Like egg? Go Yolk. Good service with indoor and outdoor seating. Food is well presented and tasty enough. It's a good angle to provide egg based cuisine (vegan also provided for). It's a little pricey for the portion size imho.

I hired Yolk for my birthday party and we had the best night. Will couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly with the initial party planning; with timely responses to emails and questions, wine tasting and bespoke bar menus created for me. On the night the food was delicious and plentiful; the cocktails beautifully served all night and we were able to play our own music, which was great. Every guest commented on how brilliant the venue and staff were. Honestly, I can’t recommend Yolk and the 31K team highly enough. After initially struggling to find a venue in Nottingham, I am so grateful for finding this gem of a place and we’ll most certainly be back!

Food was good and despite being a little busy (Saturday morning) the service was excellent. I'm awkward, not by nature - however they were happy to cater to my needs without any fuss, which isn't always the case. Credit where it's due. Happily go back next time I'm in Nottingham.

If you like eggs, come here! The menu is limited, but that makes it great. Pick your base (e.g. toast), pick your style of egg & pick your topping. I went for the sourdough toast with soft boiled eggs and bacon, delicious! I will be coming back!

Ordered poached eggs on a bagel with garlic mushrooms and maple bacon. Portion was decent and tasted amazing. The coffee was lovely. I really enjoy Nottingham cafe scene it's stepping up its game. One little thing is that the cafe was a little cold for this chilly autumn weather at the moment.

Cracking place, if you'd pardon the pun. Great coffee, attentive service and decent food, all be it a tad cold. Still, you need to have the maple bacon. Hollandaise was excellent. Verging on hipster (the place, not the hollandaise).

Do you like eggs for breakfast? This is your place! We went on a Sunday at around 10am, it wasn't full so we sat down without waiting. Basically you choose the style you want your eggs cooked, the bread, as many toppings as you want and voilà, you have your order done. My scrambled eggs, with salmon & avocado with sauce on the side were delicious. My gf went for bagel but they didn't have any so instead they served the eggs on crumpets, which is absolutely fine but I think they should have let her know. We also had a cappuccino and a tea. In the end we paid £22 which is really good for Hockley, good quality food and ingredients and very nice and attentive staff. We will totally go again but probably on a warm day as my gf felt the place was a bit cold.

Best service! We went to yolk almost every morning while visiting Nottingham. Great food, fresh, great drinks and the most amazing coffee made by Sydney! The service was great, so hospitable and welcoming each time. Definitely recommend yolk. Also super aesthetic food and decor.

Just had the most AMAZING breakfast! Poached egg, smashed avocado, bacon and spicy beans on sourdough toast!!! The atmosphere is so lovely as are the staff!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Nice new little coffee spot, I bet they do more but I just got coffee. I got a large latte ( w 2 shots espresso instead 3 per my request) and their caramel syrup and omg, so delicious!!!! P.s - music could do with being turned down a smidge as it's right next to where u pay so I couldn't hear barrista x

The guy was polite and kind and there is a choice of milks to have with coffee or hot chocolate drinks. I had coconut milk for my latte. It was very nice. Little expensive for coffee though really. If it is cheaper then you get more customers. Some people cannot afford these luxuries but want to dine out sometimes. Please just bring the price down a little. £2.80 for coffee is little expensive for the area it is in.

Yolk is in Hockley and belongs to the same people that own the 31k Cocktail bar (situated next door). The place itself is very clean and welcoming with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. There is an extensive ‘breakfast’ menu and the food was delicious; well cooked and nicely presented. Overall a very enjoyable experience and if you’re in the vicinity it’s well worth a visit.

Best coffee in town! It's smooth and subtle in a way that I've never had before. I love the simple structure of the menu too. Had a brie and grape sandwich and it had a really good amount of filling which is rare!

Food was so good!!! Maple bacon.... Just omg.... Service was great, the guy was really lovely and polite. Only issue is its quite pricey and ended up costing my mum quite a bit for two adults and two children. Oh and they should maybe consider adding a children's menu with child appropriate prices, they did well to accommodate us but it would be better if there was an option or two for children specifically. Seriously though.... The bacon 🤤

A small, simply furnished and spotlessly clean cafe a short walk from the city centre. Serving quality egg based breakfasts based around your choice of eggs, bread and additional items at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly, the coffee is good and they have had grsat music on the stereo everytime i have visited Recommended
