Great mocha and lovely cakes available. Situated on the main floor of the library with easy access to the toilets and the whole of the building.
Friendly staff and quick service.
Thank you 👍

A relaxed venue to get my head down and work with a supply of good coffee and cake. Does mixing with uni students make you more intelligent? That was my plan!

16/10/18 Unimpressed.
I usually enjoy this cafe - the drinks are cheap for students, and exactly what you'd expect.
However, today I was very unimpressed.
I was excited to see a 2-for-1 deal on hot drinks. As there was no limitation written on this sign, I would have been happy to order two large drinks, but apparently this deal only applies to regular drinks - fair enough, but it should have been stated on the sign.
Additionally, to make use of the student discount here, you have to scan your student card - again, this is fair enough. However, the till screen is in easy sight, and your full name and account details pop up on the screen when you scan the card. I personally do not want everyone in the cafe to see my details.
When I tried to leave the cafe, the staff insisted that I put plastic lids onto my drinks and wouldn't let me leave until I did. I find this unacceptable as someone who wants to cutdown on plastic use, at a university that is highly conscious of marine conservation. I am very upset that my plastic-free cafe experience suddenly became plastic-full.

Great place to grab a quick coffee when working 24/7 on your course work. I've used the space over 50 times and haven't once had a negative experience.

Hungry after looking at you PC or book to long look no further, they got drinks and some standard English triangle sandwiches and some normal ones too (Limited normal ones go fast).
Coffee available service good.
you can't sleep on the sofa but you welcome to eat there.
