G. G.Hands down the best butty bar in the North West...ordered a chicken (cos they had ran out of turkey) cranberry and brie butty and it was overflowing with toppings. If you are a greedy pig like me, or work up a big hunger at lunch, this is the place for you. Place was full of tradesmen, but anyone would be welcome, nice and friendly. They take card if over a fiver and cash. Would deffo go again

Friendly, polite staff and the sandwiches me and wife ordered were exceptional. Chicken Tikka and Honey Chilli Chicken.

C. S.My favourite butty place. Staff are always friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Food is always spot on and lots of choice. Was gutted when i moved away from Penwortham as nowhere else is quite as good. I always visit when back in the area.

M. F.Wow, WATCH THE STEP, but once you're inside it's a butty bar of magnificent traditional proportions. You could not get a better traditional bacon/egg/beans/sausage/black pud/mushroom big barm (or little barm) (both massive) anywhere. Fresshly fried, carefully squished sauce, and if you don't want the bread carbs you can put it all in a box instead.
No frills (except on the pinnies) just three hard working ladies pandering to your butty needs in a very wholesome and traditional way. Loved it and the cup of tea was just great. No wonder it's often packed.
Get there early for a BIG BREAKFAST BOX, not every day mind you.
