A. P.I'd come here every single day if I could. Sweet little café with a 100% gluten free menu, with a few vegan options to boot. Friends staff, reasonable prices delicious food and coffee, can't fault it!

N. J.Service is really good, but the orange-almond cake was not up to expectations. It was too bitter and only had almond and a small slice of orange on the top; the sponge cake may have been soaked in some orange syrup. Norhing wow. The interior is rather interesting. Reasonably priced for the central location.

M. S.Friendly staff and fantastic service - been there a fair amount of times now. All foods and drinks are gluten free. They have decent vegan offerings as well. The cinnamon sprinkled vegan, gluten free donuts are perfect (if you can get your hands on them - hugely popular).
Seating on 2 floors and toilet facilities. Even in the Covid situation the staff have done a great job in staying and keeping everyone as safe as possible. Keep up the good work guys!

R. C.Staff are very nice here, and the place is completely adorable and sweet. It's almost idyllic, but not so far as to say utopian.
There is a reasonable selection of foods available but we only went for sandwiches, as the larger items seemed too daunting to ask for. The sandwiches were fairly good - I'm not a fan of granary bread, but as the food was served hot it made less of a difference. The hot chocolate was pretty average though, I've had better from Costa or even at home using mix from Whittards. I would come here again and try something different, based on the costs.
P. R.Favourite coffee shop in Reading , they serve amazing vegan gluten free desserts . During the current crisis they've come up with an amazing DIY donut kit (which is also gluten free and vegan !) easy instructions and foolproof method . Loved it so much !
M. K.Lovely ambience inside with small tables and sofas. I generally like their roast for coffee and it is a plus that they serve variety of gluten free food. Smiling staff makes you comfortable and welcomes you either you are in for a chat with friends or working on your laptop.
R. H.This place has some great vegan options including CAKE (cupcakes, rocky road, doughnuts etc) and vegan cheese pizza! Great to actually see a café in Reading with these options at a decent price! Paid £3 for a huge vegan chocolate cupcake (other places will charge the same price for something half the size). The atmosphere is also so cozy and lovely, loads of comfy sofa seats alongside areas you can place a laptop. Will definitely come again!

L. M.Best coffee shop in Reading! Amazingly caters for dietary requirements (gluten free, dairy free and vegan). Staff make the dining experience so pleasant, they're always smiling, helpful and polite. Overall atmosphere is great, very room with the downstairs seating area. Cosy, living room feel. Ideal for catching up with a friend or working (they have free WiFi.) Always recommend it to friends and they love it too. If you haven't been you need to go!
S. N.Lovely staff, a bit off the main streets so usually quiet enough to get a seat but does get very busy at lunch times! Good coffee and if anything a bit too large! Food is good too, even if you are not gluten intolerant.

O. C.The quiche was stunningly delicious. This is actually the first place in Reading where I did get olive oil for my salad without explicitly asking for it. The wooden cutlery were also very cute and environment friendly. This attention to detail in service is quite rare. I would strongly recommend production of larger quiches which would enable longer shelf life without crust dryness and more chunky bites.
F. C.What an amazing place! We had booked a table for 4 for afternoon tea, and I can't say anything went wrong.
The booking process was nice and easy online and we got a confirmation very quickly.
Once there, the table was ready, they took our payment and we sat to wait for our nibbles, which I've got to say were outstanding! The mini doughnuts and rocky road, and scone and the quiches! I can't just pick only one (but certainly, try the mini quiches!). Oh! And free tea refills!
I'll be certainly visiting again.
D. R.If you are Coeliac, this place is great. (If not, it's still pretty great.) All food is gluten-free, so no risk of cross-contamination. Cute decor and conveniently located in the centre of Reading. Had a toastie, and the GF bread was excellent. Had a slice of what I think was vegan rocky road, and it was not at all obviously vegan. All very nice. Atmosphere was good with friendly staff and clientele. Would definitely go back.
J. B.Have visited several times and always have a positive experience. Also out of all the coffee shops I've been to in Reading, this is the only one I've found that has lactose-free milk as an option!! Bless. All the baked goods are delicious (memories of vegan doughnuts keep me awake at night!)
a. p.Very tasty and fresh food and comfy atmosphere with nice staff too. I recommend the orange and almond cake especially. WiFi works very well too. Staff will let you sit there in peace for hours on end without nudging you to spend money.
If the Café looks full, check out the basement room, there might be more free tables!

D. (.The cutest lil café in the area! All good is gluten free and generally tasty to eat. Super friendly and considerate staff, and nice decor to boot. Lounge about upstairs or enjoy the quiet atmosphere in the basement! Me and my partner can't get enough of nibsy's.
N. A. L. W.Incredible little cafe, it's so lovely to have found somewhere exclusively gluten free which serves such fantastic food. As a Coeliac it really takes the worry out of grabbing a lunch away from home, and the cakes are so good my gluten guzzling fiance loves them too. I really can't recommend Nisby's highly enough!
E. W.This is a beautiful, cosy cafe. I love that we have something like this in Reading. My chai latte was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, my gluten-free pasta was so soft, it constantly fell off the fork. I asked to have it warmed up, but it was really only luke-warm, and there was not enough cheese. I would definitely come here again for coffee and cake, as it is a very peaceful place - and has good wifi!

J. G.I tried to find somewhere I prefer, but failed. Nibsy's cakes are just amazing. The coffee is also good (providing you get an extra shot or 2). I always pop in at the weekend for cake and coffee and feel so at home there. It's relaxed and comfortable and friendly, just as a cafe should be. Oh and their Bakewell tart, frangipane and pastry in general is to die for!!

C. K.Food and drinks lovely. Seating can be uncomfortable depending on where you sit. Very noisy upstairs with staff banging and clattering crockery . Stairs down are steep and narrow and seating area can get crowded on busy days.

Decided to to take a couple of freshly baked scones home as they were the best I'd seen for years 😋........
At home later I was absolutely blown away to discover little pots of jam and cream in the bag with the scones. Totally unexpected and so so scrummy. A huge thank you to all Nibsys for going above and beyond x your the best 😘
