Reviews of Rosemary on the Park

Very tasty breakfast with nice view. Friendly staff and animal friendly... slightly overpriced but ok. Free parking in the park

Well, what an amazing little discovery. My wife frequents here, during park walks, and raves about this little place with its baked delights. Deservedly so!
On my first visit I had the Prawn Marie Rose open sandwich. It came beautifully presented on a small oblong plate, and I'll hold my hands up and admit my first thought was "Oh, that's a bit small". How wrong I was.
An ample slice of white provides a bed for a really good handful of large, juicy, fresh prawns, all of which could easily have been hand picked. The Marie Rose sauce has to be homemade, its bloody delicious and the lettuce is chunky, fresh and crisp. This is all topped off with a handful of crisps and a pot of homemade coleslaw. If I wasn't already full, I'd have ordered a second serving. But there was room for a piece of white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake, and oh my goodness, wow!
My second visit was the very next day, for a club sandwich, and if I was to tell you how good that was, we'd be here all day.
The kitchen at Rosemary on the Park clearly take a lot of pride in their work, and I highly recommend you go and put that to the test.
Update: Visited Jubilee weekend too. Still amazing and still great value in my opinion. Stacking up to be our favourite "lunch in the sun" location.

Lovely place. Good food, lovely food and dog friendly including bowls outside. Absolutely love being nearby and being able to stop here when walking our furry idiot on Moor Park.

If you need to take a break from walking in the park, this is your best option. The staff are friendly and if you are a dog person, this establishment welcomes dogs.
The prices are fair. The sandwiches were tasty. The tea was not bad at all. In all, good value for money.

Great café serving freshly made food, coffee, tea, and homemade cakes

Bike ride pit stop, Ice creams were fantastic whilst sat outside and after seeing their breakfast menu, will definitely be back to taste.

Lovely breakfast with quality ingredients. It is a shame I have only just now found this place. Don’t get other reviews that mention price being high, I thought it was excellent value and this place will definitely be my new regular.
S. C.
Lovely cafe. Quirky decor. Great selection of cakes and tea served properly, in a teapot. Will definitely visit again.

Great place to eat, all freshly made. Really great service will be definitely going again soon.

Lovely and clean, staff are so friendly. I only had a toasted yea cake and tea but it was worth it. I got over 3 cups of tea from the pot for one! We were offered a cold water when we first went in as it was a hot day.....no cost. Dog friendly too. Nice stop off while on the park or even just to visit.

Brilliant people and excellent table service.
Very good menu for a small cafe, with quite a lot of the menu made by the staff, and very tasty it is too. I would personally recommend the scones.
If you are in the area and fancy a cuppa give it a go, you get a decent pot of tea.
Definitely recommend it.

Delicious ice cream I went with my grandad and my cousin and I thought the ice cream would not be all that busy the ice cream was tasty and you get loads off sprinkels!!!

Fantastic day out, wonderful views and great coffee what else can you say.
Nice atmosphere and plenty of space for the kids outside while you enjoy your drinks. A wide variety on the menu and the prices are reasonable. Well worth the trip!!!

Nice little cafe to stop and purchase refreshments, was disappointed they had no coconut ice cream left 😂 although my mango sorbet was delicious. Would definitely stop for a meal next time looking at the dishes coming out of the kitchen.
K. R.
Lovely food and a decent cup of coffee.
Shame about the big group hogging all the tables but not buying much. Luckily it was a nice day so customers could sit outside.

I thought this was a lovely little cafe, very well presented, the gentleman and lady were very pleasant. On this visit I only had a latte and my friend had a cappuccino which was very nice but next time we're going to have a bite to eat, everything was in place for the covid rules...hand sanitizer, screening etc... I would recommend to anyone xx

A real asset to Moor Park. Fabulous food, drinks and icecreams served by very friendly staff. Always extremely popular which speaks volumes. Hot chocolate is amazing and, in my opinion, the best in the area. Thankyou Rosemary on the Park.

So decided to stop for a brew during our walk today. Have to say I was blown away by this gem of a place. I had one of the specials, bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon and avocardo. It was amazing and the service was great. I wish I'd taken a photo but was too eager to eat it.
R. I.
Lovely café and staff, highly recommended
E. M.
We stopped by for an ice cream and it was great.

Very nice place to walk the dog, in middle is the cafe that's pet friendly you can either sit in or take out, staff are really friendly and helpful, children play area and a skate park
J. B.
Very disappointed order a sandwich on a bun and that’s what I got no side salad nothing but a bun and little filling. Very over priced. I was shocked for the price they charged. Friendly, and courteous people I must say but I was paying for food and to be honest it was absolutely nothing special.

Such a handy take out experience in picturesque Moor Park. It doesn't matter whether you have hot drinks, something sweet to treat yourself when you get home, soup, or one of their excellent take out meals; the quality and customer service is wonderful.
A. B.
Been here before and loved it so we returned today for ice creams and tea unfortunately we were not met with same friendliness - maybe as Kelly wasn't here today. Got stony responses from the man serving and when we ordered pot of tea for 2 only had one tea bag in so I asked for another as the tea wasn't very strong (it's Yorkshire tea so should be served reasonably strong) was told there should be two but he would bring me another- wanted another few minutes whilst he continues to serve other people and clean up other tables before I went back and asked again for the lady to thrust one at Me. Saw same lady bring outside ice cream cones with no napkin etc when for hygiene as the cone is eaten by the customer it shouldn't be handled when walking outside. Anyway think I'll only go in next time if I see Kelly
Edited to add he did then come and apologise after but it's not our usual service
V. R.

Great cafe in the park for a relaxing stop
K. M.
my friend and I came in the morning today, we were very welcomed with a smile, lovely customer severs. The food was so good, we had two veggie breakfasts: Beans, egg (scrambled or poached) , one big mushroom head, toast (brown or white) what we like about the food is they sever the right amount of potions. we were happily full but not stuffed to the point I would be wanting to undo a button lol.
we also had tea, and happy to report that the cafe has soya milk. so any one with IBS or alleges to milk will not miss out. I will definitely be going back.
please note the cafe has its own toilet inside, for costumers only. so you dont have to be discourage, as i was not sure as they have loos outside you have to pay £1 for to use, but there for the park.

(Translated) As an Italian .... simply wonderful. A little corner of joy and warmth. I recommend eggs, sausage. Forget the Italian coffee shop, but try their huge, long cappuccinos.

Da italiano....semplicemente meraviglioso. Un piccolo angolo di gioia e calore. Raccomando uova, salsiccia . Scordatevi la caffetteria italiana, ma provate i loro enormi e lunghi cappuccini.
