Had a lovely breakfast at Rico's, the service was amazing, it was 40° and he didn't even charge me for a cup of ice to go into my reusable waterbottle as we were leaving, would go again as was a very friendly and welcoming vibe 😀

This quaint coffee shop is a hidden gem hidden inside Rivergate shopping arcade. River arcade seems like quite an old building, so is a pleasure to step into & admire its archaeological merits anyway. We walked and were looking at the menu where we rescued by the manager as we were debating whether to walk on by. I am glad that we didn't as we ordered a vegetarian big breakfast, carrot cake and tea. When they say big they mean it. 3 eggs, 3 hash browns, steamed tomatoes, beans and toast. All for under a tenner! Quick (breakfast arrived within 5-10mins) value for money service and wonderful courteous, staff. What is there not to just love about this place?

I've been coming here for the last few Saturdays to have my breakfast and I must say. Its always been fantastic. The food is always served fast and every time has been delicious. Prices are great for what you get and the staff are always friendly and happy to acclimated to requests. Do try the large breakfast!

Absolutely love this cafe. Me and my wife come here most times we are in town. I always get egg, ham, chips and beans and I love it, the food from here is really delicious. The cafe is clean and the staff are great, really friendly people. They have a nice range of food on offer and plenty of seating. If you haven't been here, you must!

Enjoyed a lovely English breakfast here at this little cafe. They made a tasty Americano that hit the spot. The manager was very nice and attentive in his service to all guests, frequently coming out to the patio to check on everyone (which I’ve personally found extremely rare in England). I finished eating before most of the shops had opened, but they look good, so will return later.

I enjoyed a delicious English breakfast today at this place. I quite liked the decoration, it fits really well making one relaxed. The food was well cooked. Great deal £4.40. Just went there to give my CV in for work and before I did that, I looked around the shop and it was not a joke for the shop to exist like this because the place itself is very beautiful and stylish like an Italian coffee shop. I love the coffee shops style because the decor and the ambience fits very well. The staff aren't that bad because I handed my CV in which isn't complete and the employee himself at the till isn't rude or disrespectful, he just talks to you in a calm and friendly manner so I love that a lot. It reminds me back in my work experience in Luton that I did in college. One thing that surprises me is that even elderly people come here because of how peaceful the shop is and I just cannot deny it. They aren't that all bad since I've walked in so a huge thumbs up for that. Overall, the shop is really beautiful and I recommend it to anyone who loves fresh coffee because they serve that here. You deserve my 5 stars on this place. I don't mind the doors at all because that's not a problem.

A pleasant cafe with excellent value prices. There is a broad selection of sandwiches, baguettes, toasties, jacket potatoes, salads, burgers, all day breakfasts, soups, specials and more. A wide range of hot and cold drinks are also offered. Staff are friendly and the service is very good. Food is very good for the cost and everywhere was clean.

It was the restaurant I visited when I first came to Peterborough in 2013. The food has always been good and the price is reasonable. Staff are friendly too so I do recommend people to have breakfast, afternoon tea or Sunday roast here!

Great place to eat even if gluten free. Messaged and said only jackets were offered. But when i saw menu and board realised the person who messaged didnt know what gf people cud eat. We can eat mostvthings but wheat, rye, barley and some oats are aproblem for them. I hd ham eggs beans and chips. I probably cud of had a roast without the gravy and stuffing.
