Great coffee shop to visit for breakfast! The pancakes are delicious, as is the avocado on toast. I'd also recommend adding one of their freshly made smoothies to your breakfast. Lovely modern decor as well.

Lovely, cozy, relaxed, trandy and welcoming place... Strong and tasty Flat white and yummy flabjack! Loved how Barista Asta suggested on my drink based on my taste. She was very patient with me.. made the whole experience amazing! Definitely going in again.

Amazing service from staff as soon as you walk through the door, quiet, relaxing atmosphere and they got our order in a even though the kitchen was closing soon. Delicious pancakes with no shortage of fruit and a beautiful presentation on food and drinks, brilliant experience all around.

Went in to try a new place for breakfast and found friendly staff, clean space and relaxing atmosphere. Family friendly too although there isn't a whole lot of space for pushchairs but enough for 2 at downstairstable. Food and coffee was excellent. Had the townie breakfast which had nice mix of thick bacon, sausages, vibe tomatoes, mixed beans mushrooms, sourdough toast all very tasty.

Visited for the first time today. Staff were welcoming and patient towards new customers. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and fairly priced. There is a small seating area downstairs and a slightly larger space upstairs. A cozy casual cafe that can accommodate groups, couples and the single.

One of the best cafes in Preston by far! The staff are all so friendly and take so much care with the presentation of the food and keep the cafe so tidy... I could see myself in the side of the coffee machine it was so clean and shiny. The food is amazing and I highly recommend the cakes with a coffee and one of their many books upstairs 😊

Went this morning for the first time. Atmosphere is lovely, really good vibe as soon as you walk in. Service was great, both members of staff were super polite. Food was lovely with generous portions for the price.

Outstanding. This is basically an Aussie coffee shop, I was delighted to find it and had been looking for one in Lancashire for a while. Someone involved here has been down under. Has things you would expect in Perth or Melbourne like: Proper flat whites, smashed Avo, eggs benny e.t.c. Was amazing to find this in Preston. They really care about the coffee. If you're used to Australian breakfast culture & looking for that good hit, this is the place.

Townhouse is a great place to have a coffee with a friend, lunch with a colleague or even to celebrate your birthday. It's such a cosy and welcoming place. Staff is always friendly, patient and kind to customers and even their dogs. ;) The dog area is on the ground floor only, but it's still ok, as your doggy will be offered a free biscuit and a bowl of water, which is so nice. That's why you want to be coming there again and again, as they make each customer feel valued. Food, cakes and drinks are great and reflective of some modern trends in food. Vegan and GF options available. Update: A few points for improvement: (1) their menu hasn't changed in a long while and since vegan + gf options aren't many - you kind of have to rotate and have the same dish over and over again, which isn't exciting. (2) when sitting upstairs there is a draft and it gets really cold.

Townhouse is the best place in Preston to get coffee. The flat white has sustained me through my degree and the food is incredibly good. They have a great selection of smoothies and a significant vegan and vegetarian menu including cakes and other baked treats. I have visited Townhouse hundreds of times and it's always been amazing.

Well this valentine day, we tried the takeaway breakfast and I have to say it was excellent! Reasonable prices, delivered hot and on time, the food was delicious. With a household of vegan and vegetarian daughters, it’s great for me to be able to indulge in a cooked full breakfast, while they all eat vegan delights. Well done Townhouse!

I only had a spare 40 minutes for dinner on a training day I was on in Preston. I went in to just get some chips and a cold coffee and the chips... it’s just chips. They shouldn’t be that good. They had seasoning and tasted like garlic and pepper and we’re literally the best chips I’d ever eaten. I’d go back to Preston just to go to this coffee bar. Lovely staff, lovely coffee, lovely food :)

Every time I go in, the staff are super friendly and really lovely. I have gluten and lactose intolerance, and they’ve always tried to cater to that, whether it’s a food order or a coffee/tea order. I love going here when I just need some time to myself or need somewhere peaceful to collect my thoughts (sounds over-dramatic, but I over-think a lot and it’s just a very nice place to collect my thoughts while waiting for my order)

I've started coming here weekly because the staff are so lovely and the coffee is great. I've eaten a couple times too (vegetarian options are awesome) and am very impressed. It's not "cheap" , you get what you pay for: pay that extra couple quid and actually enjoy high quality food. If you want something a bit different, a great place to chill, and coffee that actually tastes good, come here!

Place welcome, vegan breakfast look nice, Just The sausages were not toasted, but just warm up, (and they were not warm enough) is Big shame because sausage than not taste than Very good. Beans need more seasoning. But otherwise was okay.

My favorite coffee shop in England! I come here most days of the week to study, and I'm always thrilled by the staff, service, and food/drinks. They also have a fantastic coffee card that let's you get a free drink every 6th drink, which is way better than the usual coffee cards at other coffee shops. My only complaint is that they're not open every day! :)

Townhouse is one of the best coffee houses in Preston. I'm a fan! Bee and Lou are a great team and I totally enjoyed the cupping session and coffee workshop that they did. They are super knowledgeable and they are passionate about the exacting standards that a good espresso deserves. Highly recommended!!

The coffee is as good as you'll get anywhere and we've just enjoyed the finest cooked breakfast we've eaten in years. Every ingredient was premium quality and delicious. There are cheaper breakfasts available in Preston, but you really do get what you pay for and this was worth every penny.

We adore this little coffee shop. The food is all lovely and organic and fresh, the coffee is stunningly good and the various teas a beautiful. Oh and the staff are brilliant and friendly! They ran a Coffee Workshop last week which I went on. It was really well done with a great mix of learning and fun. I went away with a great little booklet of info and a bag of beautiful coffee. I learned loads and got to make some fab coffee art. The guys are very skilled at what they do and while I was nowhere near as good after just a few hours training it was great to see how I could learn and to use the mega espresso machine! Keep doing the good stuff guys and if anyone gets a chance to join one of the Coffee Workshops is thorougly recommend it!

I came here for breakfast today with a friend around 9.15am and oh my word the best place iv been to in such a long time!! The food was to die for and the coffee made by the lovely blonde girl in the amazing whitney shirt who's customer service was on point by the way, she made us laugh, she made us feel amazingly comfortable and nothing was too much for her even though she was really busy running up and down them stairs, she definitely needs recognition as she made our visit that little bit more amazing, I will 100% be returning and recommending this place to anyone, the bennies with bacon is a must try 😋 thankyou for a lovely welcoming visit !!
