My friend had bacon and eggs on potato cakes and my partner chose the pantry dish aka sausage beans, bacon , mushrooms, tomatoes and pancakes oh and a egg of his choosing. To drink I settled on a boozy choc orange shake, others had a flat white and strawberry smoothie.
All the drinks were perfectly made albeit I dropped cream all over myself.. but wow the food! Everything was perfectly cooked, seasoned and just full of flavours.. even the baked beans had smoked paprika a other spices to zing it up.
The service was also impeccable without an expectant service charge. Overall we would eat here again. Top notch ingredients and just amazing food..
J. W.
Food was very good and came in very fair portions, staff are friendly but bear in mind it’s popular so you may have to wait outside for a short while
V. T.
Staff are friendly and helpful, food was pretty good. Loaded hot chocolate is surprisingly large.
A. M.
Amazing breakfast on a Sunday morning!! Enjoyed ‘The Full Pantry’ with a great coffee. The choice for food and drinks is huge and the staff were really friendly. We will definitely return.
L. M.
Would defo recommend this place! The staff where so friendly - I'd booked for 7 but unfortunately there'd been a slight mix up and they weren't ready for us. They sorted it out instantly and were so kind!
The food was delicious - was a lovely atmosphere as well.
Id recommend booking as it's SO busy (clearly extremely popular)
M. R.
Such a cute place to go for brunch the staff were really friendly and helpful when they got my order accidentally incorrect will be coming again!!
J. T.
Vegan friendly with decadent servings of sweet things! Really tasty, felt fancy too :)
R. A.
Been there before and impressed, so turned up again after a year to see if it still has the same standard and deliciousness. And the verdict is.....YES, it does maintain the same yummyness :) Another visit is imminent but we were told they are having a full refurbishment (01/2020) soon and will reopen in two weeks! We ordered the pudding platter and it came with all these delightful cake, brownie, tart, cheesecake and macaroon along with icecream. The only gripe was the macaroon as for two people platter, there was only one! We also had their delicious freshly made Lemonade and it was absolutely refreshingly tasty. The staff are very friendly and the place has a lovely vibe to it. Hopefully the refurb is even better and has a great interiors! The place to be for puddings in Nottingham.
J. S.
Met up with friends for a catch up and luckily I decided to get a table with my kids beforehand as it’s not possible to book for less than six people. We queued outside and then inside for about 40 minutes. We were seated next to the door which I said was fine if they could close the door, which he did. However, a better table became available and the manager, Lee, asked if we would like to move, which we did.
The staff were very nice, especially Lee, even though it was busy. I had the chorizo and halloumi hash which was delicious; the poached eggs were perfect. I also had a jammie dodger blonde which was sweet and filling and two excellent pots of tea. It’s not the cheapest place but for city centre location and quality, I think the prices were fair. I dropped a star as it would have been nice to have booked and avoided queuing outside, but I would definitely go again at a quieter time.
H. A.
Just adore this place! Came back twice in 1 week cause I couldn’t stop dreaming about it! Everything feels so fresh and delicious and you really do get your money’s worth! I absolutely cannot wait to come back
Edited my review: I now come back here basically weekly, if not more. I am absolutely in love with this place, the service is great, the food is so fresh! The prices are SO fair! You’ll walk out so full! I cannot express my love for this restaurant enough!
A. P.
This is a really surprising place, quietly sitting on side - and offering amazing food at more like reasonable price. Family business deliver honest high quality dessert and all - day breakfast/brunch and lunch options. When you seat and open menu you may think its expensive - but wait for plate, guaranteed you will be happy to pay 2 - 4£ more with smile 😁
Portion big, and no cheating on salmon or becon or even maple syrup.
And eggs benedict are absolutely must try - hollandaise sauce is a one of the best I've ever tried, and two other are at VERY posh restaurants before even Google went popular 👀
Will definitely recommend, it's a good place for date, family treat or just chat. Staff kind and friendly, you get a home vibe and good time any time. Well done, will recommend 👍
M. D.
Wonderful meal with excellent service, we had to wait a while but it was well worth it. It was a great atmosphere and was very cosy. The only issue I had was it seemed waitresses weren’t in a rush for us to leave. Hopefully PP can open another cafe to alleviate some of the hustle!
P. s.
Sweet tooth hotspot! Stating the obvious, I guess. The place had a cozy and charming ambiance which makes it a nice and not so expensive place for a lazy date. Do be careful though, the red velvet cookie dough, which they say is worth the wait, is cloyingly sweet and went overboard on the sugar.
M. V. W.
Walked past this place on the way to another place, which ended up being closed. Came back to the Pudding Pantry instead. So glad we did! Service was great, really friendly staff. Had the chai latte which was delicious. Brunch was courgette fritters, sweet corn fritters, bacon and sausage. Best dish I've had in a while. Was fantastic! Didn't have any pudding but they looked really tasty. Definitely worth checking out.
M. C.
Absolutely amazing! Was worried all the breakfast options would be too sweet, but had the lamb hash which was absolutely delicious. Nephew had the most amazing pancakes and my sister had the avocado on toast. Only queued for 5 minutes, greeted as soon as we walked in, staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back.
e. C.
Delicious and such big portions. Love their milkshakes. The platter was huge - see pics :)
A. B.
Amazing pancakes generous maple syrup! Also great coffee, everyone was social distancing and different households could eat together outside! Really delicious x
s.
A really excellent relaxed dining experience. Great concept, great food, great innovation and really helpful and pleasant staff - what a find! Even if there’s anywhere better than this in Beeston, I’d still look no further than this place!
P. H.
After a cold wet evening at the Nottingham Light Night we had a very warm and friendly welcome at the Pudding Pantry. Pancakes and Brownies for the children and a delicious chocolate bomb apple crumble for me. 3rd Visit could rate it higher.
Z. C.
Great food - big servings and very yummy. Service was good and well worth a visit.
T. H.
Usually love this place, but unfortunately the last 2 times I've been its been so crowded and hasn't felt very covid safe at all. Food is great, but I'm sorry to say the service quite slow on these occasions (took 45minutes to come clear our table after eating ...and we had to ask them to do so)
R. l. t.
I recommend! I am french so, I can be picky with food but I really enjoyed my brunch not too greasy or not enough, great coffee ❤️. Also really nice people despite being rush hours they took the time to answer my questions and with a smile ☺️ and thank you
W. P.
Had a very nice tea for two with my friend Rachael it took us 2 hours to eat it there was so much, very enjoyable. Would recommend 👌 value for money it was there classic tea for two.
T. D.
Awesome food ..generous portions Lee the chef I met makes an effort to go the extra mile..Amy the manager omg she was fantastic & well suited to the role..other staff attentive & friendly....if you get chance to go there please do you will not be disappointed...well done Trinity Square...we will be back...thank you amazing team 🥰🥰
f. s.
Went to Nottingham for the day fancied having something sweet ....Wow what I say the best ever...cookie dough is die very friendly staff definitely will return
A. A.
Poached eggs were overcooked, so won't recommend to get them. However, American style pancakes are really tasty
V. K.
The shakshuka was a little bland but their tiramisu pancakes were really good. It is great that they can make any dish vegetarian
L. L.
Helpful and Lovely service and AMAZING food with lots of gluten free and vegan options. We had the smashed avocados on toast and vegan smash and they were delicious. Would definitely recommend if you’re out in Nottingham and need quick and tasty food! - L&M

We came to Pudding pantry to celebrate a birthday with the afternoon tea and bottomless Prosecco.
We were not disappointed. The afternoon tea was delicious and we still had some left to take home. The Prosecco was lovely and served in a bottle in an ice bucket rather than by the glass. As soon as we’d finished one bottle another bottle was there in the ice bucket for us. The staff were great and very attentive to make the afternoon special.
We’ll certainly be back to try other items on the menu.
L. T.
Had an amazing time today for an afternoon tea for my mums 50th. They catered amazingly for my vegan family members and coeliac fiancé. I was worried their offering wouldn’t be as good but everyone left with takeaway boxes because there was so much. All of it was beyond delicious!
Also my little brother has quite extensive learning needs and gets a bit fussy with food - the staff were incredible and made him a ham and cheese sandwich as he wasn’t keen on the afternoon tea food (my fault, I should have planned that it wouldn’t be to his taste) and helped him pick out some ice cream. The food was amazing but it was that amazing customer service that made the day.
Thank you to all and can’t wait to book another one!
V. A.
I enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. However due to the hard surfaces it was very noisy which spoilt the experience.
Z. N.
Perfection!
Food quality and variety, service and staff .. everything was perfect. We LOVED this place!
S. N.
One of the cutest and most lovely brunch places in Nottingham. We ordered the lamb feta hash which I personally loved but was quite salty but still delicious. I replaced the fried egg with a poached egg which was perfectly done. The pancakes with the eggs Benedict was a nice touch and quite delicious. The extra sourdough was great and was served with some good butter. We ordered a red velvet cookie dough too which was incredibly rich, but very tasty regardless (could barely finish it it was so rich). I have heard the Eton mess is also meant to be very good so I am excited to try it next time I go. The Pimms was incredible and I definitely recommend getting a jug or two. Overall a lovely brunch place with great desserts too - worth a visit for sure.
L. B.
Today was my first time here, but I will be returning. Enjoy the atmosphere. Good range of desserts all presented nicely and tasted great. Great place to catch up with friends.
S. L.
Had to wait 40 minutes for a table. Staff were friendly and helpful although the service was slow. Breakfast was delicious, but the quantity was small. Would expect at least 2 sausages at that price.
W.
Very impressed. The nicest coffee and breakfast I've ever had. Worth every penny over your standard Wetherspoons stuff. Very high quality, very clean premises, and friendly and professional staff. Will be making it a regular spot.
T. N.
Had a lovely experience at The Pudding Pantry, Trinity Square. A shout out to Anthony who couldn't have done more for us. His customer service was outstanding. The Eggs Benedict was fantastic and the freakshakes and cakes were out of this world. Altogether we had a very enjoyable experience, thank you! :)
A. S.
Fantastic service. The food is delicious, well-priced and aesthetically pleasing overall contributing towards an excellent service. The waiter Matt was very out-going and friendly who made the service enjoyable despite the uncontrollable circumstances of the weather. As a student myself I can happily say Pudding Pantry is worth the money.
T. U.
My daughter treated me to a Mothering Sunday lunch which was absolutely delicious. We are never disappointed when we visit.
M.
Great breakfast and coffee!! I recommend smashed avocado with cherry tomatoes 😋❤️
B.
Lovely spot for breakfast, always lovely service!
E. C.
Very friendly service, with really nice desserts. Eating there now, would highly recommend :)
j. s.
Had an amazing time, great staff and good value for money
C. T.
What a fabulous place. Service excellent as was the food. Great atmosphere too.
L. S.
Love this place! Popped in for just a coffee this morning, Lee Is very friendly and makes lovely coffee! Very shocked to see some 1 star reviews on here during this time, the whole catering industry has suffered immensely; people need to be more kind! You are awesome guys! Keep doing what you do 😊
P. C.
Afternoon tea the English way. Three tier cake stands and ‘proper’ tea with leaves- served in cups. It’s almost quaint nowadays. Understandably busy place with a multitude of mainly sweet offerings. Great location in a busy part of Nottingham underneath Trinity Square multi storey car park. Recommended
G. G.
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Lee and Grace. Who were amazing at serving us and helping us celebrate my mum’s 40th birthday yesterday for bottomless Brunch. The atmosphere and staff were all so kind. The food was also very delicious. Thank you all so so much! We will be back😉
w. 1.
The staff working here are very nice and helpful. The food is amazing and price worthy and most importantly the atmosphere is quite casual and relaxing, perfect for when you're looking for places to have a comfortable chat with your friends.
J. H.
Delicious and plenty of choice with delicious vegan options. So friendly and atmosphere is lovely
H. L.
Brilliant breakfast with pancakes.
Milkshakes as well!!! But the cake 🍰 comes with the milkshake is a bit too sweet for morning.
A. p.
Amazing place to eat family friendly dog friendly. Everyone polite well mannered
M.
I love this place! You can go for breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails, coffee&cake and many many more. And staff is very friendly 👌
C. H.
The staff, atmosphere and food is absolutely amazing. The afternoon tea here made us feel so very special as the staff were really attentive and the cakes and tea just delicious. You get a real sense of pride and willing to help from all the staff and they made the afternoon. Even booking when I had issues, they were more than forthcoming about allowing me time to sort it out.
Then again on a different visit, the staff were brilliant once more and the food spectacular. We had the loaded pancakes and you get a lot of good for your money. It was all well cooked and tasted great.
I wholly recommend this for afternoon tea and for brunch food. Will be visiting again soon
R. V.
Staff friendly and helpful. Food really enjoyable and a good choice available. A lovely relaxed bite to eat in town, in between shopping bouts, the ambience was chilled.
Slight downside was that had to queue and thought we'd been forgotten, this was soon remedied by being inside in such a friendly atmosphere.
S. W.
Filling breakfast with excellent pancakes and plenty to choose from for those with a sweet tooth. Very popular but worth the wait
L. V.
Always has a q of people and gets really crowded some times you have to wait a while for food . Not as good as the one at Beeston .
D. P.
Absolutely delightful food and very filling, my girlfriend and I liked how the menu looked and were surprised by how tasty everything was and would recommend to anyone for breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea or any kind of desert!
T. R.
The actual cakes and coffee were great but the host had no initiative and left people standing in the queue despite there being open tables outside. This was because the first group didn't want to sit outside so the assumption was noone would want to. After that, was good.
M. I.
THE best vegan breakfast I’ve had in a long time, it was absolutely delicious. Home made beans, toasts with avocado, tofu scramble and cherry tomatoes 💔 My friend’s pancakes also looked great. Stuff was nice
Y. P.
staffs were nice but the brownie was normal
E. S.
Such amazing staff at the Pudding Pantry Nottingham this morning. They were all so positive and it made sitting outside (even with a little bit of rain) so enjoyable! I had to rush off and they put my food in a takeaway container so quickly and couldn’t do enough to help - thank you all so much!
D. A.
Amazing food great coffee
Very friendly staff and helpful too
Definitely recommend
Very professional over all
R. B.
Very nice brunch today! Quick and attentive service, quality food and a genuine smile! Was served by Grace, and I must say, she made my day! I'll definitely be back
D. B.
We was sat there for ages to get served even though the waiters were serving all the new customers that walked in, I kept waving at them and they kept ignoring me until my friend had to walk to front for to be served which was odd as we was the only customers that had to do that. Lastly when our food came out the plates smelt so bad that we didn’t finish for our food but we did pay and told the staff and they did not even seem to care or acknowledge the problems.
Disappointed for someone that goes there a lot.
R. G.
Excellent service. Afternoon tea is amazing! Sausage rolls were fantastic <3
S. M.
I'm not a big dessert person but my girlfriend had a couple of their small sweet treats and said they were incredible, I ordered the scrambled eggs and I'm not exaggerating when I say they were the best scrambled eggs of my life. I still think about them and this was over a year ago. Can't recommend this place enough! The staff were all lovely and the food was incredible!
L. A.
Absolutely amazing! Delicious food with reasonable prices! All of the staff were so amazing and joyful even in the rain. Our server matt really topped of our experience, shall definitely be returning!
A.
Their pancake choices are incredible, been here so many times and never had a bad experience. Wish they would bring back the mini eggs pancakes they had 2 easters ago! Staff are very friendly and helpful
C. B.
The food was delicious & the service was first class. Shall definitely be returning.
L. F.
Placed an order for the vegetarian afternoon tea as a well done gift for my step daughter who is away at University in Nottingham.
The website is so easy to use , plenty of delivery slots ,text to track the taxi for delivery and the food was amazing. In fact , she said the scones were the best she had ever had.
C. R.
Stumbled upon this place by accident with a mild hangover and in need of calories. Lovely staff, really nice bustling atmosphere, and the potato cakes are to die for. Will certainly return.
A. D.
Me and my partner really love this little place. It's cute and quaint. Very friendly staff and we have found the service to be good on every visit. Food/drink well presented and enjoyable. Generous portions also. Prices I would say are on par with other places in the city, but the quality here is good, homemade sweet treats, chilli jam etc not shop brought.
The only down side I would say is that the tables are very close together.
Maybe Pudding Pantry needs a bigger space?
H. M.
Went to the Sherwood location last weekend and had an issue with the dish not being vegetarian when the menu said it was. The staff were really apologetic and concerned about the issue. They really listened to the problem and made sure to make amends so it wouldn’t happen again. As an apology I was offered an afternoon tea, which was absolutely lovely. They really looked after me and overall, I had a great experience. They seem like a company that really do care about customer feedback and providing a great experience, so I really couldn’t recommend them enough. Will definitely be returning.
F. L.
Had my first experience at the pudding pantry today.
Brunch was splendid, flavours were on point and the price was reasonable.
Moving onto dessert, definitely can't complain. The honeycomb and salted caramel ice cream complimented the soft, buttery pancakes so well. I would return just for the dessert.
The service was very friendly and you can see the owner takes great pride in ensuring customers are satisfied. Overall a great place to eat in town and I would definitely come back.
J. K.
If you're in Nottingham, you simply MUST come here. The staff are passionate about their menu, which is an ever-changing selection of mouth-watering, freshly prepared desserts. Try their signature salted caramel brownies! The coffee here is absolutely delicious. My wife and I come here most weekends and always receive a warm welcome.
You'll usually find it super-busy, and it's popular with good reason. It's worth a short wait to be seated. If you want the 3-tiered cake stand and cream tea experience you need to book ahead with 24 hours' notice because everything is made fresh to order. This is the best way to ensure you get a table as ordinary visits cannot be booked.
The bacon and scrambled eggs here on sourdough toast are to die for.
J. C.
I feel that I should leave a review about the Pudding Pantry. After being let down from a Geletto restaurant that was closed, we ended up at the Pudding Pantry for dessert, the staff were very helpful and accommodating to our plight, we wanted a ice-cream sundae but they didn't have any on the menu, so the staff went out of there way and made up two ice-cream sundaes for us, they were very tasty. Hats off to the staff for customer service. Well worth a visit. Thank you Pudding Pantry, you made our evening.
S. T.
Went on a Saturday morning with friends. Great service and staff were very helpful but the full pantry breakfast was just ok. Would definitely go back but probably at a quieter time as it was packed!
S. B.
I was a tourist visiting a friend, and she suggested visiting The Pudding Pantry. Definitely a great choice, because this place has some of the best desserts I've had. (And this was one of the most memorable meals on our trip.) We split the tasting platter for two. The caramelized banana sticky toffee pudding was fabulous. You can't go wrong with the cheesecake either. Eat here!
S.
A must-go for brunch in Nottingham city centre. Been here a few times and always been a pleasure. Pancakes are always a good bet but their savoury breakfasts are also delicious. Staff are always really friendly and the place has a really good vibe to sit and enjoy a coffee.
P. R.
The Pudding Pantry do amazing breakfasts. The staff were quite willing to accomm9date me with tailoring the most important meal of the day, from their vegetarian options. The decor is light and airy and the atmosphere is relaxed. The staff are polite and welcoming. My breakfast was yummy and so was the price. I highly recommend The Pudding Pantry.
O. A.
Nice staff and great services. Really recommend it
K. A. J.
Really amazing place. Very comfortable, food was absolutely amazing as well as service, all waiting staff were so patient and friendly. Food did not take long to arrive. More gluten free options would've been appreciated such as gf pancakes. Otherwise, really great experience.
L. R.
Always a warm welcome from the team at the Pudding Pantry. Have been a fan since the day they opened and they just keep on going from strength-to-strength. Good coffee, delicious cakes and sweet treats, lovely breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu and the late nights with wine and dessert are great. Would highly recommend.
C. R.
Absolutely love it here, have been coming consistently for the last 3 years! Recently we went to the new Pudding Pantry lates, which is was absolutely stunning, and offers an alternative to busy, loud bars after a meal! We also got a 10% discount with the receipt from the meal we'd had before we arrived which was a lovely gesture. Love supporting Nottingham independents and this place really is among the best!!
t.
had a delicious brunch blueberry pancakes and smoked salmon granary toast. I was left to doodle in my sketchbook in peace, cool chilled out feel. Great friendly anticipatory service by a young waitress working there. My only critique is that they could do with a couple less tables there to make it more spacious.
s. p.
incredible food! our server Matt was lovely and made the temperamental weather so worth it! definitely will return and be recommending to friends
E. B.
Really cosy place to have some even cosier food. Not the cheapest place going but the portions are generous and the quality is very good. Really enjoyed this place
M. P.
We liked most of our desserts but the 'custard' that was offered was pretty much cream. Also, sticky toffee pudding wasn't very sticky.
Nice vibe and service was very quick, so would come back again.
J. H.
First visit here with my partner today, also first day of opening after the lockdown, we were seated outside and ordered two lattes and cheese on toast, the coffee was superb and the cheese on toast was fresh and very tasty, what impressed us the most was the service we received, the two gentleman that served us were called Lee and Anthony, they were so attentive and full of cheer, what a breath of fresh air to see staff members actually enjoying there job, nothing was to much trouble, a complete credit to the company, thank you to you both, will definitely be returning and recommending to others.
E. N.
Just walked by the place but it looks welcoming

Different to the usual breakfast choices, we enjoyed Eggs benedict and pancakes with fruit, it's a popular place as it got full quickly on the morning we visited.
J. J.
Nice idea but needs a larger range of puddings and extended opening hours. It closes too early if you want something in the evening. For afternoon tea it's fine if you can find a table. It's always been too busy to get a seat when I've visited. Might be worth calling to book in advance if you plan to visit.

Very cute place to visit and the dessert was gorgeous!

A really nice place over near the Victoria Centre. Good food, decent coffee, amazing milkshakes! The salted caramel brownie milkshake is particularly excellent.
Very family friendly so we often head over when we're all in town.
C. L.
Helpful staff and the puddings are very large! Some of the flavour balances and combos aren't quite there, though.

This is a lovely warm place

The breakfast is great my husband loves it

I went in with my friend for a mid day snack and was wowed by the different choices they offer. They do savoury aswell as sweet. Really friendly staff who helped very helpful and accommodating. Lovely layout and decor, although it did feel a bit tight for space. I would definitely go back to try the rest of the menu.

The best coffee!! Great service, delicious food. A delightful place to visit when you're in Nottingham!
B. I.
Just had blueberry pancakes and a latte for breakfast..yumm!!
Today is my 3rd time coming to this place since i arrived in Nottingham almost 2 month ago..
I voted pudding pantry as my no 1 favourite cafe for their friendly smile, delicious food (home taste) and great ambience..
Thank you guys for making me feel home

We had the festive afternoon tea for a large party and it was great. Really yummy and interesting sandwiches and cakes, and staff were really friendly. Vegans and veggies were well catered for too. Thanks!

Had brunch today was absolutely beautiful, the staff were so attentive and friendly, we had our newborn in tow and the staff made us feel really welcome, I would fully recommend the food here to anybody, they even have vegan and gluten free menus for those of you who are in need of a tasty treat, I will definitely be going back there again hopefully in the near future,
Keep up the good work guys thank you so much
B. K.
Ohhh, the (home made bean's) on toast with cheese and bacon delicious. could not manage a cake/pudding (next time) but they are huge
A.
Ordered an afternoon tea for my son and his girlfriend as a surprise, they said it was gorgeous and will be ordering again. It was delivered bang on time too. Thank you
E. L.
Being a long term fan, I (once again) came in for tea (being quite a fanatic) and Natalia is a qualified tea expert! She brought out my Dragon Well green tea + cake, came back and chatted more about tea and even wrote down a few recommendations for me. Thoroughly impressed with the service and produce available on offer.
H. T.
Food was amazing, atmosphere is lovely, decor is beautiful. Ask the till for the WiFi password.
There's a few small steps to get to seating so it's not wheelchair friendly but with a bit of determination you could probably still get up.

Love this place. I'm a regular visitor for anafternoon coffee and cake treat, occasionally if I'm Nottingham early I'll go for breakfast. Staff are always warm and friendly, coffee is excellent and food is super tasty.

To the cute server with the ponytail and highlights in your fringe, tight jeans, pinks sock and black trainers.
You are a star and it was lovely to meet you. Thank you for your service x
J. H.
Great family run place, delicious coffees and hot chocolate. Brilliant for brunch and uses fresh local ingredients. So much better than a chain cafe!!
E. B.
I recently came to a 'pudding pantry lates' and shared the dessert platter for two with wine and what a treat it was! Excellent desserts paired perfectly with a selection of dessert wines. Will definitely be returning!

Such a nice little place. all the food was fresh, got scrambled eggs on toast with smoked salmon then a brownie and ice cream. everything fresh and not stale loved it
E. G.
We went for ice-cream. The orange sorbet and mango sorbet were sor-better than expected at quenching my thirst for refreshment on a fine day in April. The strawberries and cream ice-cream made me scream, like something out of a dream.
Let down by the cone *full stop*
R. W.
Fantastic, ordered a selection of cakes for my grandson's birthday, delivered bang on time, many thanks to Anthony who was most helpful with the ordering process!
T. H.

Lovely big tasty portions and friendly staff, I'm not a huge fan of sweet pancakes with savoury toppings, but otherwise lovely place to eat brunch with friends. Loaded pancakes and loaded drinks are spectacular! (Pictured are the salted caramel brownie loaded pancakes)
