Definetly a great break place in between play area visit. Nice food, reasonable price. Kids lunch box is fantastic.

Always stop for a coffee, quick service even when busy. Could do with a wider food range but staff always friendly.

The new cafe is in a lovely spot and the views over the lake are excellent. It has a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. The tea and coffee were fine but the toasted panini was plain & dull.

A gem of a country café - delicious & affordable snacks and main meals. The cakes are fab, the staff are always really friendly and there is plenty of space to sit inside or out. Great spot to visit when going for a walk around the lakes. We always enjoy our visits there! 😌☕️

Lovely site, great service, staff very friendly and always have a smile on their face which makes such a difference. The place is lovely & clean, the food looks great & tastes great. I would highly recommend - my family & I will be back. :)

Lovely little spot and friendly service. I had high hopes for the coffee, but unfortunately it was pretty poor, so don't expect artisan coffee here!

Omg I took my family of 4 to have lunch. It was fantastic I felt very comfortable and safe with the covid restrictions. Well the food was second to none. It was delicious I had coronation turkey jacket potato served with generous salad and coleslaw, wife had sausage and bacon brioche buttered bun and my son had half jacket potato with cheese and tuna mayonnaise. Such a lovely place and surroundings. Definitely go back.

The taste of the coffee was great, but too expensive for a tiny one...

Amazing location, slow and awkward service at the cafe, wind kept blowing disposable rubbish off the deck, not easy to get pram upstairs, disabled lift is really well hidden.

I've been a couple of times and always a good friendly cafe. I had a decent bacon sandwich on top notch seeded brown crusty bread. Some Christmas cake we took away was excellent too. Great outdoor area and pleasant inside with a lovely wood burner for cold days. Bonus points for fully compostable takeaway cup including the lid.

Great little spot for a coffee or snack or lunch while having a walk. Can get very busy at times but staff lovely. Big covered outside areas.

Excellent and diverse menu. They cater nicely for children and those with smaller appetites. The people are lovely and very friendly. you just have to speak really loudly when the coffee machine is on and it obviously makes lots of noise. The members of staff work hard to keep the place clean.
People are allowed to bring their dogs.
I have also noticed that the prices have gone down, meaning that overspending on simple items is no longer a huge issue. I don't have any complaints about this place.

Visited the Dragon Fly Cafe with 4 friends/colleagues today to celebrate our retirement from the NHS- 35 years in the operating theatres at the Royal Berks🎈🌟🥂
It was perfect . We ate sausage & bacon in brioche buns which were delicious with a hot drink then had retirement cake in the form of a clog! 🎂☕️🥓🍔
In Tier 2 it was fitting to celebrate in this style. We had a baby 👶🏻 & a small dog🐶 in our group. Presents and cards were exchanged at a table with no other people within 4 metres💃
Thank you Dragon Fly Cafe. We weren’t able to have leaving ‘do’ at work. 🤗

Very good cafe with a lovely new wood extension to the rear. Plenty of seating inside and out. Try the bacon and egg bap and the Tiffin. Can get very busy - today there was a sign saying food orders would take 20 minutes and a long queue to place your order. However, the service is friendly and efficient.

Really nice lunch and great servoce. Took a little while for food to arrive and it was a quiet day so not sure what it would be like on a busy day. Cooked breakfast was delicious, well filled panini and kids enjoyed their sausage rolls. Good mocha too and all reasonably priced. Thanks

Lovely cafe with great outdoor as well as indoor seating, and amazing food (loved the cakes!!) - it doesn't hurt that the surroundings are beautiful as well

Cafe was very busy, (sunny bank hol after xmas), when we visited about 11am and although a bit of a queue it wasn't an unbearably long wait and there were enough tables to cater for us. The location is great, and toilet was clean. The latte wasnt much to write home about, (tasted like a milky instant), but my bacon and egg bap had plenty of bacon and a runny egg and was served hot in just a few minutes despite the place being busy. Food was a little pricey overall.

The positives: lovely setting on a sunny day and friendly staff.
The neutral: Breakfast was average. Edible but nothing special.
The bad: WHY oh WHY serve plastic UHT milk with your coffee? This isn't a service station? (Although most of them have fresh milk). Would make such a difference to just have some real milk and put that in jugs....
Ultimately if they sorted the coffee / milk situation out if give it 4 stars!

They serve a good range of food and there's plenty of places to sit. It can get quite busy but not to the point of it causing problems.
