Absolutely Amazing Service, the lady who served us was so Lovely and Friendly, definitely amazing lady she went above and beyond doing her job apologising for delay with our drinks owing to the fact one of the coffee ☕ machines was not working. We asked her about the coleslaw which the lovely lady said was made by them and would we like some to take home which she wouldn't take any money for and said we could have it because we had to wait for our coffee. So Grateful to her, we will most definitely return, The Sausage and Bacon 🥓 Baguettes and the Garnish with the Coleslaw was absolutely 💯 Delicious so Thank You so much Lisa and Keith

I suffer with PTSD so finding a place that I feel comfortable with is hard for me. When ever I go into town I always go in for a coffee and a sandwich. The service is excellent and the staff make you feel really at ease and NEVER rush you like some eating establishments. There as only been one mistake when I have been in there with my mum but that was quickly put right and it was an easy mistake to make. Keep up the great work. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff even when asking a silly question. Thankyou so much for making my life with PTSD a little better.

we enjoyed a lovely coffee here,our two children enjoyed a particularly and sausage roll with crisps,the staff were very friendly and helpful,just to sit and relax was lovely, I care for my husband who has schizophrenia, he too was calm n relaxed here,loved the old photos on the wall,took pictures of them,I ve had a long intrest in black white photography, these were like a time capsule, would recommend anyone to go there,food is high class

If this was my first visit the review would be 2*. it was a Sunday and food took that long I had to have it to takeaway as I was in a rush. 45 minutes for a sandwich and a jacket potato isn't ideal nevertheless the women working was very apologetic and gave me some free puddings. When I eventually ate my food at home it was very tasty. I've never had a bad lunch from there to the company's respect. I'm sure they were just having an off day.

I love this pasty shop, they do quite a range of foods like slices, sausage rolls, different sort of pastries, desserts, salads I think they even do sandwiches? You'll find something for everyone trust me. The staff are always friendly and happy and they can help if you're struggling with decision.

We ordered three meal deals from the original burger house last night, delivery was expected around 1930 but came earlier which was great. When we opened up our bags we realised we had all the food order but were missing our milkshakes. I contacted the restaurant to let them know and not only were they apologetic for the mistake but they displayed what I can only say as impeccable customer service. They offered to make the milkshakes up and have them delivered and asked if we would like a slice of cake for the trouble, usually I wouldn't but as it was my birthday I thought it would be nice. The original burger house prepared the milkshakes and had them delivered to us but they also put in two slices of chocolate fudge cake and a gingerbread person too, which is far more than we were expecting, they even wrote happy birthday on the box containing the cake which was lovely. The food was incredible and I can probably say it's the best burger I've had in Plymouth, nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail and fantastic customer service was second to none. Highly recommen and will be returning. Thank you for such a positive experience.

We were disappointed as Original Burger House (part of Original Pasty House) was rated highly on JustEat and Deliveroo and the menu looked really good. Unfortunately the food arrived room temperature. The West Country Cheeseburger did not have any House red onion relish, lettuce, pickles, ketchup and mustard as stated on the menu so was just a dry beef patty and slice of cheese. The sweet potato fries were really tasty and best part of the meal despite being room temperature. The chocolate milkshake and chocolate fudge brownie were also yummy. Therefore 3 stars and I will try again hoping for a better experience next time at least with some condiments in the burgers!

I've always had such a good experience with the Original Pasty House I tend to order on deliveroo, and every time the food is always very tasty, the right order, sometimes we even get extra cheese and bacon turnovers, this may be an accident but due to everything going on recently it's always put a smile on my face. The food there is extremely nice and I've popped into the actual store a couple of times and they give such a friendly and welcoming service. I would 100% reccomend.

Wait times can be a bit long, but I do get that it's often really busy at lunchtime. The pasties are delicious, and go every well with a hot drink! Sandwiches I've heard from friends are a bit pricey, but are certainly worth the buy. I've only been a few times, but who knows? This rating could go up as time goes by ^^

With COVID being a pain, I took to using Deliveroo and discovered some amazing foods from the comfort of my home. The Original Pasty House makes the most delicious and consistent pastys I have ever tasted. Beautiful from start to finish, with juicy chunks of steak. The large steak is a decent price and fills you up. I've had my fair share over the past few months and every pasty has been incredible. This is the only place I will ever eat them from now. Bleddy ansum!

Food tasted good but service was slow and poor. We waited 25mins for 2 baguettes to be made( 1 bacon ) meanwhile 4 other customers were brought theirs including hot drinks we had cans. When ours came out.....no cutlery. On saying she(the waitress) would fetch some another waitress asked her to take a tray of dirty crockery inside so she could wipe down the table she just cleared. Another 10 mins passed. My daughter went to ask where our cutlery was. Our original waitress came out with cutlery no apology for the delay. Not impressed.

I live in Tavistock and know the other Pasty House here. I don't into Plymouth that often but was in there for awhile on Tuesday morning. I decided to go somewhere familiar for breakfast. The food and drinks are always good and goes without saying. But what I was really impressed with was the staff. From first being seated until paying on leaving I was attended to or spoken to by five different members of staff. We’ve just got back from staying in Tavistock and discovered the OPH cafe/bakery there on Sunday morning in a desperate search for coffee. To be honest, we weren’t expecting much and as foodies-coffee lovers, we were prepared to be disappointed. However, the coffee was excellent- so good that we returned every morning. Good strong blend and very tasty. My mate loved her pancake breakfasts too. Most importantly, every single morning the service was fantastic. From the youngest girl to the more mature waitresses, we were welcomed, spoken to politely and serve with real manners and pleasant chat and that was the main reason we returned daily. So, thank you OPH Tavistock, you helped make a special holiday even more special.

The downside is the noise levels are very high when eating inside with the two biggest causes being the music being played at too high a volume (staff choice? but definitely could be controlled) and the coffee making machine (perhaps something not in their control). This forces the staff talking about food orders to shout, adding to noise levels. Not a relaxing atmosphere.

OK, I'm Cornish and I like a good pasty. This venue sells pasties and pastries (ones that have things other than beef, potato..) Super efficient service, too much packaging though which is a bit of a waste. I don't need a bag, a napkin and a paper bag with handles for one pasty to take away.
