Amazing coffee, and their avocado toast is best I’ve had in town! Quickly became my wife and I’s favourite cafe. We’re both fans of their latte, but the filter coffee is also great and they have options changing occasionally to get a new feel! If you’re in town, Coffeesmith is a MUST visit place (and it doesn’t hurt to visit more than once) The owner and staff are also super friendly, and eventually memorised our order from our frequent visits. There’s plenty seating (indoor and outdoor), cozy atmosphere and in the winter you’ll find fairy lights in their windows (to quote my wife: “very instagrammable!”) They also have doggie treats available, so can even bring your furry friend for a visit. You can’t go wrong if you go to Coffeesmith.

Tucked away just off the bustling city centre streets this was a glorious find. As someone wanting a decent coffee that was unique and local, had a buzz about the place yet was warm and welcoming, this ticked all the boxes. Would highly recommend.

I was showing my grandfather around Oxford and while we were waiting for our slot with the guide, I went in search of a smaller coffee place. I saw this one tucked away in this small street just off the main street. The staff were superb a day the coffee was quite nice. Give it a go next time you are at Oxford.

Popped in for a quick drink whilst visiting Mold. An absolute must. The iced Mocha was insanely good and the chocolate caramel brownie was the best I’ve ever ever tasted. Amazing job guys. Forget Costa and Starbucks. This place is where to get great coffee!

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to try out a local independent coffee shop, where I discovered Coffeesmith and have never looked back. They serve fantastic coffee especially there flat white! They have an incredibly friendly staff team and owner. The location of the shop is perfect, being right in the city centre and is an ideal venue to do some work. I have managed to complete many university reports and my dissertation while working in this coffee shop, I cannot recommend it highly enough, I implore anyone in the area or visiting Oxford for the day to try coffeesmith, you will not be disappointed! They even accept dogs, what more could you want for a coffee shop! without a doubt, this is the best coffee shop I've ever visited.

this is LITERALLY the best hidden gem coffee shop in oxford!! not even just for their coffee, sandwiches too but the CAKES are insane, even cakes you wouldn’t expect to be gluten free or vegan (i deffo recommend rose and pistachio gluten free cake), the staff are the most friendly and welcoming, the best comfort cafe in oxford for food, music and good energy!! really is a 10/10 place, you won’t want to go anywhere else after, thank u coffeesmith <3 ps its dog friendly!!!! what more can you ask for in a coffee shop??

I’ve lived in Oxford for 4 years. Coffeesmith is far and away the best place to get your coffee, and doubles as a fantastic spot for students to study in an environment that’s peaceful and quiet, while also being enjoyable. The playlists are excellent; everyone seems to have a smile on their face when they come here; and the vibes are heartwarming. I will miss it dearly. More than anything, the staff make Coffeesmith what it is. Even during my finals, I was in excellent spirits, and they all had a huge part to play in that. Reu and Ellie, thank you! I’ll be back (most likely ordering way too many cortados!).

I have found my perfect student coffee and laptop hang out ! It is just off the high street so you are the middle of the city but you cannot hear any noise and enter this quiet world with traditional English buildings. The staff were just so amazing, lovely and accommodating. Such genuinely nice people. We were a large student party who came and sat in one of the corners of the shop and had the most amazing time - it was so cosy and beautiful with the fairy lights and everyone liked their cakes and hot drinks.

Simple is better. I popped in to try this place out. You can't fault the taste and range of coffees. The issue lies in the overly fussy brownies: pretzels protruding out of one, chocolates embedded in another, it all points to a confused menu. Two classic brownie/blondie options with the pastries would suit the coffee menu better.

Good quality range of coffees and snacks. We had a peanut butter millionaires' shortbread and a pastrami-based grilled sandwich (with good flavour garnish/sauce), clearly prepared freshly on site. Appears they have every kind of milk available (not a priority for me) and they show of a variety of woven samples/art which is quite different!

Had an amazing flat white during lockdown so decided to go again for a cortado today. However the service was slow - one customer had to ask for a refund due to the long waiting times and staff was not making the right drinks to order. My cortado was disappointing. Saw the barista scooping milk foam onto espresso, which is probably not the most conventional way of making cortado according to my limited coffee knowledge. Team is amazing in responding to feedback! They dm’d me on Insta saying necessary actions have been taken to address the above problems. Can’t wait to visit again!

Coming from NYC I have a decently high standard for coffee, and I can confidently say Coffeesmith has by far one of the best dirty chais I've ever had, in Oxford and beyond. The baristas here put care and attention into making each drink, and you truly leave feeling valued as a customer. Highly recommend!
