Not the most glamorous stop and a bit tucked away round the rear of a yard but the food was fantastic and felt secure enough and would use again anytime i am in that area.

Stopped for a truckwash and a cheeky bacon sandwich while I waited. Three rashers of bacon, two eggs and two thick pieces of toast and a mug of tea later and we're ready to go. Wagon cleaned, driver fed, everyone's happy! Look at my other reviews and 👍

Had my first breakfast here and was greeted by deb who was absolutely amazing vey friendly and helpful and cooked one of the best breakfast I've had in a while would definitely recommend this placefor food and parking as you are made very welcome the prices are quite fair also if you are feeling fit threshold a small gym or you can play pool

It's ok to say it's the only SNAP truck stop in Southampton. Could do with a clear out of some junk and make room for more trucks. Desperately in need of park lighting and a fence along side the railway, gets a bit noisy if you're park down that side. Good food and friendly.

After dreadful week on the roads feeling down right miserable, finally reaching my destination Southampton. That’s when at 7.45 am stopping at Cartland truck stop for a breakfast, I certainly like my food and got a great appetite therefore the potion size of the breakfast was amazing , tasting heavenly , clean and highly recommended. Finally I’ve driving all over Europe and never experienced a welcome so friendly from adorable lady called Debbie about in her earlier forties , very pretty with a fantastic sense of humour. She credit to her employer and cheered up a miserable sod like me.

Once again a cracking breakfast from the lovely Debbie. Always cheery and smiling. Makes the experience a joy. The lads on the truck wash did a great job on the truck too. Very happy all round.

Finding this place requires fortitude. When you get to SIG on your right you turn left into a yard then right and left again down the side of a building. There's a fence in front of you but don't worry, drive up to it and turn right down the lane and you'll come to it. Now some posts and replies say it's £25 to park here but I was charged £30 on a Sunday night with the receipt stating weekend parking. There is no food voucher available which when I'm paying cash is a big no no, it should always be an option. Called into the cafe in the morning where the staff are nice but the prices don't make up for the parking. Then again I am northern. Overall, not a bad truckstop but small and expensive.

I just took a weekend break here. I had no problems. It has a clean bathroom and a good shower. It has a restaurant and a billiard room and some sports equipment. I called for the reservation and the person was very kind. I recommend, I will come again.

Tucked away and a hidden gem. Young lad on parking who runs the yard with ease, evening staff extremely friendly and morning breakfast cooked by Debbie, if she doesnt brighten your morning up, nobody can. Clean showers and facilities and a good quiet nights sleep. Highly recommend.

Can thoroughly recommend this Truckstop. A small location so best to book ahead but a friendly welcome is assured especially from Debbie and Fee in the cafe. Debbie is a real character and certain to make you laugh, welcome if you have had a bad day. Can be awkward to find. First Avenue right at the end drive round the back of gas holder and you are there.

Stopped in the café for brekkie while waiting for the wash to open, which could be hit or miss if they clean all the lorry or just patches but to be fair seems they have done a great job today.👌 Debbie is helpful, polite and chatty in the café. Overall a good place to stop 👍

Great bunch of people down here. Parking secure all night, food really good and make a good cuppa too. Showers and toilets clean and tidy. Not much room but they get in what they can. And they have a good truck wash service too. We'll worth a visit when down that way.

Now this truck stop pisses me RIGHT off!!!! Its so close to my depot I’m not allowed to stay here!!! The Chief is a PROPER Chief, quality food, and always listening to your order if you change things! The owner, Nice guy, If I’m honest though, its hard to have a convo with him if the sun is shining as he works so hard the sweat of his head shines like a goodun, but leads by example! Great stop, can pre book, toilets and showers and always clean, little gym, free facilities and 24/7 toilets and showers! Get involved! 👍🏻

Well if you follow my reviews, you will know I like truck stops instead of motorway services and I can definitely recommend Cartland Truck stop. It's Location is at an end of a small path but follow the arrows as you will come into a big yard which can accommodate over 20 hgvs easily, there is an on site cafe serving hot and cold foods that is reasonably priced, a lovely seating area and lounge with television, a pool table, a gym and fully equipped toilets and shower facilities too. Parking costs £25 for the night payable by Snap, cash and cards accepted, check it out !
