J. P.If you’re looking for great coffee and a sweet treat, don’t be afraid to tread on Holy Ground(s)! Easily missed when near Avenham Park, this coffee spot well worth the visit. The new chocolate donut is also worth shouting to high heaven about!
S.Actually, my experience started by visiting the park behind this amazing treasure. I felt a coffee while I was walking in the park would be brilliant. However, I chose to try this shop, and my experience was amazing. They served a nice flat white, and I chose to try the raspberry doughnut , which was delicious too.

I had to go check it out…staff here was attentive and kind, Coffee here was really nice (oat milk flat white) made with attention and care and nice beans too: but what really takes the trophy is … obviously the doughnuts.
They are just so exquisite and delicious!!

A. R.My friend and I came here for some doughnuts. They didn’t have any sugar so Hannah gave it to us with some chocolate sauce instead and it was on the house. She’s such an Angel and I love holy grounds. It’s without doubt the best spot in Preston for doughnuts.
J.Can't rate or recommend this place any higher. It's simply coffee and Doughnuts, but they are done so well. The Doughnuts are made fresh every day and taste great, the coffee and hot chocolate taste better than any chain. They even have things for dogs. It's simply a humble coffee and doughnuts kiosk and it's one of the best things in the city.

Such friendly two young ‘entrepreneur’ (I guess). They are soooooo friendly and smiley. They maybe the next Crispy & Cream - who knows! 😍😍😍

I did not know it existed. As I was going to the park I saw the place and I thought I’d give it a go. “Holy Grounds” it is called. I think the still have not finished decorating, but who cares?! I do hope they get more customers to complete their decoration. Do go and help those young people in their startup business. It is just across from the Park View Surgery and right by Avenham Park. So you can’t miss it. They still have not got a sign on in the front yet. But you should be able to find it. 🔍
Coffee
My friend and I had iced coffee. My friend is Greek so she knows when coffee is good. She liked hers. I am not an expert in coffee but I definitely going to grab another one again soon. It was so refreshing and it awakened my sleepy head. 🧋☕️
Doughnuts
I have not tried it but It looked super delicious and here is the thing “it is made by order” so always nice, warm and fresh. I will update the review when I try it myself. Or why don’t you go, try it and leave a review about it?🍩

D. R.Holy Grounds was recommended by a friend and I can see why! We had a Chai Latte and a flat white, both really good - especially the chai which can not only be hard to find but especially hard finding a good one! The doughnuts are a must have - good, old fashioned home made they are fantastic - sampled the lemon & ginger and the Oreo - delicious. All for under a tenner! Fabulous little place.

The coolest little hideaway right on the edge of the park. Super tasty and not too expensive.
