M. C.Beautiful little cafe in Woodley, large selection of coffee, sandwiches and cake all very nice and well presented. Has a homely feel with loads of seating out front in the good weather and plenty in the back of the store. Highly recommend
S.Great menu, lots of non dairy drinks. I had the oat milk Tumeric latte. Very friendly and helpful servers. Scrumptious cakes and a very warm ambulance. Plenty of seating both inside and out.

S. A.I came to coffee#1 while waiting for an opticians appointment about a month ago. I didn't think much of it but I was really impressed by the quality of the coffee. I had an oat milk latte, it was so smooth and creamy. Shall return when I'm in the area.

J. J.Coffee#1 is a brilliant chain, you can keep your Starbucks and Costa because coffee#1 has the feeling of an independent family coffee shop. The staff are always so friendly and clearly love where they work and the products are some of the best I've ever had. The white hot chocolate is delicious and the hot Apple is really good too. Not tried any of their food but it always looks fantastic, I'll have to go back soon!
M. B.Best coffee for miles around. The interior has a comfy welcoming feel and the staff are warm and friendly. Seasonal blends are offered, but as the house blend is so good, I rarely change. For me there is little point going any where else as it simply won't be as good.
T.I have visited Coffee #1 in Woodley a number of times and the girls who work there are consistently helpful and friendly and make me want to return each visit. A credit to the company. Coffee is good and always served at the correct temperature around 65 degrees. Keep up the good work.

E. T.We absolutely love the drinks here! Everything from coffees to smoothies are fantastic, I'd pick them over Costa any day of the week. They even have two options of filter coffee, which my husband actually prefers to espresso. I'm lactose intolerant and there are lots of options for me, too.
Unfortunately the food isn't quite as good. There are many options in terms of gluten free/dairy free/vegan. They're just not great! Maybe it's personal preference, I just don't find they're particularly appealing. I've not found a cake I enjoy, even the millionaires shortbread tastes funny. I know some people who love the dark chocolate triangle but it's just too bitter for me!
The reason for my low score is really down to the slow service. We've had countless poor experiences when it comes to friendliness, reliability, speed... I went with work colleagues once and they got every single order wrong and took over half an hour to bring everything. When we said they'd put the wrong sides on the wrong plates they just told us to scrape it over! They were not willing to accept any responsibility and did they whole job with a scowl on their face. I do wonder what sort of place it is to work, the staff never seen particularly happy...
All that said, we still happily go there for drinks! And sometimes brave food if we 'have' to. If you visit a lot I'd recommend getting a loyalty card, they're quick to pay back.
There's lots of comfy seating with eclectic decoration. In the summer there's air con at the back and big open window-doors at the front. There's also easy to use wi-fi and lots of books to read in a library at the back. There's also free water out to pour for yourself and child worksheets.

S. 2.Lovely vibe and nice food and drink however, I could hear the constant clanking of dishes which was really loud. Also the staff discussing quite loudly their weekend plans as well as singing extremely off key 😂 Made me laugh however other people might find it to be annoying.
