Simple easy coffee shop with a nice selection of food, drinks and snacks.

One of best local locations for a coffee and more. The have indoor and outdoor tables to enjoy your coffee. I highly recommend their flat white and salted caramel cheesecake.

Pleasant staff. Seemed to be running out of eats by 3 pm on Saturday when I visited. There worst aspect was several people ignoring the no smoking signs at the tables outside - with the door open the smoke was coming in the cafe.

In the centre of the city, opposite the Marlands entrance, is this popular place for a quiet drink. Indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors a choice of high back chairs and tables and towards the back are comfy sofas. A wide variety of coffee and teas, snacks and more. Easy access for the disabled too. Usually, it’s used as a internet café but it’s ok. Light music in the background adds to the pleasant atmosphere. Can get busy at weekends.

Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Usual coffees, like latte, mocha..., are fine, however house filter and Costa Rican are more or less rat poison. I may not be a true coffee lover but I tried and that is way too acid and bitter, I keep trying and even after 2 sugar and 2 sweeteners it was undrinkable for me.

Lovely staff, great coffee. You can also get a free bag of coffee grounds for the garden here. Special mention to Zac and Joe. They are both super efficient, very friendly and make a great cup of tea and coffee. Have visited twice more and tried the cappuccino which was perfect both times. Good coffee shop. Internals are long and thin, so not so spacious, but very few places in the area are.

Good food but I'm not a huge fan of the coffee here. The atmosphere is nice and the seating is comfortable with a few outdoor tables. Not dog friendly but you can sit outside with them. Nice range of juices and smoothies, pastries, healthy lunch choices and cakes.

Coffee #1 is by far my favourite coffee house chain, and this one is no different. The staff are super friendly, and helpful. The drinks selection is far more vast and varied than the likes of Starbucks, and the prices are great. The special coffees are a nice touch, but the Spiced Chai is the reason I keep coming back!

A nice coffee shop located on the busy high street. The coffee here is always nice, and cheaper than the coffee that you can get from the Starbucks over the road. The atmosphere in the actual shop is a friendly one, with people encouraged to take a book from the shelf and get stuck in. Of course, you can just take your drink away. My only complaint is that they got our order wrong twice, but perhaps it was a long and stressful day for the baristas.

Lovely atmosphere, competitive prices. The After Eight hot chocolate is one of the best, and their seasonal drinks are always interesting to try. They have comfortable seating and a nice outdoor area, it is a nice café to meet up with friends and is in close proximity to The Marlands and West Quay.

Lovley (astheticly) coffee shop in the middle of the city centre. Unfortunately the staff member that served us spoke poor English and was unable to answer about the allergens in the pastries, served the customer before us, a cake with almonds on, and then handled our mug without washing hands even though we had just asked if there were nut free foods! Would not recommend if you have ANY allergies or intolerances
