A fun quirky experience, the place is jazzed up with other companies and there is a upbeat vibe to the place. Somewhere you would see a range of people to come for any occasion and A range on the menus to please anyone. I had a Terry's chocolate mocha and the Italian feast flatbread. Portion size is amazing and food is well priced too. I would go again for sure.

First time visiting Caffeine Club and i will definitely be returning, my partner and I only popped in with the intention of having a quick coffee as we'd just left 'The Box' attraction. After seeing the menu we couldn't resist the 2 pint milkshakes, not for the faint hearted lol, they were delicious. I look forwarded to returning again and trying more of what this place has to offer. The decor was amazing, its got a really quirky feel to the place.

Food is always a bit slow coming out in our experience. They do a wide variety of dishes which taste nice. Love the pint of tea! Daughter's always enjoy the milkshakes. Quirky decor and lovely seating inside and out.

Best place to go for some late-night food (and some cheeky extra drinks) after a night out. It has a completely unique atmosphere using old restaurant signs as decor. Good seating options, even ones for big groups. The food is a bit hit or miss, but it's exactly what you need when it's after midnight and you're too drunk to care. They have a big menu of comfort foods. It's a bit confusing to figure out where you go to order food and where you go to order drinks. Sometimes you have to go searching for the drinks menu too. The service overall is lacking and slow, sometimes they're even a bit rude. Otherwise it's a fun place to be with friends

Incredible milkshakes & flatbread, both are a must try. Portions are bigger than you'd expect from the price. The place is spacious, has a pleasant atmosphere that's welcoming & safe for all, friendly staff, Big balcony for outdoor dining, drinking & smoking. Long opening hours that are perfect for students studying late into the night. Home of the (now unfortunately late) legendary cat called Roger. He may have been a stray but the Caffeine Club was his home, long live his memory.

What a great place. If you're looking for something a bit different, but not bizarre, you just have to try this place. Judy off the city centre with lovely retro decor, comfy chairsn and super food too. Definitely worth a visit and a great, reasonably priced menu. Five stars!

The staff are always fantastic. Drinks are great. Only let down is the food. I ordered the big breakfast the other day. The sausages seemed to be the cheapest possible and had little bits of gristle and bone in them. It also came with a very cheap and gristley burger patty. The nachos were good though. It would be fantastic if the food was a bit better quality

Absolutely love it here! Staff are darlings, it's regularly cleaned, the food is decent and it stays open 24 hrs which is amazing for students studying or your stuck in town for a while, beautiful interior decor. Only strange thing I have to say is their toilets are physically on the stairs.

my fruit smoothie tasted okay, but my friend's milkshake didn't taste anything of strawberries. my other friend's blended coffee also didn't seem to have much coffee flavour in it. three drinks took 30 mins to arrive. we asked for a third spoon with our cookie dough dessert and they never got it for us!

I went today for the first time in 3 years. We stopped going as there were no baby changing facilities and it was a bit grubby. But was pleasantly surprised today. The whole place has been spruced up and was really clean and fresh. Love the new decor which is very quirky. Also the lady that served me and my family was amazing with my boy which always gains a few brownie points. Will be making an effort to visit more as the portions are huge too and I'm greedy.

Simply fantastic. Menu full of wonderful and crazy dishes, along with the variety of music and old-style dining, the Caffeine Club has been the go-to for meals with friends after a long day of studying. Food is well worth the money, but some can be so big that you'll need to share with your mate, so you could even get better value for it in the long run! It's usually open 24hrs in the latter half of the week too (might be less now because of short staff), which is a super win in my book, considering my sleep patterns change by the seasons. At least this café keeps consistent with the quality of food and friendliness of staff! ^^

My initial visit here was lovely, I ordered a coconut cappacino which was amazing and just as described with coconut on top I have been there several times since and had to return my drink every time, the queues make waiting to order and receive food a lengthy process but food great when u eventually get it. More staff needed, the staff they have are lovely but struggling to keep on top of the lunchtime rush. If your popping in before a lecture check the waiting time before u order or u maybe getting a take out like the table next to us.

Decided to pop in for breakfast and a couple of drinks, ordered 2 different types of tea, both were basically cold within the space of them being ordered and walking back to the table. Decided to order scrambled eggs on toast which was extremely disappointing as the eggs were just microwaved and had zero taste, toast was as good as toast can get... Absent amount of staff checking if everything was ok. Only good thing about the place was the milkshake. Sadly I doubt we will be returning

It’s more than 2 years that I left Plymouth but will never forget its excellent burgers and shakes. During my uni day me along with my friends would visit this place very often at any time of the day. I used to work for an Indian restaurant and my boss would drop me home and I decided to take him here on my way home as it is open 24 hours. He just fell in love with the taste that this place has got to offer and then he took me there on a very regular basis.

One of the most favoured places by students, serving food 24H. For the money the food is pretty good quality, their monster hot dogs are amazing and can be complimented by a range of fillings and toppings, the nachos are a firm favourite too. Waiting times can be a bit long at times, but expected for an establishment that is so busy. Their milkshakes can also be a bit heavy on cream, rather that actual drinkable liquid but that's the only bad part I have found. I have been here several times and plan to visit again soon, recommended.

I've been a few times. This place is a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde venue. If the students are around this place can be quite busy and rowdy and standards tend to slip because demand on staff and kitchen is usually too much. If you go during the summer, it is far more relaxed and the food is cooked and presented with more care. Prices are reasonable and the portions are always big. This is a place to go for real comfort food. The venue is open 24 hours which is a massive bonus (not many eateries in Plymouth are). Lots of seating, not particularly disable-friendly as there are stairs and tight doors. Parking is limited to the street or a pay and display lot a 3 minute walk away.

AMAZING customer service! I came here after a rough night and recieved a free bottle of wine and cheese from the night staff. The atmosphere is wonderful and the music is so good. The food is incredible and they deserve nothing less than a 5 star rating. They are open 24 hours and they have never failed to accomodate to a very high standard. Ignore all the bad reviews on here, it's a load of rubbish! We have just been for breakfast and it was great!! Service was brilliant, the lady who served us was very smiley and friendly, we ordered the veggie breakfast and asked for it vegan and it came exactly as it should (no butter on toast, no egg, etc!) they did miss off the hashbrowns but to be honest there was enough food on our plates as it was so the missing hash browns weren't missed too much!! Coffee was delicious, service time was good, and the decor is worth a visit just in itself! It's so quirky and unique! Would definitely return if ever in Plymouth again! :)

My wife an I were taken here by our Daughter while we were visiting her at Uni. Definitely don't come here if your in a hurry. It's not a fast food place. Definitely come here if your hungry, the food is "good eats" and large portions. It mainly burgers, hotdogs style foods. But with a good variety and tasty. We had one veggie with us who managed to find plenty of selection. One thing to try are the massive milkshakes. Again if your on a low cal diet, or your not partially hungry this might not be the place for you. The place has a nice atmosphere with polite staff and we will be going back.

The portions are huge! Butcher's Burger was impressively large and quite tasty, as were the other (admittedly burger-like things) we ordered. Don't expect chilli goodness from the jalapeños though! Quantity of food can't be faulted, and the meaty bits were tasty; chips were just standard and the coffee somewhat lacking in body. However, friendly staff and efficient service make it a decent eatery in this part of the city. Don't buy the large milkshakes as they are ridiculous!

Expensive considering this is a student based café. The atmosphere is chilled, but also a little cramped at times with there being one toilet for guys & girls. The food portions are medium to large (depending on what you order), but the quality of the food is basic and the milkshakes were a let down. I have lost count of how many times I have been to Caffiene Club now! Every time I would visit my partner in Plymouth whilst she was at uni we would go there for a lovely meal! The prices are very affordable, the portions are defiantly generous, and the taste is stunning. The menu is full of the most amazing food and drinks. The cocktail list is amazing and it is always a difficult choice on what to choose. All of the burgers I have had have been so tasty, with a large side of sweet potato fries. Just the main meal will be enough to fill you up! Even the sides come with generous portions, you will never leave hungry from here! I have tried a good few of their cocktails and I have to say they are absolutely incredible, incredible taste, not too bitter and horrid with too much alcohol, the perfect mix! I once ordered the two pint shake (cookie monster) and thought, yeah I can finish this... I did finish it but my god it filled me up so when I got my burger I couldn't finish it, I barely made a dent! The Caffiene Club is the jack of all trades, it has so many things that make it special, like their "challenging" big foods like monster burgers, dogs. It's like a Man Vs Food episode and I love it! You get that huge sense of accomplishment when you finish it! The atmosphere is amazing, good music, the decor up and downstairs is amazing. Amazing place to sit, socialize, enjoy some great food. Extremely helpful staff, we are always served by this lovely and ever so happy guy with very tall spikey hair, he is always the nicest, always recognises us and is very chatty, really helpful and makes you feel very welcome. Only down side (I will not consider this their problem so I will definitely not lower the rating) you can get some very very loud and rude students, making a tonne of noise. I highly recommend Caffiene Club! Very generous portions, extremely affordable, open 24 hours, amazing stuff and an incredible menu!!!

Visit here, when taking my daughter for an interview at Plymouth university. Open 24 hours so was expecting it to be a little untidy, when we got there at about 7.30 on a Saturday morning. Total credit to the staff the place was spotless, even though we were told that they were behind with the cleaning. Enjoyed a good breakfast, which set us up for a very busy day. If my daughter decides Plymouth university is the place for her, I will definitely be visiting again.

Have you come to drink in Plymouth, and now the festivities are over you crave a huge pizza, a pimped-out burger, or just something greasy with ketchup and chips? Then you've come to the right place. Caffeine club at the end of a night out in Plymouth is the standard for many of our late night drinkers. The food is greasy spoon, but above-average, (better than Wetherspoons, for instance) the food and drink menus are good for choices, reliable, and reasonably priced. It's also not the worst place to start your night if you want somewhere quiet with no scary regulars watching you from the shadows. Additionally the deco is nice and the furniture is comfy. Staff are generally friendly, but on the rare occasion they're ever a little sullen, it's probably because the place runs non-stop, 24hrs a day..! Additionally, for a place handling so many end-of-night drinkers you might think the clientele were a nuisance, but I have almost never had a problem, in many years of going. Caffeine club can still be worth a visit in the daytime too - the food will still taste good (it's not just drunk tastebuds!) and, weather permitting, a coffee or milkshake out on the decking is a great way to catch up with friends away from the busy town centre. * * * *

Best 24 hour café in the area. Very popular with students, especially during the early hours! Food includes chips, burgers, nachos, and a range of other meals and snacky bits (the mozzarella sticks are amazing!) Staff are super friendly and very tolerant of drunk students at 4am in the morning!

Very much a university student hub through the year caffeine club remains open 24/7, true to it's name though a good cup of coffee can be found whenever needed. Only trouble is it can feel enclosed and tight to move within during the current pandemic, they do well in maintaining cleanliness though.

Upstairs there's a smoker's balcony. It can get a bit cold downstairs and to the side especially during rain. Access to the first floor is with a narrow-ish staircase.
