l. e.I turned up here flustered after a cancelled train changeover, with a suitcase and backpack, completely unfamiliar with Reading and after trying 4 other cafes that were all packed out. The staff we're so lovely and kindly kept an eye on my bags while I dashed upstairs to use the loos! When I came back down the hot cup of tea and delicious feta, pepper and spinach frittata I ordered were waiting for me. A comfy, warm and welcoming cafe, I highly recommend :)

N. B.I drink in a lot of coffee shops and I have to say there was something missing here for me. The decor was beautiful, airy and spacey.. The staff were perfectly polite and there was a lovely selection of cakes to chose from. Coffee was OK, a little strong for my liking, but it's different in every coffee shop.
I can't put my finger on it, hence the 4 stars. I probably won't return
H. P.Great location, food and service from enthusiastic team. Could do with a sound reducing barrier between the service area and tables. Extremely noisy. Had to play my videos at full volume while having tea!
S. g.very quiet and cosy, I love the big windows because you can enjoy your food or drink while enjoying the view. I tried the turmeric latte it was very spicy I would love it if the turmeric was less. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend it for an afternoon tea or for just a coffee.

L. M.Lovely searing area and cafe aesthetic, lots of windows for people watching/ natural daylight. One member of staff was extremely friendly, helpful but another was more brash and not as friendly. Smoothie and cake was good (Bakewell slice, raspberry and peach smoothie.)
Covid: on eat out to help out. Tables given a sign of not able to be cleaned immediately to prevent people sitting down at a table before it's ready.
