The pavilion was very spacious, warm and cozy. Also, the staffs were very friendly and kind. It’s definitely the right location to enjoy your lunch with a view.

Great little cafe situated in Avenham and Miller Park, sit inside or outside , amazing views around the park and of the river .

Hive of activity, dog walkers, cyclist.
Nice for a latte, did not try the food.
Staff very friendly.

Stopped by for a hot choc on a sunny but cold Sunday afternoon around 3. Busy! Not surprising given the weather but man, this place is popular. Took a while to get through the queue but the hot chocolate was unexpectedly outstanding. Lovely building, great view of the park, would go again.

Very nice place in a wonderful park. Staff were very friendly, facilities very nice and clean and reasonable prices

Again a great little cafe along the Guild Wheel cycle route where out of cyclists stop for a brew and a chat. Would definitely recommend if you're out on your bike or just on a walk through the park with your dog.

Pleasant pavillion with plenty of indoor seating. 10 minute queue for a coffee on a Saturday but the prices are reasonable. Note: the regular sized coffee cups are tiny compared to chains like Starbucks/Costa etc so order a large.

Lovely staff, the manageress couldn't do enough for us and was very helpful. She explained that they are working on improving the menu but the food available is good and they have gluten free bread availble. The cakes are very good and there are several GF options. I look forward to future visits.

Excellent service and extremely clean... well worth a visit. Food is amazing 👏

We had a family bike ride and called in myself and daughter had leek and potato soup and her daughter a cheese panini. All quite good. But her son had a jacket potato and it was still part frozen at the core when he started to eat it. They were quite good in that they refunded the price of the potato and replaced it with another. We also had tea for two a coffee and a soft drink. This cost approximately £21 which is I think a little on the high side. The potato being frozen was a disappointment maybe we should have made more of it. But I guess that would have spoiled what has been a pleasant outing

A Great Cafe with excellent services and offers alot during the pandemic. It also has some quality that isnt fully mass produced and has a local feeling to it.

Cafe in Avenham Park Preston, I often walk here for a coffee and cake, both of which are good value and quality. The views from the window are lovely all year, but I especially enjoy the cold winter months. I also visit the Pavilion when cycling through the park, or while completing the Guild Wheel. The staff are always cheerful and provide great service, highly recommended.

Good covid safety. Dog friendly. And lovely views of the park. Limited menu, but that didn't bother us, just wanted a cuppa and a sandwich, which were good.

Helpful staff not a lot of choice of food and we couldn't find a menu, then a worker put some on the tables, a bit late as it was 11.30. Nice and clean as were the toilets.
S. B.
Very nice unexpected stop for a cup of coffee on our walk through the park today. Card payments only but not an issue. Good to see it open. Limited access to a toilet would be welcomed.

Recently management has changed and there are a lot of good improvements: lots more options, 3 kinds of non dairy milk and vegan food. Very nice place just a bit crowdy but expected. Recommended

A VERY welcome hot drink after a walk along the riverbank in the cold.
However, it took over 10 minutes after it was ordered to receive the drink.
L. B.
Friendly staff, OK coffee, just a little slow service

Only ever had coffee and snacks here - tea cakes, tray bakes etc. Always good and friendly staff. Although you can sit outside with dogs, I do wish dogs were allowed inside.
G. K.
One of the few nice places you can go during this lockdown. It's nice to have a walk then grab an ice cream or a coffee here.
M. R.

I like this place. I'm always stopping there when I'm cycling around Preston. Nice coffee and cakes. Clean facilities. Sluggish staff

Good stop off for a coffee on the Guild Wheel but a bit expensive for a very small piece of cake (£2.40) there are better options.
B. H.
Never eaten here, but attended plenty of events with the business I work for. A nice venue in a great spot, can't be beaten really.
B. T.
Could have been excellent, staff a bit too inexperienced.
