Had afternoon tea at Tudor Rose Tearooms and really loved it! The scones were incredibly delicious and still a bit warm, just perfect. The design of the place was great. Seating in the garden was wonderful, especially in the sun. If I ever find myself in Plymouth again, I'll definitely be coming back

Perfect to visit as a small group or a couple. Greeted with a smile and shown to our table in the beautiful courtyard.
We had the Devonshire Cream Tea at £6.25. This featured two traditional homemade scones served warm with strawberry jam, Rodda’s clotted cream and a pot of Drake blend Plymouth tea.
The Tearooms and Garden is situated in one of many listed buildings on New Street, which is one of the oldest streets in Plymouth.

A very enjoyable experience! We had a delicious Sunday roast in the garden with blankets and cushions supplied on request (it was early April). Very pleasant staff who ensured we enjoyed our meal. Cream tea's and cakes are also served although we didn't partake at this time. Highly recommended!

We had a delicious Vegan cream tea here. You need to book because the place is popular. The staff are lovely and the venue is very pretty. It was a really nice experience, we will definitely go again soon.

A lovely tea room right in the heart of the Barbican, we always stop in here when we visit Plymouth. Amazing cream tea, a nice selection of finger sandwiches and proper tea in a teapot with quirky tea cosies.

Granted it was jubilee weekend but we really wanted a cream tea..... unfortunately my kids didn't and we found the kids menu very limited....end up ordering them a kids plated selection asking the sandwiches to have plain cheese. But this was ignored and they came with cream cheese and cucumber, egg and cress and ham and mustard which neither of the kids liked.
Our cream teas were nice, we got two scones and would have liked more jam and cream as only enough for one!
