D. O.They don't come any better than this lovely welcoming cafe. The very sight of the cake display counter on entering is a delight indeed. The staff are extremely pleasant and welcoming with a Barista qualification to match the very best, and outshine most.
As a lover of 'Flat Whites', they are at the very pinnacle. Where else are flat whites advertised as small, medium or large. Most cafes/coffee-bars do not even offer a large. They should come here to watch and learn.
I tried a Blueberry Muffin which was very fresh and crammed with fruit. My friend had toasted ham and cheese sandwich with tea which also scored a 5 star rating. Very fast service too.
D. H.I love Muffin Break I visit the one in Derby regularly. I visited this branch today for the first time and I was not disappointed. The drinks and food are always wonderful and of a reasonable price. My advice is to be part of a loyalty card system, where you get every 6th drink free, it's well worth it. Well done the Burton branch you are keeping up the very high standards
J. C.A great place to have a drink and warm sandwich... Lovely choice of festive mains and delicious cakes. Very organised staff.. Polite and friendly. And hard working.. They never stopped.. And never complained.. We love going there.
S. S.Nice seating and friendly people at the counter. Unfortunately the coffee was too hot - spoils the taste of the coffee and milk if you burn it! Also spilt a bit of the coffee over the cup handle which is a bit messy. Shouldn’t be giving coffee like this to the customer. Also the “fresh” cake wasn’t fresh. Tasted a couple days old and a bit dry too.
K. S.Staff are always really nice and helpful here! It was also really nice to feel slightly normal, not sat in anywhere for a long time due to lockdown! They were super on the cleaning too so nice knowing that everywhere is super clean and safe :)
V. C.Really nice place and we enjoy going there with my sister. Unfortunately last few times we couldn't enjoy it so much, every time when we go after 3pm the staff start to drag and stack chairs, clean, sweep and mop the floor, is really uncomfortable to be sitting and someone around to start preparing for closing the place when actually their closing time is 5pm. We couldn't eat our cakes and finish our tea because of the dust from sweeping the floor. We felt uncomfortable when all of the chairs were stuck next to our table and looked like no more guests are allowed to come into the area. We felt like we should leave. I am sure this is not the way this coffee should work and this job should be done when there is no more customers in there, definitely not making the customers to leave. Not sure if we will return again there.
B. P.I have only just discovered this cafe but it is first class !! I have never seen a cafe team work so quickly in order to serve their customers!!!
A great selection of food and drinks and always spotlessly clean.

K. S.The place to come and take up tables not eating or drinking! So many people just sit there taking up tables when people need them. Food is nice but staff should make people move on to free up tables. Even a lady asleep on todays visit, just sat there taking up a table
G. O.I was dubious when recommended the gluten free raspberry muffin but I highly recommend.
Staff very helpful and friendly a great place to stop for a rest while shopping.
