Reviews of NATA Lisboa
J. C.
Can't beat a nata. Lovely small cafe if you ever find yourself having to visit the passport office!
A.
What a wonderfully friendly and delightful place. Great coffee and excellent sweet and savoury Portuguese treats. Good wifi. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Peterborough.
J.
The Portuguese Tart was excellent.
The Tuna Pie and the Spinach Feta Pie was very good.
Not awarding five stars because the Cappuccino was quite mild, though I love Medium Roast even then I found it weak.
Overall a good experience and I recommend this place for their food for sure.
M. N.
The best Portuguese custard tarts (Pasteis de Nata) I’ve tasted. Granted I’ve never visited Portugal, but out of all the ones I’ve had in the U.K., this is the best.
R. S.
Mandatory stop for a nata and a coffee on our motorhome trips 🙂
Very friendly staff and good food. Recommended!
M. P.
Quick to take order, good value and friendly atmosphere, lovely food, li e the warm Portuguese tarts
A. H.
Brilliant place for fantastic food and coffee. Always accommodating, great service and the best Portuguese tart in Peterborough.
Will definitely be visiting more often
J. B.
Nice coffee shop in Peterborough with pastries and coffee from my country (Portugal). Sadly the worker there wasn't very nice to us
K. L.
One of my favourite places to have lunch in Peterborough the nata is to die for and their drinks are great had hot chocolates and cappuccinos there 10/10 would give more stars if I could.
M. B.
Had some nice pastel de natas and a latte. Very good service good value for money. Outside seating.
M. H.
Very nice place with pleasant staff
P. H.
Really tasty and authentic Portuguese cafè. Pork sandwich, custard tart and a glass of super bock. All you need!
G. k.
Coffee was good along with chicken wings and fry.
M. F. A. E.
Lovely coffee and staff. Cool restaurant
T. D.
Pastel de Nata was perhaps the best I've had....Good coffee
k. S.
Very friendly staff and nice food.
T. S.
Best "Pasteis de Nata" I had in England. The place is nice and comfortable and the staff very friendly.
J. A. (.
This place is Amazing, staff a friendly and chatty, food is outstanding reminds me when I went on holiday to Portugal, it tastes just like Portugal,
I think I'm going to start going there every Saturday morning or Sunday morning it's so nice.
Strongly recommend you get a Nata form there, best ones I've ever tasted in the city
A. Z.
Absolutely delicious - recommend the sardine salad and of course the Natas!
P. F.
Very nice meal, cosy comfy space and friendly staff
G.
Good coffee in sensible sized cups (ie not super sized) and excellent cakes and pastries. Nice, friendly atmosphere and comfortable.
H. B.
Great little place with a unique offer. The little custard tarts are fantastic covered in cinnamon and it's too easy to go back for a second. Good coffee and good service round things off nicely.
C. G.
Very good service and amazing food
L. F. S.
The best ever! Good price. Worth the waiting.
B. C.
Good coffee and tasty pastry. Loved the pastel de nata.
G. N.
Nata Lisboa is conveniently placed just around the corner from the city centre.
The menu offers a good selection of hot and cold drinks (coffees, teas as well as sangria and some alcoholic beverages) as well as sandwiches and some sweet treats.
I’ve been here on a few occasions for lunch or simply just a nata and a coffee and genuinely the food is amazing and great value for money. The natas are always fresh and served warm. Coffee is well prepared and considering that’s not the main focus for this place, it’s better than some so-called competitor “coffee houses” in Peterborough.
My only comment is that the clientele of the place can be off putting sometimes. On occasion I’ve found myself surrounded by quite loud, “outspoken” customers which can feel a bit odd.
G. F.
Fabulous food and coffee. Custard tarts to die for!
r. f.
Nice place to enjoy a expresso and a pastel de nata
S. A.
New to this quiet city centre café. Have to say a very pleasant surprise. Coffee was perfect, staff warm and friendly. Cakes way too tempting and a little on the expensive side - though looking very worth it! Will be going back for a second look, having a cake (or two). Also good to see them accepting various payment types. Very encouraging. 😊
M. M.
By far the best place to eat the traditional "pastel de nata" in England!
(Pastel de nata, is a Portuguese egg tart pastry)
J. M.
Nice food - we had the large Iberica platter which was good for two people to share. The cakes are excellent and many people come just for the coffee and cake. Service was a little slow - I think they had to go shopping when we ordered our food! Chairs are totally worn out.
A. K.
Wonderful morning, the best coffee.😊
K.
You should try those traditional Portuguese custard cakes. You will fall in love.
M. T.
A taste of Portugal as you would have if you were there. This chain is quite popular in that country
S. G.
I can't fault this coffee shop. Great food. Great atmosphere and fantastic coffee. It is as close as you can get to Portugal without leaving Peterborough. My kids love it and happy to be a loyal customer for over 2 years.
M. S.
My first time in this place I've found walking to the market. I've tried one of the traditional convent sweets and it tasted so good. Reasonable price for a coffee and cake (£3.80). Great location in the city centre. Wide range of food and drinks.
K. G.
Very friendly Portuguese Cafe.
I go very often and have just completed and redeemed my first loyalty card (10 visits ) which earned me a free Latte.
The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The cafe is open very long hours.
( last night Friday 19th January till 10 pm)
They serve a very wide.range of food, salads available so can call vegetarian options.
Good for parties.
I have a stick and manage very well.
Wheelchair access available.
Children welcome. Range of soft drinks and also alcohol as Spirits and Wines from Portugal (bottled).
Great ice cream I have tried it. Outstanding.
Service from counter and then delivered to your table.
S. R.
Really, really lovely coffee. Good place for business catch up but even better to relax in the comfy bucket chairs and catch up with friends or just enjoy the ambience. Plan to go for lunch asap - the Portuguese tapas-y thing looks amazing!
D.
What can I say, as someone who grew up on similar food I was very satisfied with my breakfast there with the family. I had a very nice pork loin sandwich (it was baguette type bread) with tomato rubbing, a coffee, fruit and an orange juice. I felt as if I was eating at a local café back home, with the small difference of language being Portuguese instead of Spanish.
And the little bit I had of the Nata pastry was beautiful, I recommend it as an afternoon snack though.
Т. Р.
Tasty food. But sometimes some products is run out. need to carefully plan the reserves
M. Z.
Very tasty. Nata and coffee. Polite staff members, was served by the owner and other lady. Nice atmosphere and good looking menu. Would def come back and recommend to my friends . Thank you ♥️
G.
Best Nata I have tasted, period. No such thing as over indulgence in these. Good coffee and friendly staff. Great location near the cathedral. A must go place when in Peterborough.
C. R.
My mom loves this place so took me last week. Great coffee and Portuguese tarts.
B. T.
Good (International) Portuguese coffee, nice atmosphere for chill and you can order many things from their menu is rich.
Also lovely service.
C. M.
Excellent cafe for breakfast, ask for the breakfast deal to get beautifully thick toast, great coffee and one of the signature nata (custard tart) to start your day. I'm a visitor to Peterborough, but can see this place is a favourite of the community and the staff are incredibly friendly, and give great service. Go here instead of the usual chains and you won't ever be disappointed.
C. Y.
Delicious Portuguese food and drink. Friendly staff
N.
Love it. Great atmosphere, great staff and good prices. A perfect place to relax or in my case study. The breakfasts are really nice and the coffee is good.
K. L.
Really like their Pastelle du Natta & a coffee. Nice staff all helpful & cheerful.
V. J.
We had a nice breakfast in the morning ! I loved the freshly squeezed orange juice and the pastel de nata!
S. S.
Very friendly and popular Portuguese restaurant offering a lovely range of unique-to-Peterborough dishes. Great breakfast and lunch options, very tasty and healthy too. I can really recommend the platters, really great for sharing and everything on the menu looks and sounds delicious. They have one of the best coffees in town and also offer a range of alcoholic drinks including wine and of course the famous delicious Portuguese Pastel de nata, a very much better version of a custard tart.
P. C.
Great little café. Brilliant service. Will be coming again. X
T. S.
I love this Portuguese cafe; try the local pastry. The staff is very friendly. The place is okay to work from, there is one 2-seat table near the power supply. It's vibrant and at noon it canbe busy. I like it
P. C.
Brilliant service. Excelent food . This was my first visit but I can't wait to return.
F. R.
Very expensive. But friendly people.
K. S. K.
Charming Portuguese cafe nice places for a quiet chat with friends. Food was interestingly different. We had dinner mini savoury pies which were delicious, as well as a visit tart and expresso which hit the spot.
J. M.
Amazing spot. I stopped for a coffee and a nata. The nata was delicious as was the coffee. Obrigada I'll be back very soon
P. S.
Amazing Nata. Definitely a place to taste and remember the portuguese flavour.
Kind staff.
D. S.
Nice and friendly place.
Food and drink was very good.
Had a set meal consisting of sandwich, 1/2 pint of beer (superbok), pastrie cake and an expresso coffee.
Would of given 5 stars but the half a pint of beer came in a 200ml glass.
P. A. d. L.
As a portuguese I can say that those Natas are between the best ones, and now they've improved the menu offering more options which is very good for who looks for an alternative for lunch or just a light meal. It's getting a bit expensive now but if you can afford to have lunch in a regular coffee shop I guess you'll be fine here.
L. T.
Coffee is excellent staff friendly atmosphere great . Would recommend to anyone .
V. F.
Got the full Portuguese experience eating natas and having my expresso. Nice professional people.
D. I.
Very friendly staff, if you like the European way of chatting with nice people you met for the first time visit it. The coffee and the nata is very tasty.
C. B.
Love this place. The food (Especially the nata) is lovely and they do the nicest cup of tea in town! Great continental feel, helpful staff, can't fault it
E. G.
Staff have very positive and cheerful attitude towards their clients. I totally loved the NATA.
I have already recommended this place to my friends and we will definitely come to have a good time again.
G. D.
Very hood service and tasty food
M. W.
Good coffee and iced coffee. Prompt service. Warm enough to sit outside today.
L. M.
Great little cafe in Peterborough serving fantastic coffee and various Portuguese snacks. The Nata are some of the best I have had anywhere, highly recommended.
J. G.
Greate location, exactly in city centre good cafe in reasonable price, would recommend their bestseller (the nata cake) however dislike their choice of food, ok for quick branch with cafe and cake. Portuguese bar.
S. S.
Nice place to hang out with your friends and have some coffee paired with a nice Portuguese custard tart.
Good food, good environment, and a good place to kill the "saudade" if you're Portuguese
A. T.
