We were in Hanley for a week whilst working at the theatre and were so lucky to have Esquires on our doorstep! The staff were lovely (Jenny - you are a legend!) and we would recommend to anyone for such friendly service and yummy food! Thank you all! :)

Lovely spacious cafe to sit and relax after a day of shopping. The staff were all freindly especially bekki that served me one of the nicest coffees I've ever had, also the almond cake is to die for :)

Very nice experience. If you're vegetarian or vegan, try their vegan sausage roll and have a range of non dairy coffee selection as well. The only downside were desserts. None of them vegetarian except fudge cake-which btw was great! Will be coming back for more

I bought myself and my mate a small breakfast (sausage, egg (poached or scrambled), beans and toast), along with a cup of tea for myself and it all came to £7.90. Two breakfasts and a cup of tea for less than eight quid! Come on, that's a steal. Really, really nice staff too. In fact I got a two eggs scrambled eggs for the price of a one egg scrambled egg. Being a handsome devil definitely has its perks. I will be returning.

I was finally able to try this place out and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious their coffee is. I had a regular Mocha and a slice of their Lemon Loaf. They managed to do what these large chains can't, mix the wonderful full body flavour off coffee with the rich delectable taste of chocolate without it tasting like a candy bar. Every sip, I tasted coffee without drowning in sugar. The lemon loaf was perfectly moist and tart. In my experience of eating Gluten-Free deserts it's usually a swing and a miss, they normally sacrifice flavour to make it gluten-free. I'll definitely be back for another treat.

Great food and drink, but poor availability and increasingly expensive. Have come here for a good few years, but in the past 12 months it has degraded and lunch is something of a lottery as to whether it's available or not, with sandwiches/toasties often unavailable by early afternoon. I really hope it improves, as I loved this place in the past but it's increasingly hard to rely on.

Lovely place to eat, drink or just meet up with friends. Lovely, friendly staff and the food is beautiful and not over priced. Loads of seating inside or outside, modern interior and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend this place if you're up Hanley pop in and try it.

Really nice coffee, great atmosphere, the music is chilled and at a good volume. The staff are nice and helpful. There are lots of food and drink options, including vegan and gluten free. Theres a range of different milks (including non dairy). The decor is nice.

Just been in there and i was truely blown away by the quality. There was lots of options for people with dietary needs and vegans and vegetarians. The coffee was one of the best i have ever had and the food was absolutely superb! I will definitely be back in the future. It is probably the best place to eat and drink in Hanley.

Seems like a nice place, lovely decor, prime location. Looks like a nice menu, though didn't get chance to sample anything as was just a fleeting visit. However my friend had a pushchair and it was a difficult maneuver in between tables etc. Not very accessible for those with child or disability particularly. Though I have to say a staff member saw the struggle, and was quick to assist us, and was very polite.

This coffee shop is fantastic! I absolutely love the vibe. This is exactly the type of shop that Hanley needs. The music is very cool and makes you feel like home. The coffee is even better. And I just realised it's fair trade and organic. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Today was my first day here and the beginning of many more.. I love it!

Really love the look of the place. If i have to be honest i was underwhelmed with the food. I ordered an eggs royale.. i was disappointed with the dish. Balsamic glaze? Eggs were suspicious. Over all the place is lovely i guess if you are just going for a coffee.

Came here impromptu looking for a late breakfast and was really impressed with brunch options. Breakfast bagel and latte was really good and exceeded what I had expected. Latte looked well presented! I’ll probably come here more often instead of going to places like Greggs for breakfast options.

I used to love this place and call it the best coffee shop in stoke. But their drinks quality has seriously decressed over the past couple of months. The flat white I've just had is actually a cappuccino .It's a shame as I do love the store .

Me and my husband love it here. It's an industrial decor style cafe that is really up to date and laid back. The staff are friendly, there is ample seating and the food/drinks are amazing!! I deffinately recommend....

Usually use this as I like to support local business. Today the girl serving really did not look like she wanted to be there, unable to take cards today. Asked what the sandwiches were and got a shrug. Then was told they it said at the front what they were. The reason I askedOrder was missing a drink, when questioned it she had missed off, so had to pay. She looked like she really hated her job. Girl making the food was very pleasant. Unfortunately the food was pretty poor. Ordered toasted BLT. When it arrived was warm, bread was very dried out and hard. A disappointment
