J. E.We came for a breakfast this morning. All the staff are very friendly and clearly working extremely hard. The wait for food is over 30 mins- they've managed expectations right at the start. Clearly there seems to be a lack a staff numbers. I like the recent refurbishment in the cafe. Food was great. I would have given 5 stars review if Morrison would supply more staff.
L. P.Had a lovely breakfast here today! Vegan breakfast was LUSH! Good quality and ample portions. Losalina (hope I spelled that right!) was so lovely and helpful - it’s people like this that restore my faith in humanity. She’s a gem!
M. a. J. B.This is a large cafe offering good meals and cakes at excellent prices, the recently refurbished interior is a refreshing change to the other Morrison stores nationally. There is free wi-fi and charging points for mobile devices on some of the tables and the staff are friendly and helpful. Have been more than happy with everything on our visits here, also feel it is better than the average Morrisons cafe.
I. K.Only 4 star due to service that lets the place down massively. Have been twice this week- once earlier in the week when we were only 1 of 2 tables occupied. Had our hot drinks and had finished them by the time food have arrived and were offered to help ourselves to another. Came again today when it was much busier and waited 40minutes for our food, no apology or offer of another drink. Food was absolutely delicious but lukewarm unfortunately. Would still return but only for the fact the food is lovely, if the service was much quicker I would rate this off the scale. Atmosphere is lovely, cafe very cosy and inviting just need to seriously speed up the service. Would also recommend putting price of drinks from machines up so you could offer unlimited drinks to take pressure off of people having drinks go cold while waiting for food.
T. F.Whilst food was good the new automated system is not for those who arent computer savvy. You need to be on the ball when ordering or you will miss out ordering what you want. Its a slow process and would be much better handled by humans who are around to clear tables and bring food. New updated cafe is lovely and clean.
