Absolutely lovely place! Stopped by for a coffee and a toastie... And let me tell you it was one of the best toasties I have had.. They are so friendly in here and a family run shop so feels very welcoming. I would urge anyone to minimally stop in for a bite to eat and a hot drink. I didn't get a chance to try their sweets or chocolates but will absolutely come again and try what they have on offer.

A great selection of sweet treats. The owners are super friendly and helpful. They stocked my Christmas sugar mice that my family and I love! Such a quaint sweet shop tucked away, but reminded me of of my childhood and a good place to bring the kids for some new memories for them. Prices I would say are about average, but cheaper than most of those "American candy" shops that are about. Plus, it's so nice to support a small independent business.

Absolutely loved it!! Kids loved the chocolate pizza workshop 😍 first we got to pick a big glass of pick and mix, then we got to decorate this on a big round slab of gorgeous chocolate! The owners were very lovely and made sure we had a great time!

i thought i'd visit here to get an ice cream with some holiday money as a holiday treat!!! the shop looked pretty neat with confectionery and ice cream stand and outside a few neat bistro type chairs and tables set out!!! not massively!!! just nice for a few people!!! the lady was very pleasant and got my order from the cash register part and said meet me out the front to get a single coconut ice cream cornet for about two pounds!!! i had viewed the menu outside a touch on the tables and it was going into five pounds odd for bigger sundaes!!! i didn't particularly want to do that!!! but i got what i wanted still!!! the lady said its a perfect sunny day for ice creams isnt it!!! well i yes i said!!! thankyou so much!!! and she was very smiley and looked willing to help customers!!! and that was that!!! walking away a happy customer licking coconut ice with my shopping trolley all the way home!!!

This has got to be one of the best places to go for a nice coffee or a tea any drink really I went the other day the people were so kind and the food was amazing I definitely recommend this if you want a nice hot drink or even cold drink

Gluten free, dairy free chocolate place with a variety of sorbets, chocolates, candy and more. The owner is a sweet soul with a beautiful smile. Accessibility measures are good with out of shop in mall seating.

Truly Wonderful! So impressed! Best cuppa tea I've Probably ever had. Homely welcoming staff. Clean and tidy shop. My daughter's strawberry ice-cream was the best she'd ever tasted and I had a cheese n pickle sandwich. So soft, fresh and delicious. It even came with a few complimentary crisps on the side and a chocolate bourbon biscuit with our tea. Very highly recommend! Great prices too. Spot on!

Really hygienic place to go to enjoy homemade chocolates sweets or lovely coffee. Right in the centre of town.. I have been going here for over 10 years now and they have only ever improved the way they work, the way the cafe looks and the delicious treats! I'm fond of this place and I hope others are too 😊

If I could give Fredericks more stars I would as the owners are absolutely amazing & nothing was too much trouble. If you want to go to a sweet shop I would 100% recommend Fredericks they got loads of jars of different sweets some that took me back to my childhood. Fredericks also make their own chocolates well impressed by the quality & selection. Also, the prices were very reasonable & cheaper than other shops. If you not been into Fredericks you certainly wouldn't be disappointed.

Excellent little sweet shop selling sweets I can't find anywhere else like giant cola skulls.

Amazing selection of sweets, classic old time sweet shop and also American candies you can't find anywhere else. The fudge is to die for, the chocolates are lovely. Docked one star as the milkshakes are made with sickly syrup, crusha I think, which isn't worth the price in my opinion. Other than that, brilliant little shop!

Wanted some hand made chocolates for a special birthday, and found this place. What a great place, after chatting to the staff I bought 2 boxes - 1 full of truffle type chocolates and the other had all the other types. These were really great with terrific flavour - 100 times better than any standard chocolate box I have tried. I Will be going back.
